Hello, last week I picked up my T8 in o.a. color. It was a service car from Volvo from Cologne. The dealer (Volvo) confirmed to me a paint repair in the bumper area (back) in the course of the preparation (nothing wild). There is also not to be seen. At the pick-up I also noticed nothing else in the delivery hall. Today (after a few days of rain weather) I see in the left wheel box area: 1. A yellow shimmering area above the wheel bar (coating wings). and. 2. that the entire wheel bar is clearly darker. I hope you can see this on the pictures. If someone has a clue as above all the point 1 could have come about. At point 2 I can only imagine that the bar has been completely changed and here color softens come to wear. However, with the latter I see no reason why the friend should hide this from me. Thank you for your help!

Hello, I’m working on an XC90 Momentum. Looking for sun protection for the offspring, I’ve stumbled over the option point “Sunrollos for the rear side windows (integrated)”. In the case of a “Sonnenrollo integrated”, I would have thought of a rollo integrated up and down in the side door, so I know that for example from VW Touran, Ford SMAX or Galaxy etc. In the configurator there is to the “Rollo” (what rolls there actually?) a small video, in which a “net insert” for the rear side window is depicted, which you have to click in, almost in very similar configuration as in my old XC70. Is there really no technical progress in 10 years? Interestingly, there is also the combination Rollo not with the fabric seats desired by the god mate, so you have to select leather, in order to get the apparently not rolling roller blinds?!!! Can someone tell me therefore, whether this really is integrated with the one in the year 2016 rather embarrassing version of the masterpiece.

Hello Together, I picked up my XC90 T8 yesterday from the workshop. He was, among other things, because I have the feeling that the park sensors sometimes appeal strangely. I have a gate entrance with metal gate (2 wings). On the left and right is not really much space (will measure after time), and as well as NIE there are acoustic signals (but is activated) and also rarely any red bars in the display. When I stand on the property then he starts to warn at the 70cm high bush at the entrance, although it should be as far away as the gate when passing….. They have made a software update on the respective control unit and meant it. At home, unfortunately, the same behavior. Now unfortunately I do not know if it is possible normal, because of the gate, because sometimes they also seem normal to address can one at the sensitivity still set anything? Otherwise was on the bill still “totalupgrade XC9”. Probably other devices were updated, because the station changes (UKW) is now significantly faster!

I’d like to break a lance for the diesel that I’ve had after various test drives. We’ve been driving our D5 for 2 days and now 300km on the short break. The little motörchen gets along perfectly with the big car. Despite my limitation to speeds of up to 3000 tours, I’m enthusiastic. Power away from the start, virtually no starting weakness. Even overtaking on the country road goes without big speed orgies. In combination with the undoubtedly perfect 8 gear transmission, the engine turns only about 2500 tours at 160 km/h and is extremely quiet.

Hello together today our new XC90 (in this model year now with faux leather armature board) arrived at the dealer. Was totally enthusiastic – until I sat on the passenger seat and discovered a hole (about 2 pin heads) large in the faux leather of the dashboard. Couldn’t take any photos yet, the hole sits on the edge, above the right airflower. My dealer immediately offered the replacement of the dashboard. I had thought of Smart Repair first, but he thought that you would definitely see it. He wanted to hand over the car to me and then change the dashboard soon. But don’t take over the car before the repair! Question is now what you should do? The hole with 2 – 3 mm diameter is really in a prominent place and the whole upper is away at the point, one sees the plastic underneath. Not at all would be disproportionate. If Smart Repair is actually not perfect, only the replacement of the dashboard remains. What do you think, can so go without consequential damage over the stage? My dealer sure to me that………..

Moin, the Vendée Globe is just turning into a gripping finale, as the Volvo Ocean Race 2017 PR is already running warm – the actual regatta is starting in October. Does any of you have any information about whether there will be an Ocean Race Edition of the V90 and when? In recent years the iirc has always been announced in January/February and was then available with model year change (summer). Dear Volvo driver, I’m unfortunately no longer a Volvo driver since yesterday. Yesterday morning my XC90 II was stolen directly from my front door. It looks like professionals – no tracks, probably the signal of the Keyless Go key was picked up through the front door, Volvo On Call no longer works or vehicle cannot be located. My travel book plug from the Vimcar still tells me that the last ride ended in Poland at 7 o’clock in the morning. At the specified address of course no track from the car. As a warning for everyone: don’t leave your keys near the front door. Put them in a tin can or whatever. Greeting, Alex

Since June 21 we have bought an XC 90 Mildhybrid diesel as a demonstration car with 900km (EZ February 21) By September everything was as expected completely problem-free, at the beginning of September on the highway suddenly on the display a turtle will be displayed and warning “Warning, reduced engine power “. Car then towed, diagnosis in the repair shop: a rather pronounced engine damage. It was explained to me so that a pump would be imploded and the individual parts sucked in from the engine then and would have spread in it. Engine then completely disassembled, the most different defective parts replaced, after four weeks we then got the car again. Repair of course on guarantee. Now I have the following problem, the car consumes now considerably more than before the repair. However, now the winter is not affected, we have winter tires at the top, the temperatures are frosty again here in Vienna, therefore I am still uncertain if it is actually due to the repair.

Good morning, I’d be interested in which of you uses one or more smartwatches in combination with the Volvo on Call system. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to find many or current infomrations on the Internet. On youtube, there aren’t many videos on it. Above all, it’s not so easy to find a smartwatch that is suitable or compatible. As far as I know, the Apple Watch. However, since I don’t use Apple systems, this falls away. My Gear S3 is unfortunately not compatible (since the operating system is not Android). It’s also only suitable for watches from Android 4.0 onwards. (I would have understood that at least) I found out that there’s a cooperatioin with Volvo and the Microsoft (fitness) band which makes it possible to send the functions to its Volvo via voice commands. Unfortunately, the production of this band has been discontinued due to poor sales figures…. PS: it’s not about the necessity or sensibility of the functions or I know that I can also control these functions via the mobile phone via app. I’m just looking for such gadgets and would like the function.
