Hello, I’m just about to order a new company car. I want an SUV and also need some space for family and dog. Since the leasing rates for the XC90 are very cheap at least with our suppliers, my budget would also be enough for an XC90, although I initially had the XC60 in mind (which unfortunately has become somewhat outdated in some things). Especially inside I find the XC90 great, but somehow I can’t get used to the size. First of all, it’s the pure dimensions of the vehicle and the difficulties associated with it (inside town, parking garage, etc.), but I also simply disturb myself with the decadence of the dimensions. Despite the pleasing design, this is somehow incompatible with “understatement”, which actually always stood for the Volvo brand. Am I the only one with this “problem”? I just don’t want to notice negatively with the thickest car far and wide on the road (yes, the Q7 is still a little longer, but I think that’s what I mean). By the way, I like the new V90. While I didn’t like the V70, the new V70, the whole new V90.

T8 and electronic logbook
I don’t want to get rid of this for 100 reasons: 1-99: It only runs under Windows on the Mac and is ….something oldbacken. So operating system and software. 2. Since afterwards it is changeable at any time and without logging the purpose of the journey, it does NOT correspond to the requirements of the tax office. A newer version fixes that probably, but could not be installed. All cheap solutions are only computer-based solutions, where you have to carry everything together on the computer. So you can save yourself. In order to get rid of the platform, it should be a web-based solution with app for the iphone, which corresponds to all strict specifications. So I hit Vimcar – a startup from Berlin -. 899€ brutto without follow-up costs. Another world, no installation costs, simply dongel in OBD socket, register and off it goes of course. Super! Then the big disappointment: It apparently only works in the mode HYBRID. Rides I start in PURE, a hotly burn, now the situation doesn’t run? And now the fleet is well done.

Workshop appointment over the vehicle
Moin, I couldn’t find anything about the SuFu: My vehicle says I should make an appointment for annual maintenance. So I clicked on it and I’m going to go. I thought… It comes the message that I should connect the vehicle to my Volvo ID (I actually did, I pay for the VOC). Then comes the message that the vehicle is connected now and I can use all services. If I want to make an appointment then comes the message that I should connect the vehicle to my Volvo ID…. Also a reconnecting brought no solution. What am I doing wrong? OK, I could also call the workshop. But why do something in 2 minutes with a phone call if you can make it fully automatically online in several hours. Best greetings from the most beautiful city in the world! Lars

Insurance for the XC90, especially T8
I just got the offer of my insurance for the T8 and had to notice an increase of approx. 50% 100% compared to my current XC60. *autsch* He has more performance, higher BLP and is new. Is therefore basically plausible. Nevertheless I have two questions: 1. Does someone have up-to-date information about the planned cooperation between Volvo and the alliance?”Allianz is new insurance partner of Volvo / Cooperation starts April 2016 / To start: Insurance action for Sickle ” 2. Alternatively: Does any of you have particularly good recommendations for an insurer that prices the security functions of the XC90 and offers good quality at a good price? Driver profile and lumbar support
Hello together, I have the problem with my V90 T6 (Bj 2018) that the adjustment of the lumbar vertebrae support is not stored in the driver profile. Every time I enter the car, the position is adjusted again. I can start the correct position if I restore the stored setting by sitting memory (so keep the switch “1” pressed at the door). But it makes me crazy so slowly that I have to do it again every time. I also don’t know what to do. nn the lumbar support actually drives into the wrong position. It doesn’t happen when the vehicle is switched off. It can’t be when entering. Therefore, only immediately after the lock or at some point in time remains in the stand. I have already tried to decouple the profile from the key again, but that didn’t help. The behavior is starting to drive me crazy. V90CC makes rattling sounds from the rear axle
Hello, I’ve been hearing creaking sounds from behind for a few days now. Those who have little children might know it: just like this nerve part in the appendix, but not so loud. It can be reproduced when I slowly drive narrow curves, e.g. in and out of the roundabout. So it seems to have to do with the wheel speed difference. Deutes possibly to the differential. Today I was with the friendly, who also spontaneously got in and – tata – also heard it. But an explanation has he doesn’t, guesses Differential or Haldex. Will be extensively investigated soon, but an appointment is only available at the beginning of December. Has someone else heard such a noise on his vehicle or any other relevant information? Activate Volvo on call
Moin together, I’m going to be aff… Have a used XC90 (12/2015), which tells me at the start, Volvo on call is disabled I should turn to the friendly one. Said. You didn’t really know if it was already activated before (then it can only be the selling dealer). My objection with d set, it should be online in 10 minutes. In my opinion, nothing has arrived. Air conditioning is not getting really warm…
Moin yesterday the first long track with the new XC90. It was noticeable that despite setting the air conditioning to 22°C it cooled after about 50km. From the nozzles in the center console came cool air. After raising the temperature to 24°C it got better at short notice, afterwards cool air from the nozzles to the right and left of the steering wheel/sensus again. Is that normal? I thought that makes it permanently nice snoozely warm to 22°C. Or a case for the friendly? Thanks The things

Variation of images Side camera – Rearview camera at 360 degree view
With my XC90, the pictures of the side cameras show a clear deviation from the image of the rear camera in the common view. So they are not completely overlapping in the overlapping areas but a width of edged stone apart. That’s a bit irritating when parking. My question: Is that the same with you? LFOTP protective film for Volvo S90 2017 / V90 2017 / XC90 2016-2017 8.7 inch navigation system https://www.amazon.de/dp/B071X8CXJD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_orE9AbK900A06 Unfortunately, I’m totally dissatisfied. Is it real glass feeling, but have the feeling that it currently reflects even more. DACH open and you can see nothing more on the display. Fingerprints are as before visible…. Have your recommendation? Antireflex and Antifingerprint…someone the original e film from Volvo on it? P.s. you can no longer see the coating from the original display (flame shimmering). Thank you
