  • Oil loss somewhere under the engine

Orrrrrrrrrr! I get the moths! After the dampers have obviously made the back slippery, but I don’t see it any more tragically this morning, I also have to realize that since the oil change in May I have lost about 1 1/2 liters of oil. Better still: probably in the last four to five weeks, and indeed since the exchange of the LiMa and the climate compressor. After that somehow the turbo hose has slipped off. That has been fixed again, then I have found the first time an oil-wet underfloor. Then the air intake hose has been changed from the filter to the turbo, which at least has done the whistling of the turbo. Now the box has been standing around for ten days and now everything is dripped down! Nothing that explains 1 1/2 liters (not even at all) but that it has to drip somewhere on the car. From the front and above everything seems to be in order in the engine room again, it is dry and clean. But the underfloor is neatly smeared on the driver side and there are hanging drops to see. After home, what I can certainly get into the workshop, but now 1200 km.

  • Heck wiper arm change V70 MJ07??

Hello dear community, Last week at the petrol station stop, when cleaning the rear window of the windscreen wipers, almost all plastic clips of the wiper have broken down and it has broken down into its prime factors. Therefore, during part shipping, specializing in automobiles of Nordic origin, flights ordered a new arm, looked at YouTube change instructions and adjusted for a quick and trouble-free change —> Mistake. Have tried with all mitts to remove the arm from the shaft and have no success. May not even be so firm as to jerk off the engine inside. Does anyone have a tip??? PS: In the appendix an image showing the battle tracks at the wiper arm… Thank you in advance for the help! Salocin

  • Exhaust gas error P0171 – Delete errors and to AU ?

Hello, my Volvi has for some time had the error P0171, $12, which means that he is running too thin? (causes* other topic, the garage yard smells a bit of petrol when it is cold …). In September, TÜV and I deleted the error with an OBDII reader. The error then comes after about 20 – 100 km new. If I drive to the TÜV now and the error is deleted first, and the exhaust gas values would be OK, does it exist then, or is the error still “visible” although it is deleted? – Can I make an AU separate from the TÜV (at Volvo), perhaps with a little bit of something for the coffee box? Did I realize that the TÜV technology breaks the inspection process, if there is a “extinguished” error (war) and then there is no plaque… *The throttle flap I had repaired in 2012 (contactless reverber), perhaps due to false values of this “repaired” throttle flap? • Spring expansion for lowering/rear axle V70 II bj. 2001

Hello screwdriver, who can help me. Wants to lower my V 70, but don’t understand how I can expand the spring back after I already have the damper out. Please give me a short explanation! Is my first Volvo and knows me from the past only with VW. Thanks in advance!

  • XC 90 and dog

Hello to each other, after already in another thread the suspicion came up that he glides towards the dog. Here is a question to the dog owners among you. How does your dog get into the high XC90 part. With my good old V70 my best could jump comfortably in. At the XC 90 he tries however like with shepherd dogs in the age unfortunately normal he has it with the hip. Result he has to be lifted My attempt to build a transportable ramp failed until now miserably because dog is calibrated and the part crashed in itself together. PS: I did not even try to find a possibly suitable entry about the search function. Greeting Reb14 (Dirk)

  • Passing beam bulb changed, still no function

Hello together, my elk has not caused me any problems for a very long time, so I am looking for some things. On Friday morning I get the message in the display dipped light broken, actually everything is dark in front. The standing light bulbs have not been working for a long time 😉 but have changed now. Then I drove into the tunels with fog light. Now I wanted to get to work, have viewed this videohttps://www.bing.com/…/search?… but that looks slightly different with me. Behind the bulb/burner is a temple with me. According to the video, the plug can be simply pulled off, but it doesn’t go away with me and it’s hard to get out. How do I get the bulb out? Have installed on my Läpi Vida, but I haven’t been in the program for a very long time now as I don’t know how to get to the work instructions. I found the drawings. So, which illuminant is the right (in the manual 55W H7) How to expand, how do the plug work. Where do I find the instructions in Vida. I did I use the search function. I thank Markus.

  • Volvo S80 – Rest current at 2.8A

There’s only one thing I’ve got to say about the last thing I’ve got to say about the last thing I’ve got to say about the last thing I’ve got to say about the last thing I’ve got to say and write 2 volts! That’s more than empty. Of course, I bought the battery four months ago. I’ve had an old home and I’ve used the first time and I’ve got the “new” at home fully charged. Today I wanted to go back and the full battery that I installed yesterday was down to 10.7 volts and it was again all “dead”. So the full battery just didn’t go into it. Then I’ve got to check out the two battery. I’ve got to measure the voltage at the battery in the rest state – 12.4 V. Then during the car ran over 14.7 V. It’s measured for me the order. So I didn’t have to do the same thing about the battery.

  • S60 Tempomat failed, engine maintenance required -> Which spare parts dispensers?

Hi guys, in my S60 BJ03 (or 04) the cruise control has been out of my mind for a while (6 – 7 months). At the beginning he just went out or stayed out of it, now he doesn’t go on anymore. The engine compartment has in the sound insulation quite a mule damage, but on the cables at least no defects can be detected (and otherwise the electrical system doesn’t spin either). Unfortunately, I can’t read out any error code in the VIDA and wanted to get me now on suspicion (cheap) used sensors for clutch and brake. To this my question: Are there dispenser vehicles S60, S80, V70 II, XC 70 and XC 90 in consideration? And: The sensors are only installed if the car also has a tempomat? Or does each Volvo have a brake pedal sensor for the DSTC? Background: A V70 butcher has referred me here again, because he just gave me the steering wheel switches + software registration. That’s why I’m now unsure whether I can’t get the spare from an Achmat-less Volvo too, but I’m sure sure to see the tempo.
