Hello dear HAler. yesterday I brought my 945 Polar (Classic) over the TüV. Renewed all kinds of axles and brakes. Problem: It felt shackled in the rear part at ground unevenness. I quickly found a source and calmed down. The small toolbox at the back right. There was a screwdriver loose and loud with every floor shaft. But there is something else: The friendly one thinks that the exhaust can hit the HA. Can I imagine well, since the asupuff only at the front Is this normal or is there a suspension missing? Who can tell me about the correct suspension of the complete exhaust? Another thing: the electric height adjustment of the headlight on the left front does not work anymore (although you never need … what is the most common cause and where do you get replacement? Greeting Uli

Sale or price presentation 960
Hello friends of the last real Volvos, I wear to sell with the thought of my beloved 960 II, because I need a more off-road and spacious vehicle for my hobby. I drive a 960 II model year 1996 saloon 2.5 170 hp switch (motor B6254FS). The good piece has around 168,000km on the clock and is technically and visually in good condition. Everything runs, every switch works, session, climate, etc. I believe the Volvo has the Ausstat However, I am not sure if it is Couture with driver’s seat memory function, automatic climate control, leather steering wheel, wood on doors and amatures etc. Visually, only the slightly worn leather of the driver’s seat and the interior door covering (well leather on the window intakes) and the one or other scratches can be faulted. All maintenance was carried out to the respective cycles. Many wear parts such as brakes, suspension (or triangle handlebars, no idea, am not v The car drives wonderfully without any problem. Now to my question: I find it hard to find a realistic price. Comparison objects with so few kilometers do not exist in the usual car sales portals. What do you think I could use or know your point of contact or on old Volvos specialized buyers etc. or which sales medium would you use? I am grateful for every suggestion. Christian

Problems – Driver’s footroom wet
Hello people Have just a problem with the Volvo 940 of a known. (Bj 98 121 KW, Automatic, climate to 2 9101 to 3 763) For some time week after week about 200ml of water is missing in the balance tank often fog the windows in the interior and the floor in the driver’s footroom is wet… My suspicion was from the beginning heating cooler/heat exchanger. I tried to read several times in the forum what it might be about and found something with a valve above the pedals and stop the heater cooler /heat exchanger that is supposed to sit above the passenger footroom.. but there it is not wet.. I only saw driver’s footroom on the right that there was a drop of liquid hanging at the exit of the lower ventilation but was not sure if it is not possibly only water and since the side of the carpet was not wet I am not confused… Found the order very strange… Well maybe someone knows indeed guess.. Has someone possibly got an idea like the heat exchanger out of the whole mess or possibly pictures ???

Important questions about the 760 Oldie
Hello, I am since the 1.4 proud owner of a 1983 760GLE (Automatics, 2.8L, 156hp) with 152tkm on the clock. Is my first vintage car but I just wanted the box absolutely and am very satisfied with it. However, there are now and certainly also in the future questions with which I need help. Therefore also my registration in this forum (pictures of the car I added to my profile). The previous owner could not since he sold the car for his mother-in-law not t say whether I have to refuel Superplus and lead replacement or can drive with Super95? Currently I have a consumption of 20L/100km (I try to drive sparingly but somehow everything does not help). I have to say that mostly short distances have been driven in the city. Is this normal or is it not true? In a crack is a small hole that I still have to weld. Could this contribute to the increased consumption? Besides, I had already started twice in wet weather. What could that be and what can I do? Thank you very much in advance! LG Tim

There you find T 244 from 2000 to 15000 € Here a few informations about the car Volvo T 244 First registration 30.4.91 -> one of the last vehicles in D. as far as I have read the correct petrol with 85 KW / 116 hp mileage 380 000 km 1st hand – inherited car stood almost always in the barn. Volvo 245 DL does not start
I bought a Volvo 245 DL with a b21a engine and 107 ps, first registered in 1978. With the round lights in front. Now I bought the Volvo in the Ebay, forwarding company brings the car to me. As soon as it arrived, it doesn’t jump on. Thought it was just on the Shoke, because we didn’t find the lever. Nja later I found it, pulled it, started it, but still doesn’t jump on. At the beginning he did a couple of explosions but didn’t run, sp Rich he comes a few times but when I release the ignition switch he doesn’t run. After a couple of days he didn’t do anything anymore. No matter if give full throttle, pull Shoke, let go of Shoke at the start, he doesn’t do anything anymore. The freight forwarder said the owner drove the Volvo on the truck. So now he can’t miss it so far. He wrote he has a heated garage and he is standing outside with me and has now constantly around the -4 degrees. As we got him it had about 15 degrees. Mu ss has something to do with the carburetor, SU Hif 6. Control times, ignition time, sparks, fuel supply, battery everything is fine. Spark plugs are always wet after starting. And the compression will certainly not be when the Volvo ran at the previous owner. By the way, Tüv still has 1 1/2 years. I looked in the inet once whether there is something to read or if something is known. But I found nothing and therefore promptly registered here. I know too The carburettor is decomposed, but nothing unusual can be seen. (I also tried to turn on the speed screw if it changes something when starting but no chance). In the float is no gasoline, stand is ok, valve is ok. No nozzle stick is oval and not clogged. Needle is springed and I cannot detect any damage. Oil is also enough in it. I really don’t know any more, thought maybe of a repair kit for the carburettor. Gaser, but maybe some of you guys know the problem, would be nice if someone could help me.

Volvo 240 GL. is it worth buying?
Hello community, I am a travel Volvo fan and I found a Volvo 240 GL today on mobile.de. Visually it looks relatively good, it could not visit it yet, but optically it still looks relatively good. The description is unfortunately also a bit poor. Here a link to the car. http://suchen.mobile.de/vehicles/details.html?id=187577842 My question is now: is it worth the purchase?

Swiss special designs at 960?
Hello, I’m not quite new, already had an account in the V70 forum, but it doesn’t work anymore. I finally bought the Volvo, which I’ve always wanted, a 960 combo (2.5/Bj. 95/Automatik). The car has always been registered in Switzerland. I would be interested to know if anyone knows if there were special equipment versions for Switzerland. Because the car has beside the usual chrome strip at the bottom of both sides still an approx. 1 cm wide decorative line (chrom-coloured, but no chrome strip) just below the windows from the rear to the front. Have seen on the internet pictures from 960s, which also have such a decorative line. In addition, at the back of the rear flap below the Volvo and 960 letterings is also such a decorative line plus a very narrow red strip and a sticker. Is this rather “Bastelei” from an earlier owner of the car or was something like that on a possible special model for Switzerland. See photos. Otherwise, the decorating largely corresponds to the “Prestige” version according to 960-model year 1995.
