  • no call from outside Apple IPhone 12pro comes through

    I drive a Volvo XC90 T8 Bauj 11/2017. Since my new mobile Apple 12 pro I can no longer be called in the car. It rings once then the caller gets a busy sign. That’s it. Volvo says they know the problem, but they have no solution. Someone knows a solution. I have logged the phone off once or several times and re-registered again. No progress. My second problem is the display of my termi calendar on the display. I have been working with Office 365 recently. Since then, the display in the car no longer shows my calendar.   • Light and Navi

    I’ve had the xc90 B5 for 4 months and now almost 25tkm away. I’m very satisfied with the car, but h I’ve noticed 2 really big flaws that shouldn’t have been with a car in this pteis class. The first problem is the voice control of the Navi. I think Volvo is far away from BmW, Mercedes and VW. Och only enter my ads via the app. The second flaw that also disappoints me very much, the LED light. My xc60 which I had previously had had had a much better active light. The pages were illuminated much better. The whole illumination was also better for me at xc60. The high beam has just gotten worse. The high beam itself is now wider what I like. However, as mentioned, the illumination itself is very bad for a car of this price class. Whether VW, BMW or Mercedes, even Mazda are much better equipped here. Does anyone have the same experience?

  • All seats only synthetic leather in the XC90 Recharge MJ 22.5?

    Yesterday I picked up my new XC90 T8 Recharge (Comfortsitze Nappalder grau) As a long-time Volvo customer with great anticipation of the typical leather smell – which was missing however. Also haptically neither seats nor leather steering wheel felt as usual – I come directly from a V90 MJ 2017. On demand at the I was enlightened that Volvo apparently only uses more faux leather. Since in the price list is leather / faux leather, they should have the Volvo Austria also confirmed to me. But especially the steering wheel feels gruesome – definitely plastic.     Moin, I’m about to buy a used V90 CC. At the moment I have 2 offers (both diesel from 2019 and 2021 with 190hp) in mind, which I consider. Both are about 60k down and should cost 40k at the Volvo dealer. The one with wool seats and somewhat more spartan equipped. After all, he has the better sound system. The other (from 2019) with leather seats including heating/ventilation/massage. I find the wool seats visually very chic. I know from another thread here that the relatively durable should be…and also with child can be considered. Our child just turned 4 years old.   • Extensions V 90 CC MJ 2023

    Hello together, I’m new to Volvo and I’m relatively spontaneous at the V90 CC. A D5 of 11/2023. Now to my actual question: Is it normal that the plastic spreaders have air to the body? For my feeling these have to be completely attached. Car wads twice at the dealer. Once nothing happened, and now it is a little normal. Tomorrow I am there to clear that.The parts are probably only glued?!? and I have the assumption that the car with labeling as advertising carrier was on the yard, when the stickers of the hot air dryer was removed a weing too long there and has solved the glue. I have a problem with my elk (XC 90, built in 2016): We bought a Volvo XC 90 last year and have been having problems with the Internet since then.The car has a modem where we have a data card of O2 inside.Wifi works without any problems,so everyone can access it.I have read that the car can also download apps,such as Spotify.But that doesn’t work with us.Since I have another warranty, I have visited a Volvo workshop and after about half an hour I was told that a control unit was broken.That’s what they replaced,but in the end it didn’t work.Since then, the two other control units, the cable set and the multifunction antenna (costs are over 7,00€!!!Good that I am there with a lawyer) have exchanged.Now the workshop has rendered my car to me and said that everything would be on the data card.The car can only be 3G and my data card can LTE.Can this really be on it?If yes, what can I do?

  • XC90T8 and culant from Volvo

    Dear half-sweden, I have a T8 Bj 2016 with 61500km with the following problem. A culant request was rejected. After my vacation I am back with the same problem to the workshop, there he is now for 3 weeks. It’s the gear Erad and electric Erad defective and metal chips in the gear and I should now pay once again 941,-€. Volvo doesn’t like to take part in terms of the premium brand? I don’t like to say that I’t share the same with my warranty.
