For some time now, I have had the impression that the automatic air conditioning system of my S80 year 2001 is no longer cooled in the usual way so far. The compressor seems to be fine, at least the turn on and off is heard. The automatic air conditioning system also works, running at high temperatures for a very long time on a high level, just because little cold is blown out. The left side blows colder air out than the right side. Probably the right side does not cool at all. What can the problem lie in? I have been constantly in the inspectors so far. The air conditioning filters have been changed regularly, but the cooling fluid etc. certainly never changed or measured. I thank you for the hints. NS: Thank you for the previous hints: 1. The problem does not only occur in long distance, but basically and also in the short distance area. 2. I will have the cooling fluid checked soon. Moin, I noticed increased wear on the rear wheels during the rudder change, the tires were completely worn out outside. Generally the result of wrongly adjusted track or fall, however, the car was only in the summer with the axle measurement. The tyres are now on the third season, about 60,000km. Last summer this was no problem at all, because the tires looked great when changing. Now my question: does the error picture indicate a certain problem (damper/spring etc.)? Thank you!

Hi, I have a 2014 XC90 with auxiliary heating. If I do the direct start, only the orange triangle goes on for a short time and the direct start goes off again. No noises, no click nothing. Now I have to say that it can be that the SH is “locked” / secured after 3 misstarts. I was at a Volvo workshop today and one of the mechanics only said that there is no such thing. If the noise does not make any noise, no ventilation or blower, then something must be broken. I had to play a similar game at a VW T5. Since the workshop also wanted to sell me a new SH for 1200,-. In the end, the repair cost me a bit of sweat and 300,-. I have now considered whether I would not get such an iCarSoft and possibly put the error back myself. Moin, so I’ve always wondered why my elk doesn’t have a DSTC switch in it. However, according to the diagnostic menu, DSTC is present in the vehicle and active. Can you retrofit the switch? Or did it just come later. My elk is MY2001. Is it possible that it wasn’t intended to be able to switch off the DSTC at the time. I only have the switch for “Deadlock” and two blind plugs under the climate control. I have already been searching intensively here in the forum and even under google I get only switch bars that have the DSTC switch in it. Was this forgotten with my elk?

Hello guys! I bought a Volvo XC90 D5 automatic bj 2007 with 185 hp about half a year ago. The problem he had had since the beginning is that the engine when the car is standing overnight, and I am running in trouble. That’s up to half a minute to a minute, then everything is normal again. That was very strong at the beginning, I changed the fuel filter, all the light plugs and the glower relay. Since then it has become significantly better and sometimes even gone. Only if I start it and put in a driving stage it starts to jerk again. Partly as if it had 1-2 ignition drops, but that happens quite rarely. When I bought it, it had 145tkm down and now it is 160tkm. It seems to me as if the engine had no power in the stationary gas for the first minute. That it is probably the injectors, however, I can not honestly imagine at the best will. I already read that some had the same problem, the injectors were exchanged and then the problem still exists to me? What did it happen?

Hello, I’ve been having a V70 D5 MJ2006 for a year now. Within one year now the turbo hose has slipped for the second time. I got new turbo hoses in 2007 as part of the maintenance. In July 2008 I stayed for the first time and since the ADAC-man probably did not know the ADAC-pan statistics (and I didn’t have the car yet) I was brought directly to the workshop by tow truck. Here the tube was renewed from the turbocharger to the charging air cooler. Quite 11 months later the same thing again. Now I knew what it was, but at night in the rain on the highway it was not to be repaired by means of onboard equipment, so again on the tow truck. I trust the workshop to work properly (I have never seen anyone who cleans a pipe pier so carefully …). And although this is now a known weakness of the D5, I am assured that there are actually no problems with the new pipes anymore. Now my question: do I have to expect that this will continue to happen in the year? Does there exist any ideas, how can you prevent the greetings Martin?

Hello hers, tonight at some point a full-honk tried to kick off the left mirror. I found it fully folded up this morning, the glass hung on half-eight and the case is sitting around now loose! mirror I got back in its position, glass is again where it should be and also the electric adjustment and the folding at the push of a button continues to work perfectly! With a murder-wound in the belly at the friendly call, because of repair, afterwards I was even more angry. Speigel is electric, heated and electrically foldable – to the 3xx.-€ for the spare part thus still comes the assembly costs, allegedly still 15 euro for the purchase of a software (Please WHAT????) and the programming in the BC too! Thumb value about 500 grind! Somehow I feel massively messed up by my :-), I have to seriously get a software DAZUKAUHEN, which only makes quite a bit of time with this one mirror What? And in addition I have to put on ~40.- Euro so that the mirror is programmed for me? And now I do NOT get a whole new deal, but anyway I want to make a whole new deal.

Hello With my V70 of 2004 petrol a few lamps from the lighting of the air conditioning unit were defective 1. In the forum posts searched and found. Conrad order number for almost identical LAMS FEEDING AND ORDERING 2. Defects pear out and new threaded. The Conrad lamps are slightly longer but fit still 3. Climate control unit built again……….all lamps dead ! It also smelled slightly of electrics 4. At Skandix (with me around the corner) new original lamps worried and built in……….nix……all dark functions of the air conditioning part work……….just no light Question : Is there a fuse for ?? or is the climate part shot ??

Hello all, I found yesterday the “Console, suspension suspension rear axle left” (acc. to Skandix) completely rusted through. Have attached pictures. The question is, is there a repair instruction or tips / hints for the exchange? Can I just unscrew this part and exchange it?
