I don’t want to be annoyed or to speak all bad about my new car. But today I started the pilot several times and had to intervene EVERY time, because otherwise I would have landed in the guardrail. Dry road, bright, wide clean lanes, pilot vehicle at 30m distance in front of me. The speed was 60km/h, the curve on the highway was very soft. Without running to make steering over the car the dashed midline complete!!! I then hit in, logical. Next scenario. Straight road, beautiful marking, dry, bright, pilot vehicle 10m in front of me, 40km/h. The road made a very light (!!!) Schlenker to open the track left-turning. My car did not follow the track, but drove in the middle! This time I was icy until the brakeassi Macke played, because I would soon be left-winger to a standing left-winger. That all systems have their limits, is clear. Bloss what I tested today was far away from system boundaries. That was not normal everyday situations of responsibility. I would not find it?

Difference XC90 Late2022 and 2023?
Hello, I was just on the Volvo homepage and there is an XC90 Late 2022 and 2023 – quickly I couldn’t find or possibly overlook any differences? Does anyone know what they differ in, or when they were delivered? Thank youhttps://www.volvocars.com/

Reliability Tank indicator
Hi, have the XC90 T8 MY24. The tank indicator has 4 “strikes” (and the residual width is calculated, which I don’t mean). How reliable is the display of the strokes? I just slipped from the third line to the second (full) one. So have 2 full strokes. Can I assume that I still have 50% so 35 liters in the tank or is the display rather inaccurate and I have less (more would be okay). What’s your experience? Background is that I am abroad and would like to refuel in D. With 50% and 100% electricity I can do it.

XC90 newcomer with first questions
Moin Since today I am proud XC 90 owner! The first settings are made, the instructions are eagerly read and I have been searching through the forum here for days. Therefore, thank you very much to the community here, it is great what I have already found here for information. So far a few questions are still open: 1) What is this symbol in the middle of the driver display? In the attached picture the red arrow shows on it… Edit: ok, with the right terms it also finds the Forum search:https://www.motor-talk.de/…/…eutet- dieses-symbol-t6012146.html?… So, where would you install a Dashcam? Today, the friend said that the center of the windscreen is actually off-limits because all the assistance systems are installed there. I found that obvious, but where did the camera go? 3) Volvo on call doesn’t go, I haven’t received a PIN yet. I’ve already entered the chassis number online, but never received a PIN….what do you do? n? It was unlocked by the dealer. 4) can I also switch on the heater manually? I’m manual is only about pre-conditioning and that the heater is then switched on automatically. That was it for the first time, surely more will come in the next few days, if I deal more intensively with the details.

Software Update – November 2017
Hello Together, if I interpret the Volvo software page correctly (http://support.volvocars.com/…/article.aspx?…) a larger software update for our XC90 will come out with nice regularity in May and November. I will soon have to go to the workshop because of a smaller “tuning” measure anyway, so it would probably be worth waiting for the release of the software update. Anyone already knows what changes are contained in it and when exactly that comes to The last ones were partly quite extensive, when I look at the changelog like this.

Questions about the 4 wheel of the T8 2018
Hello Community, I would like to switch from my Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Quattro (B8) to the current V90 T8. And as a four-wheeler, I have some questions that the dealer did not really answer me: 1) I was assured that the four-wheeler was ALWAYS available, even if I drove the (respectable) 50km electric. 2) The four-wheeler (i.e. the rear axle) always goes with a certain percentage, as would be the case with the T6. 3) I have remember that in the next winder, here in the Allgäu, I simply don’t have a four wheel anymore with full snow cover. I hope that you can refute my concerns and relativize them, because if the four-wheel drive is not permanently possible, I would like to switch to the T6 after all. Greetings

XC90 2 (L) Sensus does not recognize numerous MP3 files
I had already described the problem at one place or another, but I still can’t get to the bottom of it and it’s extremely annoying: My sensus doesn’t recognize about 50% of the MP3s that I connect to external data carriers (whether USB stick or hard drive). All other media systems (be it Mercedes, VW, Audi or even third-party solutions like Pioneer) recognize the files without any problems and also any other imaginable device that I could test. a game file that my sensus doesn’t recognize (it doesn’t even appear in the library). Could one of you do me a favor and check if the file is recognized by the sensus? Thank you!

Oil consumption of the XC90
Good evening, does someone have (responsible) experience with the oil consumption of the XC90? I have a VW T5 with the unspeakable 2.0l BiTurbo engine, which now, like apparently all T5 after at least 80-90.000tkm, now enjoys a good 1-1.5 l per 1000km. According to my dealer, this is unfortunately normal, a well-known VW problem with the T5. With my Octavia RS, which also has a 2.0l engine, only every 25,000 km or just during the year inspection the oil has changed so far I did not have to refill. My father-in-law has a brand new Alfa Giulietta, since it is already in the manual that between 200-500ml per 1000km are consumed. That can not be normal, can it?

Purchase advice XC90 T8 Hybrid
Hello dear community, I came across an XC90 T8 (R-Design) from the year 2016 with ~140.000 km. We (2 small children, my wife and me) have a compact Karoq, but Volvo has always liked both of us. During a business trip I had one and was really excited about it. Now to the question: Are there any experiences of you about this type or possible concerns? Our Karoq drives quite well, did not even 40.000km on it, but the Volvo has already done a little bit to me. I am unwise if I should switch to an older used car after 4 years with significantly more kilometers. Besides, I would also have to pay a little money on it. But the Volvo offer itself is good. Thank you very much for your feedback! Greetings

New air purification system PM2.5 from MY21
Hello, for all those who think about whether the new air purification system is what it is for them, a few experiences with it. – This works mostly automatically, so nothing needs to be activated extra. – There is a sensor app that retrieves the sensor for air quality and displays the value. However, this looks different than in the marketing documents. Rarely comes the message that the sensor is not reachable. – In the meantime also the VoC app has been extended, so that the air cleaning can be started remotely. In the end, the interior is blown through once. What distinguishes the whole from the pre-climateization, however, I do not know. Probably especially at colder temperatures the heating is not also started, but only the ventilation. Since I am mainly traveling in rural areas, the air is not too bad (the sensor always showed no load) and so a system is more thought of other markets, which are significantly more smogbelly charged. I imagine, however, that external smells are less inwardly, what should be related to the additional active filter. At least Volvo is writing to the chemical filter, but also to me, for example, for example, the chemical filters, for example.
