Hello guys, on Tuesday my new V70 will be approved and I will pick it up at the dealer. It’s a Sport Edition. This one has the 17″ Tucana rims on it. But because I want to use the 16″ Nodus rims for the following reasons: – better comfort – less rolling noise – small turning circle – Nodus I like better – full-fledged spare wheel – less fuel consumption prefers the 16″ Nodus rims, I asked my dealer if he would put the 16″ rims with spare wheel on it for free. I have just seen that the 17″ rims are probably between 820€ and 1040€ more expensive than the 16″. So I just give away a lot of money. Do you have an idea how much more a dealer can ask for a comfort with the 17″ instead of the 16″ rims? Would you like to try to get something out and have no idea how much I should put in, the dealer can tell you something else… V Ilen Thanks + Greetings, Andi

my XC90 D5 makes noises when cold – Help
Hello! I noticed that my XC90 in the cold condition when giving gas there are noises of itself.. it is as if there was a vacuum cleaner in the engine room.. so it is not a real howling but rather like a nozzle… when I walk away from the gas, then the automatic switches after a few seconds into the idling mode and as soon as the car is in idle, the nozzle is gone.. after about 20min or 20km it is completely gone, so when everything has become warm… I have a transmission flush up and the jerking between 3rd and 4th gears and the nozzle is still there.. I’m not sure now whether it comes from the gearbox.. otherwise you hear the turbo light, but is everything okay.. someone an idea?

6-speed Geartronic tough on the D5
Good day, I have now intensively dealt with my gearbox. The following was done: After my GT soon only completed the switching operations after mature consideration within a very long time, this was “restored” in a workshop. It was replaced converter, sliding box and “brake bands”. An oil flushing was of course also made. Now it switches soft & at the right moment. However, it is subjectively so that it seems too soft to me. It could be my opinion n Furthermore, the speed at Tempomat varies 110 kmh, straight track and approx. 2000 rpm light. What are your long-term experiences with Geartronic?? Have bought the car since 2013 with 136,000. Now 270,000 km. Ride about 800-1000 km per week with it. So I’ve already experienced a lot with it. V70 II / 2004 / CCM Lin Bus II Incorrect Data – Does anyone have an idea?
Hello, I have a V70 II year 2004 Facelift climate control. For a few months only cold air comes out of the passenger air nozzles, the nozzles on the driver side all work normal. I have tried everything so far: – 2 x CCM for used parts (same model year, same order number) replaced from the bay – 2 x actuator for the passenger side for used parts (same model year, same order number) replaced from the bay – air quality sensor renewed. – the small fan for temperature control in the CCM is renewed. – For test purposes all other potential interference factors are disconnected from the bus: seat heating, radio… Bus reset – CCM / actuators calibrated – also does not help much, the right moto does not move (as written, there were a total of 3 different actuators attached. – Battery is new, air conditioning otherwise works perfectly. My very friendly and very competent Volvo master also doesn’t know any more. the same error: CCM – DD20 Lin Bus 2 incorrect Data Maybe anyone else has an idea? I would be happy about any input 🙂 Thank you!

V70 II heating problem again
Hi guys, I haven’t found this particular problem here yet. My cooling water circuit works perfectly. But when I start the SH, I guess after a time there’s such a strong pressure that it pushes the coolant out of my moose above. Statement from Bosch and Schrauber: The SH has a temperature switch that only connects the small SH circuit with the big one at a certain temperature. Then the pressure is already so high that it comes to the above result. And d of course, the pressure can cause any line to burst before. Has any of you ever had this before? And who is the culprit? The pressure regulator? The temperature regulator? LG Stefan

With V70 in winter to the Arctic Circle
Hello together, drive in January only to Mittelschweden and later on to Lapland. Vehicle V70II bj 07, 2.4d, stand-up heating unlocked. Things like, – cooling frost protection on -40 – winter disc wiper water -40 pure – drain water at the fuel filter (new filter I got at the beginning of the year) – winter tires are only 1 season old – snow chains come with … are of course. Is there anything else that should be considered with the V70? At the V40I there was still such a cap the you jam into the front bumper so that the engine gets warm faster. Please no things “absolutely only with engine warmer and ONLY with winter tires with spikes…” bla bla bla… I don’t go to the moon, people live there and drive to work every day. I’m only concerned with special things that you should/could notice at the V70. Thanks for the answers, Greetings Razzor

Top speed of your Volvos ? ? ?
Hello together, in addition to the everyday problems we can talk about the pleasant things of our favorites – or? (or have you already been behind you?) It should also serve only the entertainment, where the data are purely voluntary. So when I introduced myself and my S80 2.9 here they told me that the TURBOBUMMS would be missing, but this model would still be a good choice. Hardly learned of this accusation, I drove to my , and tested an S60 2.5 T (20 0 PS). When I got out, I knew what was meant. But anyway, my previous pass had only 102 HP!!! And so the power (204 HP) of my current model doesn’t have to hide. On the actual subject it is only said that I hardly believed what I saw on the tacho when the first time gave him a proper kick on the gas pedal, and this held afterwards. The tacho extends up to 260 km/h, but the needle crawled about 1 cm further! On the track (A27 Rtg. Cux) it is almost always empty, and by chance I met an E55 AMG, which kniff the ass at 250. Conclusion: I passed. How horny was that? So the acceleration (didn’t know before) is quite neat for my terms and ranges steadily up to approx. 230 – 235 km/h, after that it is a little. But the end is only 1 cm above the 260 km/h mark. What I have not only experienced once. And how fast are your moose so? GRUß ALEX

Also a D 5 injured 🙂
Hello forum! Finally I have the S 60 D5 standing here at the door, more precisely since Friday about 6 p.m. 🙂 Equipment: – D5 Premium, – light beige/beige inside + wood, – Royal blue metallic outside, – sliding roof, – heater (Germany version for 750 .- :-I), – Xenon, – automatic, – parking aid. Should everything have been… 🙂 After this weekend my elk has 800 km on the speedo and yes… what should I say? *FROI* *FROI* Something of comfortable the seats, simply unique. Just the Fed The great thing about the car is that you’re kind of relaxed at every speed and don’t mind anything. Not even the Audi carvings 🙂 Today it was already dark and the photos didn’t turn out to be anything. But I’ll submit, I promise. Greetings. Matthias

Order S60
First of all, hello everyone. I’m new here and I’m writing for the first time. I intend to buy a new car in January and have already looked around. Last weekend I was lucky to be able to try a Volvo S60 and since then, of course, my decision has been made. Originally, I was interested in the 2.0T but it didn’t exist for test drive. They turned me on a D5. I have to say, although I don’t normally like diesel, this car totally changed my mind. It’s a pity that I have to wait until January with the order. Well, then the anticipation is even greater. Where I’m not quite conclusive, the outer color is. It should be something bright, but not silver (all-world color). I think Ash Gold has to look good. What do you mean ? As equipment I will choose: Premium / Luxury package / Automatic (switched) / Sports suspension / Parking aid / Xenon / CD Changer / Alarm system. Hope I don’t forget by the way: The forum has considerably strengthened my decision to really take the D5. Keep it up. Greetings from Munich
