Hello I have an XC90Phev with double exhaust and want to retrofit a trailer coupling My dealer says that I have to do without the footing because there is no room for the sensor. Does any of you know a solution/manufacturer? Has anyone already retrofitted this? In the operation of vehicles with “protective plate” the sensor sits behind the left wheel box. However, there is no room for my vehicle. Is the original another sensor installed? Thanks for your help as quickly as possible because car is already disassembled ;-))

Door Panel, Sound and Amplifier
Moin, we’ve been looking for our Volvo V90 Inscription(04/2018) probably next week and I wanted to replace the speakers, as well as a subwoofer and amplifier. I’ve been looking for a long time here in the forum and found nothing suitable so far. 1. How can I remove the door panels, so far no guidance found. 2. I’ve read that the amplifier in the standard sound system is under the passenger seat. It’s been asked again if that’s what it is, as an answer came only that it is generally known. So I don’t have this knowledge, is that the amplifier under the seat? 3. If someone has a connection plan from the amplifier, then you don’t have to measure it. 4. I’ve read the Volvo using a Most Audio system, it’s supposed to be stubborn. Is there maybe amplifier that can handle it, or suitable adapters? 5. The subwoofer should be hidden a below the driver seat or. The passenger seat should be matching system. If there’s probably enough space then if the seat has gone down and someone who could recommend it to me? In the Reserve Mulde we don’t want to build a subwooer, because we’t have the driver’ve got the next to say that the speaker?

Volvo XC90 II T8 Consumption in caravans
Hi, I would like to know what usages you have with your T8 while pulling a “normal” caravan? I shot to the lake today, average speed 98km/h per Thempomat and with a trailer weighing approx.2000kg, there was the average at 16,3ltr. That scared me a bit, because I had to fill up on the track even 2x. That was not used to me from the old XC 90 d5. That came with 12,5ltr diesel and did not have the “thousand” charges etc. of the new XC. Which also brings me to the second question. Did someone find a working variant to use the electric engine? I played all possible variations, while driving, but none lowered the consumption. Besides, he only allows the H battery in the save up to 10km range, so that I could not even drive on the country road really electronically. Why is this so, though it is also in the BA, but does not make sense? I’m curious about your experiences?

Sunscreen Windshield Original Volvo
Hello, my sun protection for the front window is actually slowly giving up after 20 years and was actually too small for the V90 disc. And with the large box for the rear-view mirror it never really fit. Since I found that the original Volvo accessories were always the better choice, e.g. roof rack and trunk mat, both replaced after the cheap things then still did not fit much, I also think here to buy the original. But 89,-€ are really an announcement… My wife would think I was crazy if they knew that I was only thinking about it Does anyone have experience with the protection? Or also a good sitting alternative in use? If the original actually convinces 1a, I like to invest, but if there is for much less something else good… Thanks for tips and experience with it. VG, Timo

Diesel suitable for my requirement profile?
Hello community, unfortunately it turns out that I have to buy another car at short notice. In the search I have become aware of a V90; see attached PDF. Since I don’t know about Volvo at all and have not been driving a diesel for more than 10 years, the question arises for me whether the vehicle fits for my requirement profile or whether due to known problems (e.g. particulate filters or exhaust gas cleaning in general, turbo, gearboxes, etc.) problems can be expected. My usage profile: – Daily Driver – annually approx. 25,000 km – daily work distance 56 km; 46 km overland, 10 km city traffic – 4 times a year. jew. approx. 800 km – 6 times a year. jew. approx. 400 km – the rest for shopping, chauffing children, etc. Does the requirement profile fit to the engine? Does anyone also know how high the trailer load is? Is it also fixed at 180 km/h?

Turbo pipes
Hello, I have a surren/fiepen/pipes in the speed range between 1500-3000( or higher) revolutions/min, always short 1-3 sec, only while driving. My engine is a D4204T23 with 173kw, 235hp, 2l, biturbocharger with VTG. The whole surely already 10 months, rather 12 months, has 120Tkm on the speedometer. Question, there are also other possibilities than replacement?! Each workshop wants to replace the turbo and requires between 2,500€ and 7,500€. Possibility of repair I have read, but with everyone I have requested the same answer, currently no parts available or locked by Volvo. Also I have read here in the forum that it sometimes helps to tighten the screws. Does anyone have a guide where the screws are?! Also a turbo expert told me today that he can not imagine that the turbo can be defective on the model. The periphery has been recently tested, everything is all right. Can someone help me? I live in Munich.

MJ24 – ISA
Moin together, I get my XC60 T6 charge very probably in February 2024 (ordered 05/2023). On the HP of Volvo is already the model year 2025 in the configurator, if I have seen it right. 1. Question: Will the model year 2024 then be, right? When will Volvo change the model years? 2. Does someone already have a 24er? Is there already the insidious ISA (itelligent speed assist) on board? This is mandatory only from approval 07/2024. If yes, I would be interested if this thing is as annoying as I imagine it…. Thank you and greeting

Because of Volvo on call, where exactly is the small battery installed in the S90?
According to Volvo service, I have the message “Volvo on call, service required” on the driver display, although the service has just been performed with oil change, update, etc. It should be due to a small battery, but where?

Leaves sieves on one side only?
Hello, when removing leaves with the windscreen wipers, I noticed that only one side has a leaf sieve attached. Did I wonder why this is only on one side, and if it might have been forgotten to install it during a repair? I also did not find it to order, so the left side is not. Maybe you can help me if there is the right side at all and if so where I get it from? Best regards

Autonomous acquisition of the changing speed limit possible
A stupid question, because I can’t find the right thing in the Hanbuch. With cars with pilot assist and active cruiser it distance radar you can let the changing speed limit take over independently or do I have to adjust the cruiser manually with every speed change?
