Hello, unfortunately I found nothing in the search function. It’s about the following. I drive a V90 T8 from 07/2018 (Mj 2019) and a mileage of approx. 22,000km. I have the car since May 2020. For about a month my range of the battery indicator drops after a fully charged battery. When I had the car fully charged, the battery showed a range of 39km in hybrid mode. Towards the end of June, the range indicator sank after a fully charged battery to 38km in hybrid mode. Now towards the end of July, after a fully charged battery 37km is displayed. The car stands in a large garage with two cars. My question is, does someone have the same phenomenon or is the battery defective? I find it strange, because LG.

Callback Diesel models 500,000 vehicles
Volvo calls back half a million diesel models worldwide Because the intake manifold could overheat and cause a fire in the engine compartment. In the series V40, V40CC, S60, S60CC, V60, V60CC, XC60, V70 (photo), XC70, S80, S90, V90, V90CC and XC90 from different model years between 2014 and 2019, the intake manifold made of plastic could overheat and thereby deform, the speaker explained the measure. A lighting up of the engine warning light, a motor failure or poor performance were the potential consequences. “In the worst case, there is the possibility that a locally limited engine compartment fire can occur. In addition, an optimization of the cooling system of the exhaust gas recirculation (AGR) is planned. In Germany, these works differ according to the model and engine. According to our information, this includes a software update for the engine control. It is intended to alleviate the problem of an excessive noise development in the aggregate. Moreover, an optimization of the exhaust recirculation (AGR) is planned.

Volvo V90 wheel/tire combination
Moin, I bought a V90 D4 AWD from 2017 and would like to strap on it for the summer 20 inches. Does a 9×20 ET40 rim fit with 255/35 r20 without any problems or do I have to work on something? Can you also pull 245/35 on it? The report says that you have to do something with 255 on the fender and 245/35 is not allowed to process.

Sensus Navi in XC90
I want to open up a new topic about the Sensus Navi. I’m concerned about the technical possibilities, such as including the Aps etc. I’m not a Volvo driver yet, but I want to become one. So here’s my first question: Does anyone already know a way to include a speed camera alarm?? With my wife’s Renault with TomTom Carminat, the one is included in the live package. That’s really great and if I buy a new car, of course, should have that too. I’ve already asked the salesman at Volvo in Cologne, but he still had no idea if you can plug in an SD card or something with POIs somewhere. …So someone already knows about the Sensus or knows a skillful way to install Aps like iCoyote afterwards? Thanks and many greetings from Cologne

Factory collection – Volvo Factory Delivery Experience
Hello together, when I ordered my V90 in November, I also asked if Volvo offers a factory collection. At that time it was said that there is no factory collection. Today, however, I discovered the Factory Delivery Experience program on the Volvo website – consisting of flight to Gothenburg, shuttle service to the hotel, 3-course menu, the following day shuttle service to Volvo, there factory inspection, lunch and – last but not least – delivery of the new car. Has anyone tried the program already? Do you know any details, also about the costs? My dealer must first inform himself. Many greetings Alexander PS: My V90 should come at the end of February, beginning of March – or just me to him…

Gear damage
Good day. I’ve been driving Volvo since 2009 and I’ve already leased some models, including V70 and XC60. I’m currently driving my second XC90, it’s a B5 diesel. I’m very happy with the car so far, would say it’s my best Volvo ever. I’m driving about 22,000 km a year, of which 75% long distance. My Volvo has run around 90,000 km. A few weeks ago I heard a kind of howling or buzzing at the time of giving gas. The Volvo has been in the workshop since the beginning of the week, and now it says that the transmission is over. It has to be replaced and because the spare parts situation is difficult at the moment, it can all take a good three weeks. Blöd, I wanted to ride with the car on vacation tomorrow. The Volvo statements irritate me. Therefore, my questions here in this forum: Is this normal that the gearbox in a mature premium vehicle like the XC90 is broken after only 90,000 km? Does it deal with a known problem and is therefore perhaps a case for the culanz? What do you need to repair?

Android Automotive – Route planning Google Maps
Hello in the forum, I think it might be quite useful to start a topic about Google Maps in general and route planning in particular… In my brand new XC40 (Recharge Pure Electric Long Range MY24) the Google Maps version 23.10.030000.E is installed and I find no way to enter intermediate destinations, to move these targets as needed and then to have such a “route menu” calculated with the necessary charging stops. So I can only enter a route from A to B, which he then calculates to me in its entirety… It can’t be that one has to rely on the mobile phone and apps like ABRP or Chargemap for a more detailed route planning! In the Google Maps standard version (PC) this goes with the intermediate destinations and the shift… Because I have read in several contributions from this intermediate destination and shift function, ask me if there is anything missing or if the lack of this possibility is perhaps related to the fact that I am in France…?

Vimcar – battery empty at speedometer 205
Hello, I didn’t come far with my new one. Today, at 205km of speedometer I parked the car at the office at 8 o’clock. At 16 o’clock nothing went at all. Helpline sent the ADAC. The battery still had a whole 6 volts. And that, after yesterday I was just 100km with it. The workshop thinks that a control unit does not drive down. An update was played up. The car also makes an unusual noise. I had already noticed that the 2 hours after turning off still buzzs out of the engine room. Now I got the thick one back home. Over night it hangs on the power grid, closed and with a closed hood and without using the app it drives down with it. An hour after turning off, however, it still buzzed. So the second time is rather a question of time. Weekend I leave the completely standing. Then on Monday I know what’s going on. Let’s go well with my first Volvo. Let’s hope it’s not a Monday car. After the last A4 and 3 months of trouble I’ve not had a look at it?

Recharge operation
Hi people, drive now since 09/21 a 22er V90 T6 Recharge. Until now I could not read the function yet. I am interested e.g. when I start electric, drive on the highway, power out, then the burner jumps on… From the beginning the heater runs with. Does the burner warm up already or does the burner jump cold? On hybrid that would be massively cold starts. With the old start-stop systems, the engine only went out when it was warm. If I drive purely electric, then the heater always runs with or? Only then can I explain the extreme smell if I drive purely electric. So completely I did not understand the functioning of the plug-in hybrid. the consumption is at least at the same level as the predecessor V90CC without Recharge. Many greetings Robert

Experiences V90 D5 Maximum speed / Unbalance/brake scrubbing
Hello Volvo fans! I drive a V90 D5 R design (my first Volvo) and wanted to ask what your vehicles show as a top speed to Tacho. Mine is with 21 inch factory wheels and he even has the Polestar optimization on 240 hp. Basically I am very happy with the car. What annoys me is that it is very difficult from 200 kmh. It is entered with 240 kmh but it only manages after a long start about 230 kmh. Also mountain under there hardly anything. Of course you drive these speeds not often, but at night when it is free and it does not pose any risk then I can run what is going on. What are your experiences? Please don’t tell me that it doesn’t really matter whether the vehicle runs 230 kmh or 240 kmh. That’s not my question. Besides, since I bought always unbalance/vibration in the vehicle from about 110 kmh. And the steering wheel flutters when braking on the highway and it makes brake noises. Do you have this problem too? By repeatedly balancing out, the wheel is not switched from the front of the bike. And thanks to the rear!
