  • Kaufberatung – Diesel – Petrol – Equipment line

    Hello! My wife wants another car. Currently she drives a VW Tiguan 1.4 TSI Bj. 2011. At the top of her ranking is the XC40. She drives about 13-15 tkm annually. The easy way to her work is 27 km. She drives almost only curvy, hilly country roads. (with us in Southeast Bavaria almost everything is hilly.) All-wheel drive is however not necessary. Important is a good light, automatic, seat heating, parking aid, Navi and an AHK. (this also has the Tiguan). The AHK w For unbraked trailers (garden waste) and for a bicycle stand. We want to spend approx. 30-32 tsd. Euro. What motorization would you recommend? What is the consumption of petrol and diesel? What is the equipment? Is Momentum enough? Automatic transmission is a DKG or a converter transmission? Are there any known problems?

  • VOLVO XC40 T4 Recharge Hybrid Essential – Ticketprinter Action December 2021 – Lack of equipment

    Dear motor talk friends, recently my XC40-leasing car was delivered. This is the ticket printer action from December 2021. When I took over the car I noticed missing features, for which of course I immediately made a complaint. The following features are missing: 1) Active safety – fog lights -> missing 2) Comfort / interior & exterior – interior lighting, extended ambient lighting (white) front -> In the menu of the ride ugs you can adjust the intensity of the ambient light, but unfortunately nothing is done. From my point of view the ambient light is missing. In the current configurator there is an ambient light in white, if one thinks that it is the normal light. – Floor lighting at the front -> missing! – Luggage compartment lighting on both sides -> missing on the right side! – Glove compartment lighting -> missing! 3) Comfort/inside & outside – Warning tone/display for unmounted safety belt in (for all seats) -> is missing for the rear seats. Now I am looking for fellow sufferers to make better pressure if necessary. In addition, I would like to know if there is a possibility to get a list of the really installed features for comparison. At Volkswagen you can get such a list via the FIN with ERWIN (VW information system). Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello together, I am recently the owner of XC40 Recharge Single Core, after I have already read a lot about the equipment here in forums and have found that we did not get the equipment that was actually in the contract, I report with a question to the experienced users. And indeed, there is a cruise control with my model, also an active track holding assistant with steering intervention, also the keys for the distance control are there (without function), but no Distance tempomat. Is there perhaps a software update that unlocks this function? Because the forecasts of the hardware are fulfilled and the car has the appropriate sensor technology and steering, or do I see this wrong?

    Hello C40 Single Motor Friends it would be great if your experiences – as soon as someone got one would be posted. But also everything around the car. How are your delivery times, what says the friendly or tips for newcomers in terms of E-Volvo. I ordered myself a week ago the C40 Single in Thunder Grey with the new reduced Ultimate equipment.   • Voice control

    I noticed some inconsistencies in the voice control. For example, a list of possible (voice) commands is displayed if you don’t understand the system. For example, you can read it as a possible command: [Maria Meier] call But that doesn’t work. It works the other way around, so call [Maria Meier], but not with all entries in the phone book. In the user manual – so that the confusion becomes complete – then the syntax: call [Maria Meier] [ Number category]. What does not work is the operation of the radio/media, e.g. games[Interpret] creates a confused list of titles (e.g. from the connected iPhone), which have nothing to do with the interpreter. I could continue the list now with some examples e.g. from the operation of the air conditioning system (you can only increase the temperature, lower does not work), but spare me that. The whole thing makes me the impression of a beta version….and learn to vocabulary. I don’t feel like it. What are your experiences? Maybe the Swedes tank doesn’t like a Baden accent.

    Hello, I now have a XC40 D4 AWD automatic for a good 9 months, now in winter I have problems with the automatic climate control. The climate is set at 23°C on both sides, after approx.30 min drive the climate starts to cool down insanely, with several measurements it came out that the ventilation temperature is 13 – 15°C and the internal temperature sensor as well as the whole panel around there has a temperature of 30-35°C. Is that normal, at this temperature that comes out there it will be g anz nice cold! The feeler in the interior has already been changed, but did not result in any improvement. Does anyone have the same problem or solution? Thank you
