Hello, a few days ago I bought a used Accord Tourer from 2004. My problem is: If I lock the car, you can open the trunk from the outside again. So the trunk is already locked (at least sounds like that), but if you press the opening lever on the rear flap, the trunk unlocks again. Can someone tell me if I’m doing something wrong, or if the central lock has a Macke? Greetings, accord_1980

Hello, I’m pretty little here, because my car has not made any noises for the last ten years, except wear. Now after just under 200 tkm on the clock, I commissioned my workshop: -Tahnriemen Set with water pump replace -new Bosch Zünkerzen Platinum Pro (before NGK?) install -air filter replace -oil change -new fuel -Filter insert and -Zündung set. The car now has more throughput, consumes about 1l less to 100km! I thought zuert Top, but: Now I have e.g. at 120km/h on the highway at approx. 3000 revolutions in the fifth gear so a vibration – which I feel in the steering wheel and also in the accelerator pedal. An employee of the workshop is test-driving and has confirmed it. You can also notice it in lower gears, only on the highway it sticks out more. It comes so from 3k rpm and only gets slightly worse at the hourly speed. BTW; If I then out of the workshop it is gone. My workshop means that there is no vibration?

Moin, yesterday I compared two Komi cars, the Accord and the Civic with a purchase price of approx. 7-8.000 € (both gasoline cars, check booklets, first owners, dealers). I noticed that in such a comparison one can get a 5 year younger Civic Combi. I know that Civic is slightly smaller than Accord. Is the reliability and longevity of the two cars comparable high? Suppose, of course, that the two cars were moved by the same driver. What are the differences between the cars – technology, equipment, driving characteristics, prices for parts, rust resistance. I will need a combi and since now Civic is building one, this might be a good alternative to the Accord… Most of all, I am concerned with the reliability of the car. Hello all, drive now in the 3rd generation Honda (Civic, Accord Limousine, Accord Tourer)……. have bought the Tourer (Diesel) 2 weeks ago and now has to realize that the interior smells relatively strongly of exhaust gases……….I assume that it is the exhaust manifold……does anyone have an idea of you? If I have informed myself correctly, could this be a small weakness of the Tourer or? I also have a 2nd question: The driver door can neither be closed nor opened with the remote control…….can this be on the engine of the lock? Thank you for your help MfG Marcus

Hello who can help me? I searched a lot but always found something about brake discs. I drive a Honda Accord Tourer 2.2 diesel type CN2 with 100tkm on the clock and have vibrations on the steering wheel when I drive faster than 100km/h and that goes up to c.a 120km/h. I noticed that only after the purchase of the Alu’s the car had just 2tkm on it, so almost new. I pushed it first on the rims (Oxigin), but then it started with the winter tires. When braking there is nothing to be felt, definitely! It is only when driving, the steering wheel flutters so much and that it totally annoys. Did the wheels (Origianl Honda with winter tires as well as Alu 17″ with 225 tires) have allowed to weigh ten times, the Alu’s even electronically on the vehicle, but everything did not help. The Honda workshop shoved it on the rims, would draw itself at high speed, what for a weak sense! So anyone has answered it, I really don’t know any more?

Hello people. it’s about the car of my best buddy. Since Friday he has a crack in the cracker that goes to the turbocharger. now he has no guarantee anymore and the car has already over 140tkm down. We want to replace the cracker now next week. Can you remove the cracker from above or take it out and what has to be done with it??? I have often replaced a turbocharger on VW vehicles but no one was as fully installed as his honda. I don’t know if the turbocharger has to go completely out or also the kat. I only looked at this from above than the heat plate have dismantled to look at where the problem lies. The crack is on cylinder 1 many times someone of you did this and can tell me some more about it which parts have to get out. The cracker and the seals we still have to order from Honda. someone knows the prices for the bender? greet and thank you in advance.

Hello! In this thread, I’ll keep you updated a little bit about the upgrade or the “restoration” of my Legend. In detail, the project includes the following points: – Fix body damage (corrosions on the rear wheels) – Exchange of the rear bumper (there was probably a rempler) – Repainting in the original colour (at first only partially, later the complete car) – Exchange of the wheels (my wheel search is well known) 😉 – Replacement of the shock absorbers (they are no longer the best, therefore it is also so funny deep) – Addition of a beautiful, absolutely discreet exhaust system as a replacement for the (not very nice) original – Exchange of the steering wheel (only if the upgrade is feasible on multifunction) – Preparation of the interior (almost complete, only the root wood blinds belong renewed, because scratched, or peeled off – DANKE, dear previous owner!!!) There will certainly be some questions, and I am more grateful for every tip, every trick, every experience report of Peter!

Hello to all Honda Accord owners and to all those who are still considering buying a Honda! In January 2013 I bought a Honda Accord CW1 in Orchid Weiß with daily registration at Honda-Center GmbH in Frankfurt am Main. I will try here more or less objectively to report on my experiences with the car and with the new car service from Honda-Germany. I am myself a mechanical engineer and enthusiastic driver. To the Honda I am different from the BMW E61 BJ2008 Now I have on the tacho from my Accord 1400 km on it and there are already a few things I would like to write down here. So: Accord Honda Wagon Elegance 2.0 L Manual circuitry air conditioning, USB, Bluetooth etc. A higher equipment, which then includes a sliding roof, the rear flap automatic and premium sound system I didn’t want to have knowing, because with these extras there are always problems. That means: rust on the sliding roof, failure from the rear flap Omatic, broken bass speakers. So far so good. Will try to continue writing next days, as far as time allows.

Hi people, will probably go to the Bundeswehr from October and after about half a year I would like to get a reasonable car for the highway. I mean I am currently driving a W124 200E. It is very nice, comfortable and robust, but with only 118hp not quite suitable for the highway. I have also selected some vehicles: BMW 7er E38 5er E39 Mercedes 300CE C124 CLK 320 W208 Audi A8 Alfa GTV 3.0 V6 Honda Accord Coupe V6 VW Phaeton Passat Is the Accord for Autob Is it comfortable?
