  • Gasoline pump V70

Hello, so far I have always been a silent listener in this forum, but now the time has come when the workshop and I will not get any further. Hope I am here in the right subforum! Vehicle details see appendix. I was greeted by unpleasant gasoline smells 3 months ago and the car ran very restless. Error was quickly localized and the fuel transport unit was changed (new ordered by Skandix). In this course all seals were also made new, as the na A month ago, I got stuck on the track (130 cruise control, suddenly loss of strength until the complete standstill, didn’t start again), was allowed to let me go and the master could not fix any problem – car ran again! Well, funny feeling then to be back on the road without having done anything, but word is word. Lief also without complaints. Last week exactly the same problem. I So everything was perfectly secured and when waiting for a colleague tried to start – see there: engine, ran quietly. I then had to tow to his master with a towing rod and the Volvo went out again during the towing process (engine on and idle). The master measured everything and the fuel pump only delivers 0.5bar. My questions now: Cann’t be that the pump is already scratched, right? It was all tight and nothing licked – many things Is there electricity problems (Relais?)? I would also be very grateful for all other ideas about problem solving! Wish you all a nice weekend, Joel

  • Volvo S80 I air mass meter, which fits?

Good day, on the one hand, the problem which currently exists with my vehicle (Volvo S80 I, year 11/1999, 2.0 T, 163 HP petrol) is probably due to a defect of the air mass meter. This was the opinion of the mechanic of a car workshop and also the researching here in the forum. Well, the mechanic spoke of a good 300 Euro repair costs. On the Internet, on eBay, you get a new LMM starting from 35 Euro. The installation or exchange is probably not too difficult – plugs pull, screws lösen… Now to my question : When listing the compatible vehicles, I usually find only the 180 HP version of the 2.0 T – the predecessor, as I have it, with 163 HP I can not find. Can I in this case take the LMM, which fits the 2.0 T 180 PS version ? Is the installation really not too difficult ? Or do you have to adjust or regulate something afterwards ? Thank you for answers Greeting Aponale

  • Anti-slip maintenance required

Slip protection maintenance required so it writes my XC90 2006 4.4 at the moment and comes back immediately after deletion. In the attachment is a list of the last error messages. Is it the LWS or can I look elsewhere? And how? I was almost six months in the hospital and the moose would move by the boss who ignored the message sometimes nicely. I hope for a few ideas on your part because I am really desperate. Until here Lieb Gruß Sascha

  • After 15 years of Volvo I say “Goodbye”

Hello together, after 15 years the era of Volvo is coming to an end for me (for the first time). Unfortunately now at the end really ugly. Now that I have invested several thousand euros in my V70 D5 and He has let me down again 3 weeks ago, on the way to the holiday, I have pulled the tear line now. Not easy for me but at some point the point is reached, then it is with Funny. That I go away from Volvo has several reasons: – The Volvos in my budget were too expensive or to old – the maintenance is now too expensive for me with the older ones, if you are dependent on the car every day – the customer service of Volvo is in my view now the last. One has the feeling that you are with the car what is 15 years old, is not gladly seen. Maybe there are 1-3 friendly ones with which this is different but that I can not look for. The successor will be a Mercedes W204 from 2014. I thank you for the nice time with you and wish you more Have fun with the moose and, above all, accident-free good ride. I would like to ask the experts one question: The tank from the Volvo is still marginal. Does anyone have a trick like I can just drain it or pump it off? Bridge the pump or something?

  • Clutch change at the Volvo V70 2, horrendous costs?

Hello together, recently the clutch slips in my Sweden, so I was informed about the cost of a clutch wobble. Now I was told at PitStop that the fun should cost me about 2,100 euros. Can that be? I am absolutely not a connoisseur, but researching the Internet has actually always resulted in a price between 400 and 600 euros. Here are some more data about my car: Volvo V70 2 Year 2000 2.4 liters key no. 9101 834 I would be very grateful to you. kbar, if you could tell me if that’s realistic.

  • Vida Dice Problem… where are the IT experts?

Hello together. After a long time I was allowed to receive my Vida Dice from the UPS man today. Only with the installation it does not work properly. So I installed everything according to the attached instructions. IE9, .NetFramework 3.5 etc. The installation runs through and at the end comes the info as on the picture. I then went to the folder 3pp and installed the SQL Express in it. But everything remains the same. I already got through the Mega Vi because Tread read through but I found no helpful answer.

  • Problems Ardic heater Volvo s80 D5/2003

Dear people! Someone is familiar with the heater from the Volvo s80 D5. I changed the burner unit in February through an entire new unit (Feb.2014). Then the heater did not run very often anymore, since it was already warm and it was no longer necessary to switch on due to the temperature. Now that it is cold I have noticed that the heater does not start again. Was then today at the friendly and had the error memory read out and the servicepak 2.0 charged. Then the mechanic tried to start the heater over the laptop, you could hear how the device turned on it smelled a little bit like diesel but the unit didn’t ignite, after a minute it went out again. We tried this procedure twice, but nothing did happen. Furthermore no exhaust gases came out and the pipes didn’t get warm either! What could be funny about it, that no error was spitted off!? • Switches or more defective?

Hello, yesterday something annoying happened. At the XC70 Mj01 Geartronic, 2.4t AWD the reverse gear could be inserted, but the car did not drive. Speed remained idle. After some turning back and forth the idea came to me to turn off the air conditioning automatic and swoops again everything went as if nothing had been done. History: Gearbox already flushed, B4-Cover renewed, yet occasionally hard shifting strokes in the lower 3 gears, but only when car warmed up. Questions: 1. Is there a connection between climate and Geartronic, or was it more likely to happen? 2. I suspect the shift shifter. Is there any other sources of supply for overhauled SS besides this?http://shop.strato.de/…/?… 3. Can you buy the Solenoid Replacement Kit somewhere seriously in DE or EU?http://www.rostratransmission.com/…r-replacement-linear-solenoid.php I can’t say anything about error codes since I’m only coming to read out tonight. • Fixing the gearbox problem – the following plan correctly? Ask for short help

my gearbox causes problems when switching or jerking when changing gears, especially between 3rd and 4th gears at about 50 – 60km/h. Motor D5 (XC90 AWD 2006 Vorfacelift), mileage 135,000km.. I don’t know what kind of gear is actually installed, but after a long reading of various forums (also from the USA etc.) I have compiled the following plan: 1. Change gear flush to TE 2. B4 Servo Cover (?) 3. Update for the gears however I would have a question to No. 2. and zw ar is written quite a lot about the B4 servo cover and that this cover very often solves such problems with the gearbox.. my on-board computer does not show me that a transmission maintenance is required.. moreover I have no problems with R gear or when starting.. only as described above during the city trip.. I also hear no noises.. so I think that I could solve my problem with the above 3 points.. Please now just for info where I can find this B4 servo co I can’t find it at Skandix, for example.. what’s the name of this thing in German? Is there even this B4 servo cover on my gearbox? If so, I would definitely have it changed, since it is supposed to cost only 25€
