I would like to buy a used Honda Jazz for my wife (model from 2020). I have read a lot about this. The only important criticism seems to me that the (petrol) engine is getting relatively loud when asked for more power. Has this improved significantly with the new Facelift (2023) and the slightly stronger engine (122 hp)? Is the change to the Facelift with regard to the engine worthwhile? I see annual car as a Facelift from 25K. 3 year cars (without Facelift) still cost 20K. Do you see other noticeable improvements that would justify the price difference for you? My wife drives a total of about 60 km to work every day. Of this she drives around 50km of land road (70-100 km/h; liquid) and 10km in the city (30-50 km/h; much stop-and-go). She drives rather defensively. Or is even the predecessor (Jazz GK; 2013-2019) recommended without a hybrid with the driving profile?

Hello all, I was at the TÜV a week ago with the following faults: 2nd axle on the left does not solve 2nd axle on the right. Otherwise everything was great except for the listing of rust. The examiner said that the rear left wheel is difficult to rotate. Now I have to watch in the next 4 weeks that I fix the lack so that after that I can pick up my badge. Does anyone know what that could be? When driving it also makes no noticeable noises. (car has front and rear disc brakes). Thank you for your help MfG

Hello, we are currently fluctuating between Honda Jazz Executive and Honda Jazz Crosstar. Apart from the fact that the crosstar looks a bit more chic for us personally, I would have had a question relevant for us. I saw that the crosstar should have installed a better sound system, 8 loudspeakers and 376Watt Subwoofer. Is the system worth its money? Or is it unnecessary? I have currently only driven Mercedes C classes in the basic equipment, as the sound was sufficient. I once had a Mitsubishi Spacestar on vacation and the box had so clapped, and the sound was so bad without deep and in the middle that we preferred to have the radio completely out. I hope someone of you can report from his experiences.

Hello, If we operate the main light on the Honda both main lights become dark. That means the dipped light switches off correctly, but the main light does not come. New bulbs on both sides have done nothing. In the further search I am a bit perplexed now. When the dipped light is switched on, you hear the relay clack, but when switching to the main light nothing clacks. It is also no relay in the respect named. How is this circuit built up? Hi, freaks, someone can help me……. HAAAAALOOOO Okay, fun aside. I’m desperately trying to get a manual for the gear change or expansion. The second question is, how can I change the gear bearing, if I want to use the old gear again I’m surprised that I can’t find any manuals, although the error is supposed to occur very often, at this year of construction. The engine is by the way a 1339 cc with 5 gear gearbox. Thank you already in advance, guys. Please spout, is really hurry!!! (;-))

Here, please, everything that revolves around wheels and rims. But only for the said model. My dealer is currently waiting for the “new” rim program and as he meant, this should be ready in August.

Dear Forengemeinde, I have had a problem with my original radio for 2 days (Jazz 1.4 Bj. 2/2002). CD player is ok but the reception part spins. Loudspeakers remain silent and nothing could be adjusted (transmitters, frequencies, etc.) It was striking that “TP” flashed. I went into the lower settings (press on button 2 seconds) but tried all possibilities unsuccessfully. After the battery was disconnected, nothing went at first but then suddenly after 5 minutes I was able to re-set the stations and everything worked wonderfully. After about hours I started the car and the radio had the same error again. Does someone have similar experiences and how can the error be eliminated? If it should be a gross defect, do you have experiences with the exchange of the radio (distributors, costs etc) ? Thank you very much!

Hello, I did a map update with Garminexpress at the beginning of May. Has everything worked smoothly. Now the following problem: If you enter the first letters of the street name you are looking for, the navigation hangs up and nothing goes more. I turned to Garmin. First came an e-mail, I should contact Honda because they had nothing to do with the system. Honda dealer says: turn to Garmin…. After another request at Garminsupport it was called now that the problem was already known (!) and they wanted to connect me to the already existing error ticket. I shot a small video of the problem at Garmin’s request and transmitted further data. For two weeks now nothing was heard…. So first be careful when updating to the 2021 maps.

Hello, I’m interested in a used Honda Jazz 1.4 CVT year 2004. with 68,000 km I’ve come across the following familiar problems myself: – e.g. the CVT/Rubbel/Drivingrubbing – AGR/Exhaust recirculation valve known problems – water in the footroom at the back or in the suitcase area because roof seams to the trunk partly leak Are there other frequently occurring abnormalities? How does this model look like with the service intervals? Is there a maintenance plan in the net somewhere where you can see what needs to be done when? When often? For example, every 10,000 km or 12 months How expensive? Transmission (CVT) Oil replacement intervals? I have read: The first time at 80.000 km or 5 years later every 4 years Is that true? Are there tooth belt replacement intervals with the vehicle model? Set valves? Generally, where have a focus on it? Geared (CVT) Oil – Here I have read the initially factory-side a non-standing oil was used. However, this was not done by a return call?

Hello together, my wife is yesterday after her description probably set up with her jazz back or “somewhere against”. From below it looks quite badly scratched (see photos). Visually this would of course not matter from below, but I ask myself 1) what exactly is damaged there? “Only” an underbody protection or is there the tank or something? I can not estimate this as relatively ignorant unfortunately. 2) What do you do? Especially now in the winter time could there be problems due to all the dirt, salts etc. on the ground? Vg, Michael
