Hello!! During extensive Google research I have repeatedly stumbled on this forum and decided to register and start a thread (total forum noob!). I have got bigger problems with my V70 II(S) Built:2000 D5252T(103kW). A few weeks ago the known error of the DIM (voltage controller def. thus total failure) occurred and was fixed by the electronics expert (EPS) –> vehicle worked again perfectly afterwards. A few weeks later, after a longer period of time, Standing time of the vehicle the following problem: Ignition key plugged in and turned on level I and II –> no reaction (DIM, climate, stay without current). The problem exists since then permanently. VIDA Dice can not establish a connection with the CEM – can therefore unfortunately no error codes attached. As a result the power supply, the CAN bus cables, as well as all fuses and relays were checked by circuit diagram, At the CEM measured (in the respective ignition key positions): 30+ on pin E3 and E6 (12V) ) S to Pin B1 (12V) X to Pin B2 (12V) 15 to Pin B3 (12V) X+ to Pin C1 and B10 (12V) 31- to Pin E1 (transition to ground) At CEM the relay CMI22 is bridged by a jumper, the air conditioning starts and at DIM the only one lights up the engine control light (which indicates intact DIM??). What parameters or input signals does the CEM still need to control the relay CMI22 and to power the control units behind it. Otherwise, it almost looks to me like CEM defek t out..? With the hope of (He) solution… Thank you already in advance..!

Heating inactive wg AI change?
With my V70 the heater can no longer be activated, neither directly nor by timer. In the spring everything worked fine. In one of my first attempts this autumn was at least the ventilation on and also the AI showed what, but the heater itself did not work. I thought it would come from the temperatures around 10° but today I found that it can not be started directly. The only thing I have exchanged since the spring is the combi-instru ment. So I wonder if there is any connection? The timer and the direct start function for the preheater are displayed correctly. If you could exclude the connection, then what can it be?

TF80SC Gearbox Problem
Hello everybody, my gearbox is having trouble again, but this time it’s right. What happened: I’m driving loosely on a expressway today at noon, all of a sudden the message: transmission reduced power. So right on the right and see, the car completely slammed with transmission oil, up to the tailgate. Car on a trailer, brought home and looked what’s going on. We saw that when you insert a drive stage the transmission oil almost in the beam from the small hole between Gearbox and engine are coming. Does anyone have a tip what this could be? The car is now standing at the workshop but until something can happen it takes until after Easter. To the car: V70 D5 MY2007 317,000KM. Even if it needs an exchange gearbox, I will definitely have it repaired because the car got a completely new engine before 50,000KM, otherwise almost everything has been new except for the transmission and is in a really very good condition.

Volvo S60 D5 Bluetooth / CD-change retrofitting
Meal with each other, two weeks ago I bought a Volvo S60 D5 Bj 2007. It has a HU-650, the phone and a Navi. Now I’ve been watching for a few days now how I get more than just a single CD and radio on my speakers. Best in combination with a better sound For this I came across the YATOUR adapters, which offer an emulated change as well as Bluetooth, but apparently are no longer produced (Nowhere else The actual questions would be 1. Can I simply replace my HU-650 Plug ́n Play with a HU-801 or are there problems with the Volvo bus system? It should, according to some forums and videos, produce a much better sound. 2. Error code
Hey community, I read out some mistakes today. Has a lot come together. Some I can delete after all two problems. CEM-1E05 communication with the CPM control unit. (think about plug-in connection or cable break) It also gets very slowly warm. Think only by engine so that the heater does not start at all. Maybe someone already had the same. And the second is not quite so wild… PHM-000C handset hook signal is missing. So freephone system i.e. however if I have the listener (Contact error???) 5Gang Automaton switches loosely, jerky
Moin, am the “new” here. After years of enjoyment of a T-5R I have now for some time a XC70 2.4T AWD automatic Bj.2002. The problem: He likes to switch from 4 to 3 and 3 to 2 jerky if you let him roll a little before. Also he likes to drag with swing from 3 to 4, or 2 to 3. An oil change (original oil) brought some improvement for the time being. The transmission was not flushed due to the high mileage of 300,000. r and the adaptation values (without adaptation drive) reset. After that it ran much quieter, the jerking when switching down was gone. When switching up it is still quieter, also the jerking when switching down has become less, but seems to pile up again. Also, it now hits the gears from idle to D and R unsavory. It always needs some speed it seems. The other jerking when switching down occurs mainly at approx. 2000 revolutions. We have it after the reset moves about 100Km. Do another adaptation drive, if yes how? Oh yes, between the oil change and the counter reset lie just under 6000Km. Thank you

S60 D5 2004 Exchange climate compressor etc.- Flushing necessary?
Good evening together! I would like to change the air compressor, the dryer, the capacitor and the pressure valve on my S60 D5 from 2004 with approx. 320tkm. The parts are ordered and the installation I would like to take over. But now the question, because in many instructions (also in the one from the compressor manufacturer Mahle) is that both the expansion valve has to be replaced and the entire system has to be flushed?! I would have the system evacuated, the parts replaced and then re-used. Is the flushing and the exchange of the expansion valve necessary? Pollution from the outside should not be in the system, as the air conditioning system works and cools normally. However, the compressor makes light noises and the magnetic coupling does not always separate correctly. Thus, there is a slight imbalance in the belt drive. How do you estimate the situation, is the flushing necessary? A clean working environment is of course basic prerequisite! A nice evening, many greetings and thanks in advance!

Radar warning update for RTI??
Hello, I’m interested in an (possible?) extension of the functions of the original Volvo-Navis. I want to load a radar alarm to protect my points account. At Volvo you can’t understand this wish, because we all drive exactly to StVO. Besides, these systems are not supposed to be good. However, I didn’t have the impression with a TomTom Navi on PDA (350 €). My work colleague confidently protects his driver’s license from temporary wings several times already. Does anyone know a solution so that my (in Volvo’s opinion) unheard of desires can be fulfilled? Otherwise I will probably install a second navigator and ask myself for the next 3 years why I got a lot less at Volvo for a lot of money.
