Unfortunately, I don’t find any information about the inspection intervals of the D5 MY06 on the inet side of Volvo, nor in the high gloss brochure (maybe I am and I’m standing somewhere, but I’ve tried really hard…) I heard somewhere, 30TKM or once a year. Is that so true?

Ask for help: Does anyone know this problem?
Hello dear elk driver So, now it’s time: After a good 2 years with my S60 2.0T, MJ 04 and nearly 40’000 km I had my first breakdown: The car didn’t start in the evening and I was stuck in the parking of my company! The problem turned out as follows: The Fzg. let itself open without any problems with the remote control and everything looked really good. But when I wanted to start the engine and the starter operated: nothing happened! No error message, no whirring of the starter: nothing! So I tried among other things again to close and reopen the car with an additional battery? And look: Wrumm, the car started again without a problem. Anyway, he tested the battery voltage and that was ok! So I drove quite normally after the car in intention to have nothing to start the car with an additional battery! And look: Wrumm, then the car started again without a problem. In any case, he tested the battery voltage and that was ok!

XC90 – Coupling
Question to the XC90 drivers with circuit: my friend has had an XC90 d5 SC holder 6-speed for about 3 weeks. Everyone who has been driving with the car so far thinks the clutch is set wrong in the sense of abruptly approaching one-couplings (1st gear start) This often chokes off the car, only grinding clutch starts. The friendly already on the phone says that the clutch is set correctly, especially since the car also has to pull residential trailers (at least theoretically). So he does not want to accept the problem. What experiences you have made with the clutch, mE I have not read anything negative about this yet. Thank you.

Why go to the grounds? 😉
In contrast to our XC fan I don’t need to drive into field, forest and meadow to explore the true qualities of my XC, I just have to roll out of the garage and stand in the middle of the real field of my off-road all-wheeler. The streets Lübeck are not worth being called as such. In retrospect I will post photos as soon as the rain has stopped. Lübeck is one of the most beautiful cities in Germany with probably the worst roads. It is a shame. Who can report similar things??? Magni… who is happy to have a more stable chassis

Film S60 R on test track
Hello Together the page with the films has been posted, but when I saw the movie again today I noticed something.Volvo Filmchen Click there on Volvo’s secret test track. after about a quarter of the movie you see the tacho briefly in close-up at 250km/h. At the bottom right a red light lights up and flashes briefly a second. But is relatively blurry there. Does one of you know what that is? After the end of the movie you can download it too. Then you can play it better. Gruss Ben PS looks just after a lot of fun…

Rugging / switching on air conditioning
Hello MT-ler, I’ve already opened a thread under “Motor Aussetzung”, but now I don’t dare to do so. When I drove on the highway yesterday, with cruise control and climate-automatic switched on, I regularly felt a little jerking. I recognize this as switching the climate-compressor into a small Peugeot 206, I didn’t expect to feel that in a real car. When I switched off the climate-system, I actually didn’t feel a jerking anymore. Now the questions: Do you feel something like that? Could it be that my elk needs some refrigerant so the climate-system less on/off?

Replacement trolleys for warranty work
Hello you! My friend has just explained to me that he does not have to give me a free replacement car during the warranty period for the corresponding warranty work on the car. Unless it takes more than two hours for the repair of a single defect. I escaped from him that I had at least 7 defects and counted them on him – in the sum determined 4-5 hours of work. “No chance, I don’t have to do this, for none of the listed works I need only approximately 2 hours” …Originalton Finally he directed and said that I would receive a free car in a kulant way, but he would not be obliged to do it. I am curious about your experiences and opinions. parkbank

XC90 Executive
Have just seen my 1st XC90 Executive in the wild (o.k., he was still standing in the “delivery dress” with the friendly one). What struck me was that the leather didn’t have the colour-decorated Keder!?!? Otherwise, especially the leather claddings of the doors look extremely better (are otherwise only artificial leather). Also the flap of the compartment in the center console is differently shaped (clobier, not more beautiful). I then studied the price list directly. Executive means: according to the equipment, it costs 2.060,-€ more than the summum. For this, you get the soft leather instead of the normal, the claddings in genuine leather, other rims (which are probably not more expensive in the production), walnut root wood and a plaque on the C-pillar (beid side), as well as the option on extras that are not available for the “normal” models (felled in). If you could order a leather-related dashboard (even if you get a Peugeot), Martin would be almost the premium greeting!

Rain sensor – the solution!
A few weeks ago Martin (XC70D5) gave me the tip that a quasi “re-justification” of the sensor was possible by deactivating the lever as well as knurled wheel and subsequent re-regulation after switching off the ignition. Thanks again, Martin!!! What should I say? It worked from the beginning! Even in the dark! Why I didn’t post something rather, is because I wanted to test it over a longer period of time, not to sing too hastily praise hymns. By the way, let’s not forget that in Torslanda I interviewed the nice lady in the “Volvohallen” regarding the software update. She said that she couldn’t help me there, but certainly the gentleman who just came in to the door. He was a test engineer and asked if I had the car with him. He showed me the procedure as described by Martin at the time and said: “You have to do it like a computer. First run down and then restart it. Then it’s OK. To the software, it was not a good thing to laugh.

XC90 luggage room 5/7 seater
Hello together in my price list (Switzerland, model year 2005, 1.2.04) for the 5-seater a luggage compartment volume of at least 483 l and for the 7-seater at least 530 l is given. The maximum volume is uniformly 1837 l. The higher volume for the 7-seater must mean that the rear seat is mounted further in front of the 7-seater than for the 5-seater. Does anyone know whether the legroom in the second row of seats is in principle smaller than for the 7-seater, or can this be compensated by longitudinal shifting of the second row if the third row is not used? (Excuses the complicated wording) Greetings Christoph
