Hello everybody, I would be interested in what the V70 gasoline engines use realistically with moderate driving mode (handshifting). Under the search function I can only find something about the larger engines – but I am also interested in the 2.4 liter machines. Thanks and greeting, jogg

Chocolate!
Hello, since my best wife of all yesterday fell unnoticed a chocolate egg on the passenger seat, which she then ‘seat’ in the seat cover for about 200 km. (V70 MY 2002, partial leather anthracite, seat heating). The cleaning action with normal fat solvers brought so far no real success. 1. Who knows good cleaning tips? (If it matters, it was an after-eight egg, and only borderline tasty.) 2. Is there in case of emergency besides the friendly another source for a replacement cover (possibly needed)? Exchange should not be a big problem, or does the seat heating cause problems? Thanks. -harka

3 hours left
Hey to everyone, so slowly I get crawly, after now 6 months waiting after the order of my big elk I can pick it up in about 3 hours. Nicely clean and with (still) shiny paint and with kick steps but like (almost) all in black with black executive leather. My son has already picked out a DVD to test the entertainment system of the children. Maybe then I will also sit back and let my wife drive – oh the elk is unfortunately anyway for her. happy…joy…joy…

Cut-off
Hello Volv(f)orumgemeinde, As a foreigner (Käskopf, but without caravan !) I have been reading all the reports in this forum for some time. Although the German language did not have much secret for me (I lived and worked for 1 year in the circle MSP) but from time to time I ask myself where the words OHL and IMHO stand in the Duden … … ? According to context it should have something to do with this difficult organism called woman or with opinion. But please explain this more closely. Already thank you in advance, Jan

V70 R RTI TMC Version?
Drive a V70 R .Super car for 3 weeks.Only my RTI causes me trouble.Although dozens of traffic jams are reported on the traffic radio my RTI shows 1 times or a maximum of 3 traffic jams. Have the following version (found under help in the menu) SW Vers 0000869 Kartenvers AEU_01_200402I HW-Vers 0030732653 SW-Mod EU got an older version after complaint from the dealer with which it displays a lot of traffic jams but the map data does not seem to be up-to-date and it does not show any traffic jam length in the map. This changes. cardvers AEU_01_20041G How can I see what a TMC version I have in the workshop is apparently not able to find out.

Kilometers driven by Volvo Workshop to find a problem
Hello All on the other hand, after having to drive through the country with a “pipe” XC90 for a good half year now and the problem of the whistle-blowing ventilation flaps seems to be at least partially solved, we ask ourselves the following question. Our Volvo workshop needed about 6-8 dates (all day) to get to the track of the problem, it was driven about 1500km from the workshop and since we feed our V8 exclusively with ARAL Ultimate (liters approx. 1.45EUR) this also cost us about 2100 EUR of interest money. By the way, we also have VOLVO PRO. After all, this is a new car with a guarantee, but apart from our time expenditure, now also the fuel costs have to bear the torn kilometers, after all, seems to us to be a little hostile to our customers. By the way, we also have VOLVO PRO. A rental car was always available without any reason, but who now bears the costs and who pays us the loss? Are there any experiences or reference cases …

Rear windscreen wipers in the washway
Hello! Now there is already a washing system theme for the XC70, but the XC90 wants one more… 🙂 This is not about the tank cover (which seems to be relatively stable in the XC90), but about the rear windscreen wiper (which hangs so crooked down after each patch of the tailgate, that you have to be afraid that it will fall off). In this case, the thick guy wanted a wash, but unfortunately lost his rear windscreen wiper, because such a bad brush has just torn it off. That is, only the leaf has fallen down (with the holder), because a small plastic part of this click system has broken off on the handle (that is firmly connected to the wiper motor) from this click system. Has this happened to you or does the elk perhaps only want a real hand wash (maybe it is a bit of a piece)? Basti (“If only the car was washed by the dad, it is also broken.”

XC-Haldex (even with Instant Traction) isn’t that good?
Hi together, we all remember the funny action of a German TV production, which had to mount an XC90, which had just driven a little bit into the snow (800KB, WMV. Now I just happened to film a well-known, sporty XC90 driver, as he “liberates” himself from an almost less dangerous situation (6.1MB, MPEG). Wouldn’t you have expected a “twitching” of the rear wheels here at least? The front wheels are going through more than once? How was it with the quarter or 4x turnaround until the electronic clutch gripped? Between these two clips there is a lot of time and 80Nm Haldex pretension. Will you say, the XC of Cubs probably has IT (meaning not computer [which he also has on board], but the Instant Traction). Isch now too tired? Situation dangerous after all? Cubs too cautiously with his car? Haldex nevertheless a little good? Muss eMKay now get a podium (for his Pro-Tors remarks) and the good-Speakings of the Alps!

Permanent full gas d5
Hello, Now that my XC90 d5 (still unchiped) has gradually entered, I am interested in your experience regarding the stability of the engine. I often travel at quite unchristian times and therefore have the opportunity to push the accelerator over long distances on the motorway permanently. So far I had no problems with my diesel engines even after 100’Tkm. What about the d5? Does it last or do I have to expect that it will fly around my ears at the “early” opportunity? Greetings from A Robert

Volvo S60 CNG experiences?
Hi, on Wednesday I get from the Volvo dealer a V70 with the 140hp natural gas engine for an extensive test drive.. Would have rather taken the S40 or V50, but there is no engine 🙁 Since the V70 is not my case, the S60 would be my alternative. Of course my own impression will be decisive, but comments or experiences from you would still be desirable.
