Most of the people in the last few days have certainly had to deal with above average snow and ice. Some of them certainly also to a larger extent, as in the past years. Now a Volvo XC60 Recharge AWD is certainly not THE designated off-roader or all-wheeler. Nevertheless, one could imagine a little “better”. Why is there no button – either as a physical button – or as a direct access on the medium display, which allows the four wheel at Bedar f is able to switch fast and uncomplicated when a situation requires it. An example: I am in hybrid mode – as in 90% of all cases. Must have a light, snow-covered slope up backwards. Rear drive spins almost immediately. I didn’t see it like this. Must stop first. Rear camera is switched on. First, it has to be switched off to get into the driving modes via the menu (gear symbol) and then there for the situation “Constant AWD” to This is not necessarily possible when the first attempt is made, because the rear-view camera repeatedly “presses in between”. If you finally managed the situation with four-wheel (and ease), the whole thing has to be changed to “Hybrid”. I think Volvo could have come up with a more practical solution here.

XC60 2 Leasing conditions
Good day, following the rest of the forums, I have been allowed to create a corresponding collection thread. After expensive Volvo trailers and a foreseeable arrival at Mercedes, Volvo has brought me back with the new cars. Therefore, I ask for your experiences and tips for good dealers. For various reasons I will probably consider a private leasing. Driving performance between 20k and 25k km per year. Vehicle price will be around 56k. Vss. it will be the D4. someone may already have a feeling on what terms it will run out of? Merci!

Temporary failure of the brake power amplifier??
When I only had my new XC60 for a few days, I noticed once (unpleasantly) that the car could hardly be braked after the start (and instead the electric motor still pushes a little bit). About as if the brake power amplifier was without function. The pedal feeling is like stepping on a concrete block. The whole thing was just like that after the start. Even after 5-10m everything was “normal”. I then at first somehow “dumped” it or in the contact But now – months later – it happened to me repeatedly within a few days. I start the car and want to slowly get out of a parking space and you have the feeling that you can’t slow down the car despite the slightest speed. You have to put your entire body weight on the brake pedal. In the meantime, I don’t feel it’s just “uncomfortable” anymore, but also potentially dangerous, because of the situation. n – when it comes – comes as a surprise and then it may not always be fast enough to get enough weight on the brake pedal. Especially if you are in a parking space that does not give you enough space for a slow braking manoeuvre. If it comes, it is irrelevant whether the car has been standing for 2 hours or 2 days before. I actually have the impression that something is wrong here with the brake power amplifier. I will soon – if the first annual inspection soon has anyone already experienced something like this?

2024: The End of Diesel Vehicles at Volvo
Actually, it was no longer a secret, but the current model year 2024 will be the last model year in which Volvo will offer vehicles with diesel engines (formerly D-engines, most recently as Mildhybrid with B-addition). In some models there are already no diesels available today, this will then affect all models. At the beginning of 2024 (i.e. at the end of the MY24) the diesel engine will no longer be offered. Some models are based on purely electric successor models, the previous models will then be offered as gasoline/plugin_hybrid – this can already be seen today as EX90 or XC90. The same scheme will then also apply to the other models in the coming years.https://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/ (I mirrored this post in the subforums of the current 90s, 60s and 40s series)

Winter tyres for V60 (2019)
Hello, I bought a Volvo V60 BJ 2019 about a month ago and am now looking for suitable winter tyres. Currently I have Pirelli summer tyres in the dimension 235/45 R18 98W on it. If I look around now in the various online shops for winter tyres in this dimension I find with some at all no tyres or very few to me unknown brands. From the information in my registration certificate I do not get quite clever. Here are so many different, partly in komis The current summer tyres have the speed index W = (270km/h maximum speed). The maximum speed of the V60 indicated in the registration certificate is 220km/h. Would it therefore not be possible or permissible to install tyres which have the speed index V = 240km/h maximum speed? I would not have a P roblem more to find a suitable winter tire. I come by the way from Austria, this should be important for this case to know. LG firebb

Decision support XC60 T6 Plus Recharge vs. B4 AWD Plus Diesel
Hello to the forum. Stand just before the decision which Fhzg. at the moment would be the right thing for a delivery in 03.2023. Especially with regard to the Bafa condition from 2023 I am very uncertain what would be better now, XC60 T6 Plus Recharge or B4 AWD Plus Diesel. In the hope of getting some thoughts or other things from you, already thank you in advance.

Is someone using Alexa to start the heater here in the forum?
If someone is using FHEM / IOBroker / etc. to start the heating of his elk with Alexa? I had tried my luck in the FHEM Forum, there is also a thread, but I don’t get any feedback there. The aim of the action is to tell Alexa that she should start the heating of my XC60. And please: Who finds the silly thing, can’t live at all or feels like stepping on the slips otherwise, because someone wants to use a cookie can to start his heater…. just read this thread.

Determine the share of electrical use
My employer tells me that I have to drive at least 30% electric with the Hybrid-V60. But what is creepy for me: How does he or I want to measure this? The Volvo app indicates in the travel book the consumption by liters and kWh – but I can’t yet get a (evidenceable) bill. Has someone already had experiences with this or does anyone know a formula with which to calculate it? – You notice: Math is ́not my thing…

Rearview camera with built-in 360 ° camera
Hello, I recently bought a used XC60 with a built-in 360° camera. Now I have a question about the rear camera. I often get the car with the four camera symbols when inserting R and then I select the camera at the rear accordingly. I get a split screen from camera view (to the rear) at the bottom of the screen and in the upper part of the screen the car is shown with the distance sensors. But now it happened from time to time that I also got the rear camera in full screen mode directly when driving back. And I have not yet understood or can find out how I can adjust this or influence it. I also did not find a corresponding hint in the operating instructions or in the forum. The entire software levels of the car should actually be up to date. I would have liked to have the back camera in full screen mode as a standard setting when inserting R and if necessary I would switch to the 360 degree camera. The distance warnings for the rear are also displayed as a beam in the camera view. So I don’t need the split screen in this case somehow for your help.
