In the short choice are Civic, puma, 323, paseo and civic coupe. My questions are: Is it true that the 90 ps variant consumes less than the 75 ps variant? Do all Civics have an airbag as standard?     Moin. My wife and I could possibly come cheaply to a Honda Civic of 97. It is simply in white, 75hp, little frills, everything original, neatly maintained, 1st hand, garage car and the clou: 25000km. A very short test drive has already been made, brakes top, hangs well on the gas, tight clutch(with short way) – looks completely like a year car; had already something of a time trip. The consideration is to take the car for shorter distances, I’m driving just One way to work is a 9km distance and my wife uses the Astra H Caravan for the “larger things”. 100Pro is not the deal yet, but if, we could get the car cheaply. Are there any special flaws that the car could have? I’ve already read a bit, the EJ9 seems to be a robust and loved by owners. Lg Markus

  • FK3 error message PGM-SI / car no longer starts

    Hello everyone. After my better half was shopping, now our diesel doesn’t start any more. On the display the error message appears: PGM-SI I called the workshop and had an absolutely capable 🙁 Man at the rib: There’s probably petrol in it… I had told him that last tanking is long ago, there’s still fuel in it, you can still drive about 200km. What can that be??? Now we have to see that the car comes into the workshop. t is so kulant that if they pick up the car, and it is not a guarantee (so false fuel: such nonsense!! or the battery) they would charge the costs!   • Honda Civic 2.2iCDTi or Opel Astra GTC 1.9CDTi

    HI, am new here and would like to buy me a new car soon, but the decision is quite difficult for me. Schwanke at the moment between Astra GTC 1,9CDTi with 150PS and Honda Civic 2,2iCDTi with 140PS, have both already tested, both drive really great. Powerful engines etc. What would you prefer, please objective opinion, Opel does not have the best image even if they work on it and should have become better by now. Is it with the durability of the two cars, i.e. engine, rusting etc.? I am very grateful about every tip that helps me with my decision. Here are a few things that I noticed during my test drive: Honda Civic: + Large interior, good powerful motor, good workmanship – high consumption (7,6l), opaqueness, bad brakes Opel Astra GTC: + very economical engine (6,5l) with the same driving method as Civic, very good brakes – opaqueness (retrospection) In my opinion, this is also a disadvantage of the Civic, that it is sometimes much more expensive in both taxes and insurance than the Astra. I mean, by and large, it’s both top cars, so I want to know your opinion about it, and I’ve heard that Honda no longer has the quality as it was 10 years ago. There are also constantly shortcomings, including worn-out shock absorbers, first set Brakes already at 20tkm down, I also noticed this with the test car, the brakes are significantly worse compared to Opel, delay is clearly too weak with this engineization in my opinion.     Hello, the engine goes off spontaneously. During the ride or in the stand. No matter whether cold or warm driving. No matter whether dry or humid weather. Sometimes on a few KMs often in a row, sometimes hundreds of KM no problems. When it is off, it can sometimes be started immediately again, sometimes it requires several attempts. Finally, it was possible to determine slight regularities: twice in a row, it went out directly when inserting the reverse gear (return light?). A few times directly when pressing the turn signal on the right. Once when turning on the windscreen wiper. This all within a few KM. After that, the whole thing could not be reproduced again. A few weeks ago, the ignition coil was re-engineered on suspicion and the throttle flap was cleaned. This did not help. The battery is top. At the moment, the car is back in the workshop.
