Yesterday after running: my one and two friends want to relax after running still comfortably with ́nem Fläschen barley juice and watch other joggers. To this of course the lower rear flap part really pushes itself – only: how loadable is the thing? I found neither a sticker, nor a hint in the manual. At the X5 (old model) is on the flap a sticker “125 KG”, I mean at the delivery of my car the something of “150 KG” murmured Does anyone know something more specific? Did I miss something in the manual? Greetings Frank – weighs as well as nothing (special greeting to Gseum), but the others…

Garage door opener or where to put it
Hello together, after my third Volvo and the second electric garage door control now asks me the question where to go with the remote control. Or there is even a solution that resembles the homelink solution offered by Volvo USA in the sunshade. Unfortunately, Volvo offers nothing here for the European market (www.eurohomelink.com). Since I would like to have it comfortable of course would be something great. Maybe someone has already made something or has a different solution ready. I would be Thank you for every tip. Ohso, I have a Bosch drive that has a relatively large and visually not so appealing remote control.

XC90 D5, 2009 year, strange turbo noises (unload)
Hello, I have a “new” XC90 D5 Geartronic, EZ 11/2009. With the car I have the following problem: It does, if you take away gas quickly in the area of approx. 2000 Umin a hissed turbocharger-ablass noise. (According to workshop normal, nevertheless my 2004 XC never does.) But the main problem for me is that it also makes this rather unpleasant noise (so blows off pressure) when it turns up, especially from the 2nd to the 3rd but also in other switching operations. sometimes this stuttering blow-off happens even without switching (Manuel 3.Gang). You can see very clearly that the tachometer needle pulls away with the sound down (turns out). The whole thing is very unpleasant when driving, not really appropriate to a 55t Euro car. And I personally know such a thing of no turbo diesel. Basically, the sounds only appear when it goes uphill. Rarely when it is flac h is, Bergrunter never. The workshop (very hard to do nothing to complain) has now (on suspicion) changed the intake resonance tube, but the ruckelei and the noise have remained. Tomorrow I will drive another D5 for comparison, because allegedly (Volvo) is the “stand of the series”, but it would seem VERY funny. Could someone with similar vehicle or experience tell me something about it? (There are hundreds of entries about noises, but I didn’t find anything for that purpose. (-) ) Thorsten

Clamping roller bracket aborted!
Hello guys, I’m new to the forum and I’ve been driving a V70 D5 Premium from 2002 with currently about 180,000 km. When I bought the car with just under 150,000 km, I thought I’d get a solid durable vehicle. Unfortunately, our marriage is now a bit broken. Although after 160,000 km the corresponding maintenance took place and the timing belt was changed with everything else Grieskrams, I (probably) jumped the tensioning roller off the belt (probably due to bearing damage), the skin has and the holder of the tensioning roller of the timing belt is cut off (Fact). And that when starting from the garage entrance (not on the highway). On the enclosed picture material you can see the breakpoint and the book pieces. What do you think, you can weld the broken parts again or install them differently? Otherwise I would have to buy an AT-motor, but where (outside ebay)? The dealers around my place of residence have all shaken the head when I s he asked about an AT-engine. It would be almost only about Volvo itself from about 5 TEuronen, which makes a repair of my good piece uneconomical…. Thank you for your help. Greetings Gunnar2002

Tip for new radio searched
Moin to the community, since I have already got many good tips here in the past, I try it again today. I have a Panasonic CQ-C83** in my moose for 5 years. Now for about half a year the laser has been broken and a repair too expensive. I have been looking for a new radio for weeks now, but somehow I find nothing suitable. I am looking for something simple with MP 3, remote control (no need) and above all not snarled. At Panasonic I liked, because I didn’t know why I came to a Panasonic 5 years ago, but I was satisfied. Would take it again, but Panasonic supposedly doesn’t build car radios anymore. Hope you can help me make the decision. Greetings Thomas

S60 Heckspoilerlip of the “R”
Hello, the day before yesterday a S60R was actually parked next to my moose! First I didn’t finish with sabbers… (the “R” is a rarity in Austria, you have to know) Furthermore, I noticed this beautiful very discreet tail spoiler lip (on the tailgate). Immediately this “must have feeling” I found nothing in the net about this spoiler lip. Maybe someone knows if it is possible to retrofit this part on every S60? Bzw. how is the lip fixed? gt? Glued, or screwed? Someone might also have a clue about costs?? Thank you so much! LG, Nordisk.

Subwoofer in S60
Hello together, after having posted some questions about this some time ago, it was Saturday. I decided for the Alpine SWD-2000 Aktivsubwoofer. This seems to me to be a good compromise from good performance/sound, a lot of left-hand luggage room and not the “Proll-Image”, or is it. Again many thanks to Mikedti for the tips regarding the trouble-free disassembly of the hat rack. At first I was somewhat skeptical whether this woofer, since there was no Reviews in Internet forums gave, but I was not disappointed. The sound is really well upgraded. It should be said that I rather rock (Pink Floyd, Nirvana, Billy Idol, Guns&Roses etc.) listen to music, Techno and Black-Music rarely until never. I can really recommend it. The back bench is still foldable and the load can be used to 90%. Picture is given in the appendix. (May I be excused that I only sucked dust after the photo)

My first V70 II
Good day together. I am since yesterday proud owner of a V70 II Premium, EZ/03 – 140 HP, gasoline/automaton with 78,000 on the clock. My ’99 he Toyota Avensis had to retire with 180,000. What to say, total enthusiasm makes itself wide, incomparable driving feeling. I bought the elk from a Volvo dealer near the Baltic Sea after I got countless tips here from the forum. Now I think I would like to thank you all for the many advices. Now I think about taking a few days’ holiday in the Westerwald in the near future and having the “opportunity” at the much-quoted “Guru” on LPG “upgraded” after there are so many positive reports here. I only hope that the LPG prices, in relation to gasoline, will remain somewhat “stable”. If someone knows a good free workshop in the HH room, I would be grateful for Tips. Best regards from the Elbe C laus

What functions do I lose by…
Hey guys , I have a HU-803 in my S60 and I am naturally super satisfied!! But I would like to have a radio that can play Mp3 and has a USB port ! and the external solutions have not convinced me so much! I play with the idea to install a double DIN radio, now I have already read in several threads that it is not so easy since the radio takes over any other functions! Which are these and can you handle this???? Thank you in advance!! MFG Alex

Are SUVs popular?
This question has not been asked since this morning. We could meet within about 5 minutes: * 3x Q7 (2x black / 1x silver) * 2x Touareg (2x black) * 2x ML (new model 2x silver) * 2x XC90 (before MÜ, 2x black) * 1x Range Rover (black) And that in front of school and in front of kindergarten! Have a nice day.
