  • V70 T5 Premium – please give your opinion on the car – THANK YOU

At the moment, drive an Opel Zafira OPC A with 240 (chipped) Turbo PS, 4 cylinders and an outstandingly functioning ICOM liquid injection (LPG). Would like to change me, as some here, perhaps. I also read plenty, but am not yet right through. I have just found the following Fz. http://www.autoscout24.de/…/detail.asp?… What do you think of the Fz? I would also like to know what a turbo is installed there (manufacturer)? g with the turbo, of course, depends on the driving mode of the previous owner, but tends to. I also read frequently, that these T5 engines “only” EURO 3 meet, unfortunately there is no pollutant class with this model. I assume that he, since 01.2003, EURO 4 has, right? Should also be converted to LPG. Does this Fz hardened valve shafts? Is the price/performance ratio justified? Is there any other “weaknesses”? – as said, I also read some things(e.g. climate compressor) , possibly transverse handlebars, Ok timing belts after 120,000km). I’ve been digging a little bit in the VF, but not all questions have been answered. Thank you for your competent help. Greetings, Walter

  • XC90: Blinker goes…don’t go…don’t go…go…

No, that’s not a stupid thread, my blinker doesn’t work sporadically. It’s only when I blink to the right and not always. It usually occurs when I hold the blinker, so don’t move the lever over the rest point. If it then occurs, it doesn’t blink, if I cross the rest point, or can’t reach it at all, the lever goes back automatically. I’ve had it several times now, but never when I’ve passed by. Do I have to wait until I happen to be unable to do so or can I make a complaint beforehand? Can I fix this or do I need a new lever? Is this on guarantee? Greeting Martin

  • XC60 Kullelrdesign a la Mercedes?

Hoi Together, was someone from you in Detroit to experience how the new VOLVO design world of the future should become? Well, there is still the Internet, so you can save yourself the whole Kerrosin:http://www.gmx.net/…/3364582.html If DAS dss is to be new design? Sorry, for me this has nothing to do with square-marked-edged-practical VOLVO-others tradition. You just have to look at all modern Mercedeses on the road: everyone is so snarled… Many alben die Kulleraugen zu Schlizen verschorten… In addition, there’s a glamorous logo for understatement… Well – my old European taste unfortunately doesn’t meet any more… (my purely personal opinion). What do you think about this new designer wind at VOLVO? Watch out and good luck… happy new year 2007!!! chari

  • Wheel locks – yes/no ?

Hello together, sure everyone has to decide for themselves, but I would be interested in your opinion regarding rim locks. If so, can you use the same for winter tires 17” Antaeus and summer tires 18” Camulus? How much do the per set cost to the friendly? Thank you for your tips. Greeting Peter

  • XC 90 Sport finally there…

Hello together, wanted to hire a photo of our new XC 90 Sport…….. originally had a Touareg in mind, but the discreet appearance then spoke for the Volvo… The delivery could only be guaranteed, because the AH changed the Vfw.Order into our Sport…..otherwise it would have become January… Now only the parking aids have to be installed at the front and then is delivered.. It is by the way a D5 with complete equipment….

  • Adhesive actuators when disassembly springleg V70II ?

Hello together, I have a problem with my V70T5 Bj 2000, So every half year, there is a strange loud scary noise on my front right, mostly caused by low spring and mostly only lasting until I want to show it to the next workshop hitter. Say: I don’t have the slightest idea what it is, but it doesn’t sound like it’s nothing or harmless. If I put the car off overnight, it’s usually gone afterwards. Or you take it away. The problem seems to have been solved again temporarily (at least for about half a year) on the lift and by the “lifting” . Now the driving fun remains quite on the track since, because you don’t even dare on the highway anymore. Therefore now a workshop master of a free workshop suggested me to expand the whole spring leg and look where it could come from. However, he said, after that the drives had to be re-glued !? Is that true ? I It would be annoying if I had to invest that again without being sure that they would really find a mistake. I would be grateful for answers and maybe someone also has an idea what the strange poltern could be. (I know that you can hardly say anything about it if you didn’t hear it) If it occurs, it clings to every smallest floor wave as if the car were take the shocks unsprung and jump the wheel right through the bonnet.

  • S60 2.4 Start problems

Hello, I Dominik and new here…. I own an S60 Built.:99 133tkm 2.4 140hp. Is not the first in my family… my grandfather had a Volvo representative for 35 years…but once we are not anymore…. So now to my problem, my beloved elk jumps in the morning when it is cold, so from about 7°C not on all 5 cylinders, after a short wobble in or also mla nem gas shock runs the whole… the topic I had last winter, however, if I had V-power or other n “Edelsprit” in the tank had, I did not have the problem. Now this year it can happen, after the first start and then stop at the first traffic light the engine goes off. My consideration was, throttle valve, because it always falls at the traffic light at 500rpm and then goes up also 900rpm. Spark plugs could still be, air mass meters however also… unfortunately I am a little helpless and don’t want to change everything and then it was the last vll had j a someone here already the problem or knows what it might be… unfortunately I haven’t found the right answer in other threads here in the forum yet… I am very grateful for your help. PS: Pictures I still submit to

  • Change of timing belt

Hello, I drive a Volvo B70 T5, year 2002. He has now 87.00 Km on it and at 90,000 there is a timing belt change. I was at ATU today and asked what this costs with water pump. In addition to water pump, turning roller, tensioning roller and timing belt, they said that the belt should be changed and new frost protection is needed. The fun costs about 420,- €. Vote this information and it is better to go to the Volvo handler than to the free workshop. Thanks for the answer.

  • 5000km – Dashboard rappelt

Hello municipality, *SARKASMUS AN* my moose has already sprung up about 5000km. And now the dashboard starts to rattle in the stand gas. Sometimes it rams, but also vibrates at higher speeds. I mean, the car was also a real bargain with 48+Kteuro, that’s normal?? *SARKASMUS OFF* Does anyone have an idea what this might be about? Sometimes I have the impression that the rattle comes from the instrument carrier. Greeting Thomas (who sometimes doubts the quality of his moose because of the loud D5 and the creaking dashboard)

  • Flashing engine malfunction lamp

Hello together, I’m slow with my Latin at the end. Briefly to the error description: I have a V70II R Built 2006. I have had to change my battery because it was still the original battery, on my car. Since time it doesn’t run the same. The consumption is too high, light power loss etc. What I’ve noticed since, is that if I just turn on the ignition and wait until all the control lights go out, one does not go out. rsymbol, not the triangle) stays on. About 20 seconds, then it flashes 7 times and goes out. I brought the car to the Volvo dealer and had the error memory read out, but this was empty. Software reset carried out, not even a success. The Volvo mechanic said that there is no such thing as this car that it flashes. Does one know this phenomenon, or has it already noticed? I can send you a video, where it shows better again. For all tips, tricks and I hope so. Thank you Gruss Roman
