  • XC 90 test, AMS 5/2003 of 19.2.03

Hello Volvianer, when I read the car engine and sport this morning, I almost fell away from the faith. The (normal way) central organ of the German automotive industry provided the XC 90 D5 with an excellent criticism for AMS conditions, so that the purchase of the booklet is worthwhile. I can sign everything, suspension, consumption and brakes. Except the engine criticism. My XC 90 D5 (pull. 07.02.03) must have another engine, because it is not atzuglahm (previously V70II T5) and is not By the way, my engine cover is black, which silver of the test vehicle. My family loves him, the children especially the third row, (strike!) and I finally got used to the annoying cruises (cut 130 km/h) on the highway. Volveamus, let’s roll Sweden Armor

  • Delivery times XC 90

Hello together, the question about the delivery times of the XC 90 is always the topic; but there are certainly no concrete statements about this. I plan to order one next week. Is there someone who currently ordered and already has a delivery confirmation (and if so at what date)? Carsten

  • again: 50% more dipped-beam

we had the topic already quite thoroughly. wanted to tell you two things for a short time. on the one hand: one of the two pears for 50% more dipped light is already after a good seven months and a good 13 tkm. however, I ALWAYS drive with light. that is annoying on one side – somehow I had expected a somewhat higher lifespan. on the other side I now have a normal and a “50% more” bulb in it. that is the hammer! ss the lamps actually brighter, I could see. but I just didn’t think so much brighter. since I take the significantly higher costs AND the short lifespan of the pears somehow like to buy. a longer lifespan would naturally still be nicer.

  • My fat one’s sold!

Hello fans, after 14 months and almost 60tkm I offered my big guy at mobile. even such a reasonable price calculated (probably too reasonable) equipment inscribed and uploaded. after about 30sec the phone rings, I should please take out the xc90, he is bought with it. I didn’t even have a picture in it. I was really bad, wanted to try……. as a serious dealer I can now no longer fall out of the trap and must have it n……….heul. on Tuesday the new one will be ordered immediately….joy me! of course with 185ps, 400nm, 3rd generation commonrail, 6-speed automatic, and sniffle piece (rpf). the color will certainly this time be titan grey instead of black metallic (because of drecksensitivity), inside again beige or maybe inscription but not pianoblack inserts (also dust and fingerprint sensitive). I am strained on the prices and the possibilities of inscription. trailer coupling, stand heating, and dark fen ster I want to retrofit. el. sit I don’t want to sit anymore (always adjust when getting out and while sucking you wait forever until the thing drives forward and back), xenon must, premiumsound also. with the mature I was very satisfied with the 17s, however, also do not know the 18s. with the stand heating I still have no plan. can you please help me!? 18er yes or no? stand heating in NL still switchable? which manufacturer supplies the heater? there is inscription experience? am grateful for every serious good advice!

  • Brake Assistant

I had the brake assistant work today (necessarily). I noticed the traffic stopping in front of me a little too late, because I am abruptly from the gas to the brake at speed 70. There was a low click and noticed a massive delay, half hung in the belt. This is the absolute madness, would not have thought that one could delay so much with the V70 – I came to the stand in time…

  • All-wheel: how do you see if the electronic helpers intervene?

Our Volvo all-wheelers usually emphasize the front wheel drive and the Haldex only intervenes when the electronic helpers report “sleep”. Do you remember that actually something? I have never noticed whether my all-wheel drive was active or not or whether e.g. ESP or DSTC or what else there is intervened. Has someone actually noticed something before? Rolo that it calms down if all this works even if it doesn’t keep reporting…

  • Purchase advice S60 Built 2001

Hello I would like to have a look at a Volvo S60 2.4i (125 kW / 170 hp) automatic, year 2001 with approx. 162000 KM, and I am a complete newcomer in terms of Volvo technology and (children) diseases. What should I look at especially at the S60 Mj. until 2004, or what should I hear about e.g. the automatic transmission or the chassis. Is the electrics vulnerable and, as an Audi eoE strained, what is the spare parts supply for older models? Since I have been shut out for 22 years now, what is the spare parts supply for Volvo for older models? I don’t want to learn how to curse at the first Volvo 😉 A head wash from my wife, which then moves the car as a daily driver, I don’t really need to be there. I didn’t find a purchase advice for this guy right now, I just did too stupidly. Precautionary cars from the house Audi, and automatics only have three stages, it would be advantageous if I could get my arms under my arms in terms of Volvo technology. Thank you very much level44

  • Date of issue: V70 D5

Since our V40 is now allowed to enjoy its well-deserved retirement, the successor has been on the farm since the weekend: V70 Summum MJ2006 D5 with 136KW and 140tkm and all possible extras like 17″ with 225er, sports suspension with level mat, tinted windows, rear flap spoiler, RTI, Xenon, etc… Now it’s time for another AHK and I have to take care of the standard problems PDC and additional heaters… So, on a friendly, high-level and solution-oriented collection n work here around forum and you read yourself…

  • What is a 2002 V70 2.4D still worth?

Hi Volvo municipality! I separate myself from my good old buddy from Sweden and have the question to you, what can one get for a 2002 V70 2,4D in black and stapled condition and 208 tkm still like that? Did you sell similar cars so that you can give me a tip? I don’t want to be rude, but also don’t give it here. That makes easy still 200-300 tkm. He has a 2 year old AHK, auxiliary heating, blinds behind, almost new roof beams and 8x aluminium rims sow he a retrofitted Bluetooth/freephone radio. Otherwise “only” the standard equipment, but for that also less can be broken. I would be very grateful if you could help me, as I drive to the car theater with it on the weekend and have a realistic minimum, where I drive back home without selling it! Many greetings and thank you very much! Michael

  • AI instrument defective .

Hello Have probably the KI Instrument(S60 / 2002) defective, so battery disconnected, KI instrument removed, and on Monday brought away to a specialist workshop in Gladbeck to the rep. Today(220€), PCB cold soldering points and integrated circuits renewed. KI re-installed, battery clamped and ignition turned on, but nothing does, no ads in the instrument, only below right the lamps light up. With Hobby OBD device no error is displayed, I’m curious tomorrow morning goes to the F Wesel’s resounding – let’s see what he’s saying.
