Problem with the tyre pressure sensor (not from Volvo )
Hello someone has also made bad experiences with the tire pressure sensors that are not original of Volvo. Had bought my from tyre dealers and after 2 months the error message tire pressure maintenance required. I to dealer and who told me that the sensors I bought from the tyre dealer did not communicate with the car. After some in and out between dealership and tyre dealer installed the original Volvo sensors, and the problem ( error message is gone.) wa Find that the dealership could have said yes that they had problems with Non-Orginal Volvo sensors. Then I could have saved myself the whole back and forth.

Survey: How to get to the V40?
Dear community, I would be interested in how you came to the Volvo v40 since. Since the market share of Volvo in Germany is only 1%, I find it all the more interesting to hear your story about how it came to the purchase of Sweden. I would also be interested in what you drove before. I drove an Audi A3 Sportback 2.0 Tdi with Dsg before. Full cabin. Since this 9year old and 160000km had run, I wanted to sell it because I would get a few euros for it. e. But it became unexpectedly difficult. The new Audi was too boring for me and looked not exactly different from my age. So Mercedes A class was considered. There was no spark, especially since I felt the car was very tight in the interior. Off to BMW. Well the one was like the A class. As a confessing golf hater he also retired. There I stood with my talent, and other brands are not in question for me. When I stood at a red light, I look directly on the Fu hrpark of a Volvo dealer. Engine damage after 3 years / 38t kilometers with Heico performance increase
Hello unfortunately a Supergau has joined me. To the vehicle Bj 4/13 / T3 always Volvo Service Performance increase Heico built 11 months ago During a motorway ride at cozy 120 km/h the engine started to jerk strongly and brought no more power. The immediate stop and tow into a Volvo workshop resulted in an ignition error at the first ignition coil. After replacement of the coil the cylinder compression was measured, since the engine still did not run properly. 1 without compression! after 10 days one could finally disassemble the engine and found that all 4 cylinder bushings in the area of the entrance have a damage or crack! Engine damage, which was due to an overheating. Unfortunately there was no report in the vehicle as well as the error report fit to the damage picture. Since Volvo offers only complete engines as spare part the damage amount at run 10,000 Euro with installation. Kullanz was rejected, as Heico Sportiv v Heico Sportiv rejects a warranty Stand Up : handed over to a lawyer Do you have any ideas or solutions ? I hope I get out of the matter well, because I am not aware of any guilt and I have always filled Super Plus with the pictures and the error report MFG Matze

Much too expensive….
Well, as a convinced XC-70 driver you are looking for a fancy second car for the wife…and you have to spend almost EUR 25,000 naked for the basic motorization in Kinetic. The gentlemen’s board members of the Sweden – almost all ex-VW group – probably suffer a little from overestimation. At least a 110 hp model for around EUR 22,000 ago. Then the car is still as expensive as the new A 3, but has the 4 doors ahead of it. Equipment is also not intoxicating, at least + EU R 3,000 so that you have the familiar feel-good standard of the Volvos. Sorry, with all conviction, for the same money I wait for the new A 3 Sportback. They make the same mistake as when pricing the V 70. Moving in regions of the A 6 or 5 BMW, instead of taking the more expensive pass on the grain. Image can not be gained only by a self-confident to excessive pricing. Question about USB interface and MP3 (Amazon downloads)
Hello for now, for 5 months now I have been on the road with my V40. Since I no longer want to deal with the ever more unpleasant topics of the current day of the receptionable radio stations during my daily journey to work, I finally decided to try out the interface of the comprehensively systematic binding, short USB, installed in the Kraftdroschke. Unfortunately this does not work as I imagined. Amazon offers the possibility Most of the records and CDs purchased via this platform were additionally downloaded as MP3 files. I used this option and put various albums on the stick. First of all, the joy was great, stick quickly recognized, folders sorted properly and all files there. Unfortunately, the disillusionment was quite fast. Problem: about half of the files the Volvo unfortunately cannot read and jumps on selection of the same for so long until readable data was found again. problem always concerns all songs of the respective album (e.g. from Deep Purple everything works, but NOTHING at 13 of Black Sabbath). Does anyone have similar experiences and a solution here, like the Amazon data become readable without much effort? Is this at all due to the files or was there possibly an update for the car? Unfortunately, the view into the operating instructions did not help me. Ohso, almost forgotten: it is the high performance radio from a T2 Y ou, model year 2015. Best regards Philipp

Auto Image: Comparison test V40 D2/BMW 116d/Ford Focus/Kia Ceed
Today’s car picture includes a comparison test between Volvo V40 D2 Summum, BMW 116d, Ford Focus and Kia Ceed.BMW wins, Kia becomes second, Ford third and Volvo last. I attached the result. The V40 is again equipped with sports suspension and 18″ wheels, which brings comfort disadvantages and is unfair! Also, Volvo gets half as many points in the loss of value as BMW (18 to 9), which I can’t understand at all, especially as according to other newspapers of the Volvo almost so who It’s tstable like BMW/Audi. Apparently Volvo didn’t give the Springer publishing house a donation! What I find remarkable are quality problems with the V40, see last page of my attachment.

Snow chains for V40?
Has anyone ever occupied themselves with the current snow chain offer? In winter I have a 7″ wide 17″ rim with 225/45 tires, according to rim reviews chains up to 9mm are allowed. But when I look at the chain manufacturers I find only little there. The Rud Centrax, the similar Thule K-Summit K23 and as the only normal chain the Thule CK-7 095. Pewag has nothing, with Ottinger you can only look for the tire dimensions, with other manufacturers also miss. No alternatives? Greetings, Olli

V40 Curved artist ?

The good piece I have in mind right now has the 18 customs, which must be my opinion at the CC too, so that it looks good. What about the points 1-3 ? 5. Do I have with the 18 customs officers also the conscious steering stop limiters, so that the shunting anyway ……. /moderate is ?? 6.
