Hello, I have configured my new thickness and am confused…. So far I had the diesel with preheater. The new one is to become the T8 hybrid this time. Ultimate equipment. The configurator says preheater with timer incl. I sent the config to my friend. He says that the T8 hybrid has no preheater and can not be ordered either. I called Volvo Germany today and asked how it is possible to configure a car and display the preheater there as incl. and the friend can not order it for me. The statement was: You have to trust the seller. My question here in the round has someone currently ordered a T8 hybrid and stands on the binding order the preheater on it?

With my last XC90 I was used to the vehicle being slightly “rolled” when you were on D and not on the brake. For 2 weeks now I have a new XC90, MJ2025, AAOS – with which it is no longer like that. it seems as if AutoHold is active, although this is not displayed. The car is practically no longer rolling on itself, I always have to actively push the accelerator pedal. that is particularly annoying if you want to “rantasten” something. Does someone know the problem ? is that with the new models so ? I was always used to rolling on the automatic gear if you don’t actively brake – no matter which brand.

Hello friends of the great Sweden, I also plan to buy an XC90 T8 PHEV, since I have become a commuter between Wuppertal and Leverkusen since last year. I drive about 2400 km a month. With a simple route (only working distance) the motorway share is 28 km. Does anyone have a comparable route mix and can tell me something about its consumption values ? The planned XC90 has 389 hp. I just want to make sure that I did not charge myself in my fuel calculation. I expected a consumption in the burner operation of 7.5 and 8.5 L/100 km. Is this realistic ? Hello, 280km down, new model with SCR Kat (D5). I drove the D5 MJ18 since summer and by accident now the one which was delivered here on 02.01.18. So I know the D5 already well, but the new one has LuFW. Now I noticed yesterday when steering in front right a noise, while driving slowly while steering. However, not reproducible, after that tried and similar situation was driving nothing. Just from the shopping and there it was again. I have inserted the tires and checked everything whether something is grinding… nothing to see. It sounds like that, but can also fool me there only briefly and then away. It is about 0 degrees outside. What annoys that it is not understandable when it comes the noise. Did you have the problem already? Did that have anything to do with the LuFW? That is the only difference to the two D5 which I have driven so far. The noise was not immediately after the departure but was already 2-3km on the way in the comfort mode. Greeting Holger

Actually, it was no longer a secret, but the current model year 2024 will be the last model year in which Volvo cars with diesel engines (formerly D-engines, recently as Mildhybrid with B-addition) will be offered. In some models, no diesel can be ordered anymore, this will then affect all model series. At the beginning of 2024 (i.e. at the end of the MY24) the diesel engine will then no longer be offered. Those who absolutely want to drive a diesel-volvo should feel better! For some models, purely electric successor models are available, the previous models will then be offered as gasoline/plugin_hybrid – this can already be seen today as EX90 or XC90. Good morning to each other, Since Wednesday I am proud owner of an XC90 D5. So far I’m very excited about my first Volvo. Now that I wanted to leave my dog in the car with a closed tailgate in the car (just to do something for a short while), I wanted to turn off the alarm system. I’ve already browsed through the manual. Unfortunately I don’t find an option “decreased protection”. Apparently the red light at the front is just an attic. That’s very annoying. When I bought the vehicle was in mobile.de quite clearly that an alarm system was there. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a screenshot of the display. I would have thrown that before the dealer. Now my questions: A) do you have to activate the alarm system somehow? B) can I get somewhere with the equipment list? C) someone knows what a retrofit would cost at Volvo in case of doubt I’ve already searched the forums (on the iPhone) but found nothing suitable for my request.

Hello, I have a brand new XC90 (my second one) and as usual had the card material updated via the SIM card (in the car). Apparently something went wrong, because in the Download Center there is only “no connection to the service” after start. I can uninstall apps, but not install new ones. I tried to install the latest cards manually via USB, everything went smoothly, no problems. The problem persists. And yes: I am online (via WLAN tried, and via the SIM) all other access to eg weather or glympse work perfectly. Does anyone else have the problem? Can you uninstall the Download Center app and reinstall it? Date with the friendly get only in mid-May. Thanks and greeting

Hello, I think about buying a V90 as a used car. My consideration goes on whether I should buy a D4 (diesel) or a petrol engine (T5). One leaves a lot about the driving performance of a D4 in the forum but rather less about a T5. What I could find out is that one is not “undermotorized” with a T5 and that the fuel consumption is “limited” up to 160 km/h. I would be pleased about further reports. Another point, is the choice of petrol or diesel. First of all, to my driving profile. The annual driving performance is between 11,000 and 13,000 km. About 50-60% of it are driven in the city with a driving distance between 3-15 km. The rest is distributed on weekend trips and two to three larger holiday trips 400 -1200 km. At first I was convinced of a diesel, but my driving profile with a relatively high city share (short distance) moved me to the topic of gasoline. What do you think about it? Petrolter or diesel. Or just take the engine “better”?

For the time being, I have had problems with a whole series of stations. I’m only angry with SWR3 with the message “Invalid Medium”. But I’m also affected by WDR2. NDR2 is running at the moment, but was also partially affected. I don’t have a VOC but an external Huwai modem as a WLAN hotspot. If I use this as a hotspot for my mobile phone I can stream SWR3 over the mobile phone app there. So it’s definitely a problem with the Volvo APP. I already removed the app on the Volvo and installed it the next day. So an installation error is also unlikely. Since I haven’t found anything on the net for this problem yet, I would be interested if other people got this error message or if it is an isolated problem with me. Greeting TQB
