Brightness 360° View vs Rearview camera in Sensus middisplay at dark
How is that with you: Outside dark, reverse gear in and already the 360° view in the middle display goes on. Unfortunately, in contrast to daylight there is not much to watch, so to park not to use. If I switch on (only) return camera, I can park with it also in darkness, there are much more details, like curb edges, flatstone joints, etc. to see. Sensus crashes
I have been driving my new one since December and unfortunately I still have to fight more with crashes/reboots from the Sensus. Sometimes I have the impression that they occur again more often (every few days) after a few weeks of rest in the meantime. The workshop had already made a SW-complete update, but unfortunately also did not really help. Is there any news or information about these connections? Usually the crashes occur shortly after starting what happens before a It is difficult to park without cameras and beeps. In addition, the Internet connection seems to be lost. The latter has led to the fact that the respective journey was “swallowed” in the VOC.

Impression: Volvo V90 CC B5 Ultimate
Hello together, yesterday we had the opportunity to drive a V90 CC B5 Ultimate MJ 2023 with the former R-design seats, air suspension rear and 21 inch tyres with Pirelli PZero Vol PNCS for a good hour test. This should or should help me in my decision for or against a new car (change from V90 D5 AWD Inscription MJ 2020). Hazards we are a short distance on the highway, quite a lot of highway and city with changing road surfaces incl. cobblestone The V90 CC makes a lot of visuals and the facelift with the new rear lights and other small changes I like in reality even better than what I have seen on pictures or videos so far. Even the fact that there are no real exhaust blinds in spite of the burners no longer bothers me. Unfortunately, I find the Volvo has removed many functions in the current operating system very unfortunate. I can hurt the driving modes. I see the sailing/coasting in Eco mode as a great tool to drive sparingly and thus to emit less CO2. However, I lack the possibility to switch between Speed Limiter/ACC/PA directly on the steering wheel. What the developers have thought about is foreign to me. I can certainly get used to everything else. Google Maps and the voice control is definitely a step forward. Let’s get to the engine: Why always run the B4/B5 diesel of the current I can’t tell how much this is due to the fact that we only drive V-Power Diesel or HVO Diesel. What my wife and I noticed: At about 30km/h and light pressure on the accelerator pedal in the city to keep the speed up, the Volvo sounds like someone in the neighborhood is working two more houses with the impact drill. The driving comfort with the n large wheels and tires are felt a tick better than my 20 inch 255/35 tyres on the V90. Very confident unevennesses are ironed away and also cobblestone paving is not a topic together with the acoustic glazing. I also find the fact that with our V60/V90 the lamella grille is only open in really rare cases before the cooler (during the ride we can not tell when and how many of the lamellas are open for cooling). Also after the good hour of driving, the fan was still running at outside temperatures of around 19°C. Something our Volvos currently do not do even in high heat. Whether this is due to the fact that the 48V on-board network may require more cooling after driving, I can’t say. The service technician said that the B engines do not have much in common with the engines of the older generation (D) and that they can be used in the same way. I can still imagine that for the auxiliary units, it’s hard for me when it comes to the pure engine. The charging air is probably now cooled water and the oil cooler is also flushed with water. My conclusion: A great car, with mixed feelings and inside something torn back and forth we drove home. Even if my description may be rather subjectively negative for this Volvo, I will probably fix my order on Monday. there are some other reasons why this is currently attractive and makes sense to me. Unlock ambient lighting afterwards
Hello everyone! I thought at first that I wouldn’t care, but I notice increasingly that I am missing a smart ambient lighting in the car. I only have the two stupid mini LEDs in the V90, where the interior lighting is also. You feel almost like in a Golf 2. :- ( Behind the bars on the door panels and also in the footroom at the back are the cables and connections for the ambient lighting everywhere. But at least in the doors there is no tension on the connections. Is it possible to release this kind of software somehow? I mean, hardware is everything available. Then you have to get ‘juice’ on it somehow. Getting a lighting in ‘self-work’ should not be a problem anymore. Maybe someone has done this before? I am grateful for sharing all the ideas.

Maintenance due, wrong display. Timely error message turn signal and light
The xc90 Diesel is from April 24. Since autumn the display is constantly due maintenance, also in the app! The workshop then wanted to arrange a maintenance appointment for the end of January. Maintenance is included in the warranty package! The software errors with turn signal, lighting and maintenance, can not be found in the error memory and can not be eliminated. Maintenance can only take place after 12 months. Switching off the error message, would mean a risk, since then would not be pointed to the maintenance Rde! What can a false hint bring, which comes over months and must be pushed away again and again!

No Internet connection, TCAM module?
Hello to the forum, maybe someone here has a piece of advice, three days I have no Internet connection anymore. Reception is full there, but at the end of the ascending triangle the exclamation mark. Twice now the TCAM module over the Defroster restarted. No improvement. Also the main infotainment system restarted, without success. So slowly it annoys. Software is up-to-date, and all hooks in the privacy menu activated. Does anyone have advice? Greeting Christian

Stainless steel pedals XC 90 T8
Hello all, I really wanted the T8 Inscription (because of the nicer radiator grill) but I find the stainless steel pedals from the R design great. Can I retrofit them and mount them myself? Do you have a tip where to get them? LG and thank you for your answers.
