Dear forum, since I have not been active in this forum for some time now, first a hello and a short introduction to the Volvo history: after 740, 760, C70 1 and currently XC60 (in between other brands ;-)) comes in June a V90. Unfortunately, I could not find an answer to my question so far, if the V90 has a separation net to the trunk. My XC60 has a net, which can not be pulled out, but is stored in the trunk floor. Sensible road contact in the steering wheel
Hello everybody, for a few days I have felt that I perceive the nature of the road more strongly through the steering wheel. To be more precise: From a speed of about 90 km/h I feel clearly how the steering wheel transfers the nature of the road to my hands. After about 25 kilometers of driving on the highway I notice that this feeling from the steering wheel resounds in my hands. XC90, T8, MJ 2024 1,300 KM on the clock Do you have similar experiences? ke in advance for your feedback 🙂

Volvo V90 T8 squeak when switching gasoline <--> Electric
Moin dear people, I turn to you because I’m really desperate by now. I’ve been driving a Volvo V90 T8 with Polestar Bj.2020 It’s a mega cool car and I really love it very much, but one thing is really annoying to me. When the air is dry outside (winter and summer) I have it very often when switching between petrol and battery or also around a short squeaking from outside under the car (feeling from the rear B) ereich) that’s very annoying in the city and also a bit uncomfortable. I was already at 2 Volvo dealers and one of them was always trying in my opinion and very ambitious about problems but here I get to hear from both of them that it is normal. I get so excited about it because 1. this statement just isn’t true, because it’s not my first T8 (before S60 T8) and 2. just to meet this statement without listening or looking at it all I just find n I thought before I went to the next Volvo dealer, I’d ask if someone might have had this problem before or if one of you knows it. I can’t make a video of it because you don’t listen to it, but when you hear it, it’s really always when you switch and I can reproduce it when it’s particularly bad even in the stand by switching from Polestar to Hybrid mode and then the engine is turned off (that’s what I’ve done). e i found out a few days ago). Music via USB in Volvo with Sensus
Hello, my dealer is actually threatening delivery. I would like to play a USB stick with music, because I don’t want to bang my phone full. I have questions about this: Does Sensus Connect recognize a file structure? Will the album cover be displayed on the display? Do I have to pay attention to something? Thanks for the answers.

DAB+ / fm commit fails with HR after transmitter conversion
Hello, in my V90 MJ2020 early the sensus audio system is installed. At the DAB+reception of hr3 the system switched to the underground car park (no DAB+ reception, but VHF goes) always reliably on fm. When leaving then back to DAB+, unfortunately because of the not completely synchronous signals (or because of a different signal processing in the device) always with a slight time offset. Since the Hessian radio has regionalized its DAB+ transmitters a few weeks ago permanently , there was hr3 as superordinate, nationwide station no longer to be found at first. In the DAB+ channel list I then had to record the new station hr3 middle-hessen in the favorites. So far, so good, but… … now the switching to fm does not work anymore. When I drive into the underground garage, I see only a helpless rotating ringel with the text message ‘no reception’. A switch to fm happens e.g. at ffh still without problems, but with the stations of the hr no longer . Why? Can this be due to any settings in my system? The DAB/DAB and DAB/fm handover are both enabled in the options. I had already contact with the hr, which explained to me that some radios do not conform to the standard the alternative FM frequencies sent in the DAB+ data stream ignore and e.g. search for the same station name of the RDS information. If this is also done sensus and instead of the alternative frequencies now searches for hr3 means, the fm-Prog But only hr3 means, then of course nothing can be found. Is that just the case with me? Who still has the same problems with the regionalized hr or other channels? Are there any suggestions for solutions? Thank you for your help André

Volvo V90 Loading hatch Gas pressure spring
Hello, I have a Volvo V90 T6 MY2024. At the loading hatch/bottom in the trunk, it only has a rope to hold the floor up and not the gas pressure spring like the first models. The holes for mounting are available. The spare part can be ordered. Only questionable how the gas pressure damper is mounted. (Screws, thread retrofit etc.) So can someone provide me with information here, so I can retrofit it? Also photos, maybe I can read it out. ank. Mini keys – how long does the battery last?
I have been using only the mini key for my vehicle for 2 1/4 years. Now I have repeated a message in the control display that the battery level is low, and I have to pull the door handle repeatedly or step very close until the vehicle opens. I mean the Volvo actually stated the lifetime at three years, but just can’t find the info. A spare key costs around 200 € and my dealer refuses to use the W guess now I actually have to use the regular key for the last few months, which I find unbelievably impractical. Does anyone have any experience about this? — Instructions can be found in the FAQ: https://www.motor-talk.de/faq/volvo-xc90-2-v90-2-q204.html?… Short version: I changed the battery of the Key Tag with approx. 20 Euro, everything works perfectly. Volvo calculates for an exchange 220 Euro. If you can solder yourself, you can push the cost to 5 Euro for the replacement battery.

XC90 T8 Built 2021; Charger “falls” and eventually becomes defective
Hello! Unfortunately I have a problem again, this time with the charging. I used a Tesla charger (UMC 2) on a red 3-phase 16A socket for the Volvo, about 1 year without problems. At some point it started that the charger temporarily crashed. It had to be taken off the power regularly, then it ran again. About 2 months ago the charger then completely goodbyed. Ok, was 4 years old, can happen (I thought). So the same device at Tesla new best And now, within a few weeks, I have the same problem. My analysis has revealed the following: – Volvo with Tesla charger on socket 1 –> Problem – Volvo with Tesla charger on socket 2 –> Problem – Tesla with Tesla charger –> No problem Logical explanation: the car is the problem! 🙁 I noticed that the Volvo is always fully charged and apparently crashes the charger at the end of the charging process. When I did not have a second charger for 2-3 weeks, I have the V olvo loaded with my eGo-Charger. There were no difficulties. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you! Hannes

Gear problems
Hello Community , have a Volvo V90 bj 2023 automatic with 127k kilometers . For 2 days I have got a transmission problem . The car switches as soon as you get a little faster starting drive into the gear emergency run . When driving it makes itself noticeable that the speed increases but the car does not really accelerate . After everyone gets out of the error message . However, after fast driving comes back . Gear oil was changed 14 days ago at the friendly one and was also checked today. I have the feeling that between switching from the 3rd in the 4th gear the problem exists.
