XC 90 D5 with manual transmission Hello friends, so now I have the first 3,000 km with my brand-new XC 90 (D5) steering wheel behind me. Conclusion: I still like to ride it – a wonderful SHIP for cruising. Although I often like to go quickly (driving otherwise still a SLK) I like the WANDERDÜNE Grosselch. If it rolls once, then it stops. Statistical data in short form: Consumption: the first 2,000 km cut 9.5 the last 1,000 km 8.2 liters !! – Okay, I live in the country and drive little city traffic, but often highway. VMAX : 198 km/h according to Navi! – There you can’t complain – although above 185 hardly anything is possible. Acceleration: Wanderdune – jeder Smart or Twingo is faster – the first two gears are EXTREM short, since I don’t get out of the shifting again – tip for cityrs: AUTOMATIC processing – a middle measure – that’s not a class. Even the X3, the material weakness is not told to be compact, but the rides still be quiet.

Different prices for inspection
Dear Mitelche, I’m mad. I called three different Volvo dealers on Friday and asked what the 40,000 for my V70 D5 costs. The first one demands € 353,-. My (former) favorite dealer in Neuss wanted “just € 450,-” and the hammer: The Düsseldorf branch of the same dealer takes € 50,- less. The included performance was the same, free replacement car included with all. However, on my question, which explains these price differences, the surveyed service managers thought there would be different hourly rates at the individual dealers. Why the hourly rate in Neuss should be considerably more expensive than in Mönchengladbach or even in Düsseldorf, nobody could tell me. I can only advise everyone to handle it as I will in future: Before each inspection I call three to four dealers in the area, and the cheapest one wins. As a result I have just saved almost € 100,- it was similar with my wife’s Renault Espace. By previous price comparison, I can’t understand the price for a lot.

V70 driver tests XC90
Moin together, for the second time I had the opportunity to test an XC90 D5 while I had my V70 D5 in the inspection – all with Geartronic. But unlike the first time (last summer) it was the new model year, and he had only 400 km (instead of approx. 5000) on the Tacho. Besides, I had much more time because I could keep it until the next day. My findings: Conclusion: I love my V70, but the XC90 really pleased me. 1 year and 9.5 months still, then my leasing runs out – I already had the XC90 firmly in my sights… By the way, I also had my OHL drive: Was very pleased… “Approved”, it was said… Greetings Frank

V70 2.4 140 PS Questions??
Since I am supposed to switch from the D5 to the 2.4 gasoline with 140 hp due to the car policy of my company, my question to drivers among you with the same vehicle: – what is the experience with the automatic? -What is the experience on the highway in terms of speed range 160-170? -What does the moose take on average? Joe (who hates to exchange his D5 into the alternative Mondeo full equipment)

I did it…
oh , oh , inwardly the bad conscience blooms with me…… Yesterday I became unfaithful to my elk and ordered a new car. after a lot of things it became a S80 Black D5 edition as a switch. Since it becomes a company car and already leads the basic model to the payment, the remaining equipment is manageable: level, rain sensor, laminated glass. Upholstery Savannabeige, outside black uni (one of the ugliest colors, but extra charge free…) well he has no Russ filter, but with 4% total load my bad conscience is kept within limits. well, let’s wait there what comes and how he does his thing. Through some reports here about errors, which I don’t know with a 2001 S60, I am already unsure. This was one of the last free S80be nationwide. now there is still in the order association 2 S80 BE…. (model year 2005) oh yes, someone is looking for a practically slap-free very well preserved S60D5 premium with 170,000km (yes, in 4km) Jürgen, etc.

El.Sitzverstellung Memory
Hello, I have a problem with the memory function of my el. seat adjustment (new V70 D5 summum). The whole thing would have to work in such a way that my wife programmed her setting to No.1 and I mean to No.2. If then everyone locked up with his key the seat would have to drive automatically into the position. But if he doesn’t, he just drives at the push of a button! Do I do something wrong with programming or why can’t it work with the different keys? Greeting, Stephan

Tank contents of the V70 Diesel MY05
HI Elkgemeinde I thanked my new moose for the first time (after which my friend was so tolerant and filled up the tank when picking up the new car) and found out that I could fill up almost 64 liters of fuel and that the tank indicator was still in reserve. The control lamp did not burn either. You also had such experiences with my previous V70 125KW Bj08/01 petrol tanker. Thanks in advance.

Cigarette lighter causes plugs to burn
Who has experienced this before: New tomtom go bought, plug in the V70 cigarette lighter, plug squealed (burns off), new plug fetched (because maybe short circuit in the plug), torches again. What should I do now? Buy new V70 with reasonable cigarette lighter? Consumer

Who drives Volvo-SachsPerformaceSport suspension with levels on V70-II?
Can anyone tell me something about this? Is it also someone who drives this chassis with Niveumaten? Is it the chassis consisting of blue gas shock absorbers from Sachs and the yellow springs from Eibach? Is it very hard or not so much? Does the car go down much or less? Sorry, if my not yet ending search for the optimization of the road position of my V70-II slowly annoys with comfort suspension and level mats, but I just don’t know what exactly I should do now. Unfortunately, I don’t have so much coal to experiment with, but I won’t be able to withstand this spongy comfort suspension MIt Niveuas for long … I don’t know whether a sports suspension MIT Niveuas brings just as much positive change as a one without Niveuas … Wouldn’t want to put the car that much deeper and not even the rear of the HA! (I hope the level of the level can be adjusted at all to a deeper suspension, if only the springs of H&R should become …) Robin
