Hello, I’ve been driving a Discovery sport for 4 years. The vehicle is going back now and it has to be something new. I can now take an XC60 or Discovery sport for exactly the same amount. I was very happy with the vehicle but driving the same vehicle again would not be a new attraction. In my well-known circle everyone feels the Land Rover brand of higher quality than Volvo. Do you see that as well? OK, the question in a Volvo forum may be a bit difficult.

Consumption XC60 B5 Mildhybrid AWD
Hello all, can you please give me your gasoline consumption? City country highway 130 km/h I drive with a felt too high consumption. On average 10 liters, am not a rascal… Thanks.

B&W speaker cover makes noises
I was really happy when my new XC60 2 was finally free of flaps and knarz noises. Now, after half a year, it starts here as well: the silver loudspeaker covers of the B&W system (in the two front doors) clutter. In basses the apertures are significantly louder than the music, and even at medium volume. Depending on the road surface, the squeaking can also be heard continuously during the ride – in case of unevenness anyway – even though the music is off. The most annoying thing is with audio books, because the mostly male speakers constantly cause the covers to clutter. The peculiarity is that the apertures are absolutely fixed on the outside. There is definitely a temperature dependence: when the car is warm, it is clearly worse. My friend says the problem is known, and there is also an official remedy from Volvo against it. Various parts of the door panel were replaced, however, and that is my problem: with exactly 0 success. The repair has absolutely nothing to do with the noise of the speaker.

Leasing vehicle is picked up by the lessor!?
Hello, in September our lease of the V60 ends. The new car (no Volvo) comes ‘unfortunately’ already in July and can not be pushed further backwards (VW). I now had contact with the dealer regarding the return of the Volvo and he told me that the car goes back directly to the lessor. So Volvo/Santander contacted and the man on the phone said that despite payment of the instalments until the end no early return was possible. The car is also brought back on its own axis. The return order is triggered only after the last installment of the last rate. Did any of you have such a thing already and must the Volvo still be mandatory? Most insurances give only 60 days of leeway. There is probably only the SF discounts on the new one and the Volvo with the SFs for the rest of the time completely new and very poorly classified. Does so, or does that make it? I was clear at contract conclusion that the costs for the return are included in the instalments, but it was not clear that the car goes back to the dispensing dealer. Thank you.

S60 B4 mild hybrid does not start !
Hello together, last Thursday I proudly took over my first Volvo from a used car dealer. A R Design S60 in black with only 10800km from 1st hand. I drove with it then about 250km. Today I wanted to leave early, but unfortunately in vain. The ignition went on, but the car did not start any more. Then Volvo Assistance informed me and sent me the ADAC. Unfortunately, however, it could not do anything, because the S60, despite battery booster, did not jump any more. So towing to the next Volvo dealer, after a short time I got the diagnosis that a control board for the hybrid drive is defective. Repair approx. 2000€!!! The warranty of Volvo pays nothing, because the 1st customer service since 3/2022 is overdue. One has to say that the car has not been moved since 3/2022 and he probably stood for a 9 months. It was a former hire of a company. So I bought the car, of course, I immediately agreed an appointment to meet the customer service since 3/2022. One must say that the car has not been moved since 3/2022 and he probably stood for a 9 months. It was a former hire of a car dealer. But then I should have been used?

Air suspension XC 60 II holds how much KM?
Hello colleagues, how much KM keeps the air suspension in the XC 60? Does this also have to be maintained? No terrain rides and 20 inch wheels. Please ask for your experiences ;-).

Android Automotive – Route planning Google Maps
Hello in the forum, I think it might be quite useful to start a topic about Google Maps in general and route planning in particular… In my brand new XC40 (Recharge Pure Electric Long Range MY24) the Google Maps version 23.10.030000.E is installed and I find no way to enter intermediate destinations, to move these targets as needed and then to have such a “route menu” calculated with the necessary charging stops. So I can only enter a route from A to B, which he then calculates to me in its entirety… It can’t be that one has to rely on the mobile phone and apps like ABRP or Chargemap for a more detailed route planning! In the Google Maps standard version (PC) this goes with the intermediate destinations and the shift… Because I have read in several contributions from this intermediate destination and shift function, ask me if there is anything missing or if the lack of this possibility is perhaps related to the fact that I am in France…?

Year-round tyre recommendation XC60 II
The day before yesterday I ordered an XC60 II T6 recharge MY 2022, as posted in the collection thread “XC60 II!” I get the standard 19″ rims and have Lufa. Because here in north-east NL the winters are getting warmer, there was only a few days really snow in February, and mostly the rhinestones wet/dry/rare some mud are at 0-10 gr. C, I think all-year tires. And Bergen there is not at all (unfortunately). Have already been looking for here in the forum but there were also specific problems with cross grooves etc. I would like to hear experiences regarding comfort, noise and above all driving behaviour with all year round tires. Up to now, I have noticed, purely theoretic, the Michelin Crossclimate + SUV positive. Please here no discussion about advantages and disadvantages, had so far always summer and winter tires and am aware of the whole-year tire a compromise.

Listen to music via a USB stick in the Volvo XC60.
Hi, someone can give me a hint how to play my music files in the Volvo XC60 via a USB stick. On the USB stick folders are created, but the sensus does not recognize. The problem has already been addressed here in the forum, but I did not understand the solutions. Maybe someone who explains it to me like the mouse earlier. Also gladly on the audio track by phone. Thank you in advance Dirk
