  • XC90 deliveries

Somehow, it’s beginning to make me feel that Volvo Sweden is pretty much the German market in terms of XC90. In June, only 185 XC90s were registered in Germany. With an average of 200 copies per month for Germany, that would be just 2400 pieces per year, which would be a share of the total production of about 3.7%. Quite little in my view for the world’s third largest market of Volvo. And that’s against the background that the buyers are waiting. The cars are now being sold. Every customer that Volvo currently has long delivery times will not get back in the near future, because they are using Mercedes, BMW or VW.

  • Experiences XC90 D5 Chiptuning?

Hello to each other, have been a silent observer in this great forum for a long time now. I found some great info that was very helpful for ordering my XC 90 D5. For test drives with the D5 and the 2.5T the fuel consumption was 4 liters above the diesel. At an annual mileage of about 40000km this is too much for me. However, the diesel was a bit too sluggish, especially on climbs. I found the engine power of the 2.5T optimal. I ordered the car as D5 and hope to be able to help by chiptuning the inertia on gradients and in the upper speed range. I am not concerned with higher final speed, but about torque increase. Does anyone have experience with the weatherer and how does it look with the flow and consumption afterwards? Does Wetterauer TÜV provide registration for the XC 90? Also search 19″ rims for the car. For tips and experiences I would be grateful. Greetings andixc90

  • Who could imagine … ?

Hello, for the good time of the Christmas days, I would like to ask you: Who drives a vehicle of this series of them and thinks about whether maybe a V70 III, an XC70, a V/S 60 or V40 might be his next vehicle and fails again and again, because he is so satisfied with his Volvo for various reasons. Say: What can the current series really be better than ours? What has been lost to the current series compared to ours? So: 1. I would definitely miss the stately sitting feeling in my partial leather sports seats. 2. I would definitely miss the full closing noise of the doors. 3. I could only be hard on the long red pointers on the chrome elements of the tachometer and speedometers. 4. It is always nice to be able to sit in a clearly arranged car. 5. The Volvo Charisma of our series 6. With the new series, the steering wheel is much higher and one has more space between steering wheel us legs. 4. The dynamic rear view is not too busy with LED B rear lights. So, I would not find the youngest.

  • Hello, for now.

from other forums I know the nice customs first of all to introduce myself with a short “hello”. In the RL I am Frank and am a 38 year old computer fuzzi, who finally exchanges his Japanese for a V70. 🙂 Next to the Volvo I often travel in summer with an XJ90 from Yamaha. After I have read here in the forum in the last days, I was able to realize that you are a very funny bunch. Greeting from Potsdam

  • Window lifter, window lifter V70II

Hello, my window lifter on the front right is on strike. Last year, when it got cold, he was still zucking when it got cold, nothing was going on. I thought it might be related to the temperature. Last weekend, I dismantled the door panel, cleaned everything and treated it with contact spry. Unfortunately, without success. Now it’s obvious that the engine itself is defective. But I didn’t dare to expand it, because I couldn’t get close to it and I was afraid that I couldn’t get the Mechnik together any more. If I loosen the 2 Torx screws on the sheet myself, can I remove the engine without further ado, or does everything come after it?What do I have to keep in mind? How do I get to clean and grease the sliding rails best? It’s very close to the door. Thank you very much for the answers!

  • XC90, 18″ with track plates or yet 19″, the agony of choice……

Or: How I burned money within four weeks… .. When we bought our XC90, he had already bought a Heico sports suspension with lowering, but the registered 20″ Heico Evolution were unfortunately not there. Instead we had 18″ Atlantis for the winter and 19″ Vulcanis for the summer. With the 19″ that was OK, but with the 18″ that looked a bit funny, especially on the rear axle. I bought then in January this year track plates from Eibach and see there, VA 2x25mm and HA 2x30mm have already helped clearly there. The TÜV had justified objections to take the plates for 19″ off, but at the 18″ it was not a topic and led to the desired success. Some € later then the drama. A top offer for new 19″ Volvo rims (pictures follow) with new Pirelli winter bikes. I simply couldn’t change and decided. My tyre costs will rise and snow chains will officially not drive, but for it is a uniform size of 18″ of the winter tires and the signs of 19″ and the signs of the big ones in the summer.

  • Volvo V70 Bj 2001 – buzzing at speed 2000 – Does anyone know advice?

Hello! I recently have a Volvo V70, automatic/petrol 140 hp. It drives full power, new TÜV, checkbook tiptop. What bothers me, however, is a loud buzzing at speed 2000, this “murmur” is annoying and the accelerator pedal is also slightly vibrating. The noise only occurs when I give gas and only in the 2000 speed range – and not when it just rolls or I take the foot off the gas. Everything in all is a fault diagnosis complex and in the workshop also expensive, because it can be “everything”. Does anyone know advice, is there experience? Similar problems? Diagnostics? Thank you very much for your help! Clea
