hello colleagues, I have similar problems in the forum when starting from the prelude. the last years the yellow indicator light does not go off at the start and the engine can not be started as long as it does not. the starter rotates normally as always at the start, only it does not seem to come to the engine as long as the engine control light lights up. sobalt the engine control light runs out, one hears a clack (relais) and then the engine starts normal. many in the forum describe similar problems when I drive briefly to the petrol station and the car shuts off it no longer starts and the engine light lights up. after a few minutes the engine light goes off and I can start again. now it is so that the yellow motor light no longer lights up and the engine does not go to start. the ignition runs standard only the engine does not start, it seems to come no gasoline into the engine. is it perhaps to the petrol filter? or do you have a tip for me?

Worth his money?
What’s more, I’ve got to take a look at it. It’s really good. The question now is, are 2900 euros for such a car a real value? Capacity: 1958 cm3 Number of seats: 4 Number of doors: 2/3 Doors Environmental badge: 4 (green) Number of vehicle holders: 1 H 04/2011 AU: 04/2011 Manufacturer’s color designation: Heritage green metallic Color: Green metallic Interior equipment: Fabric or something color of the interior equipment: Black In addition, he has ABS, color glazing, transcharging device, cassette radio (original) (but flies out anyway, because I got from a friend a Alpine radio with casette and 6x CD switcher to get there), sliding roof (glass) servo steering, central locking and should be in the original condition. On the display sign, however, the number of the beautiful wheels is not even mentioned.

Prelude BA4 Offer recommendation?
Hello, I found a very good offer at autoscout24 in my opinion.I wanted to hear a few opinions about what you think about the offer.I have also written an e-mail to the seller with a few questions. However, for now there is nothing significant. He only said that the car was in “very” good condition according to his age. What exactly does that mean? What can you expect and what can not? What things can cause problems? Many parts have been changed,is also described in the offer. I am very interested in the car and hope for good answers. http://www.autoscout24.de/Details.aspx?id=bq3m4yefvqbe Thank you in advance

New Mods – Semigod and Ralle
Moin moin, As one or the other of you may have noticed, the Hondaforum has since yesterday two new moderators: Halbgott and meine Wenigkeit. Many already know us, but let’s say hello again and introduce us more closely: I am Ralf, 27 years old and my sign networker in a big IT company. My time at MT started so 6 years ago, with an embarrassing post in the Opel forum. From the Corsa a Civic Type R was eventually changed, so I went over to the Honda camp… yes, and because it was so nice here, I stayed. I think Halbgott can then imagine itself in the course of the thread Again a few words about the moderation in the Honda forum: The atmosphere here in the forum is very relaxed, as you all know. Pretty much everyone gets helped, it reigns a loose touch, and then thanks to the strong community we come here almost completely without moderate intervention: on the last 5 pages in the main forum a Thread has been closed. And that is so cool for every half-day just remember something is going on the same way.

Honda Integra / Honda Prelude (the last two versions) // Purchase advice
Hello, I’m new here in the forum and I’m looking for some support or advice about buying used cars. So far I’m driving a 2000 BMW 320d (E46) which now has 125000km down and I’m going to sell it and switch to a gasoline truck with autogas. To this I’m saying that I drive back to work 85km a day and the same distance again. Overall I come to 40-50TKM per year. Therefore, the aspect of durability should be in the foreground. I’m very interested in a Honda Integra / Honda Prelude (the last two versions). Can you give me a few tips about the model with regard to any problems that may occur? Rust, motor deficiencies, longevity, other weaknesses, special features what you should pay attention to, what engine performance on average? Consumption? Which engine variant is the most insensitive? The frame should be up to max. 11000 EUR. And can anyone of you call me the insurance ratings? I’m currently paying for the 320d with HF and VK with 300SB 82 EUR per month.

Start problems with
Hi, did yesterday tuv and let my car go…. =) everything so far well. now I have n new problem…. if the prelude is cold he starts immediately… as soon as I have driven it warm and then turn it off and want to turn it on again after 5 min, the starter spins and the engine also doesn’t start… after 5 try or so he then goes on… e.g. today at the AU in the workshop… car is cold I turn it on and no problems… then the AU made a car turned off. short the things in the workshop and then wanted to drive it out… tried to start but nothing comes but that the engine turns through but apparently does not ignite… after the 4 attempt he went on then still. Or just before I drove fuelling, did fully filled… get into the car and try the same game… but this time started. But then arrived at home he waited for a few seconds and tried to start it with no problems?

Questions about the Prelude
Hello, I ask here, which prelude had 4WD drive? Or which drive (front or rear) did the different series have? Thought about years of construction from 1987, possibly with Euro 2 Kat or soon H-mark. Which models had seat heating in front as standard? I usually think with leather equipment. Is there something like a rust prevention plan, which could be worked off with Mike Sanders fat or Fluid Film? Can you use certain parts e.g. from the Accord, which is similar to the Prelude? Thanks for the information!

Timing belt torn
Moin, I got the timing belt torn yesterday, model from 1985, what do you think, are the valves down or there’s a chance that they’re not damaged, be it that, the thing is an excellent condition if there’s interest in the car standing in Leverkusen.

Prelude BB9. Brake rack rear driver side. Handbrake without function.
Hello, I have a big problem. I should change all the discs and coverings for a friend. That was also no problem until I found out that the dust sleeve was defective at the rear left and the piston was stuck. So I ordered a new sealing kit, cleaned the piston and rebuilt it again. The piston then turned on with the matching tool under slight pressure. Now the brake is completely mounted again and I have ventilated everything. Only now comes the problem. The hand brake does not want to tighten on the driver side. What I did wrong. Can someone help me. Can the automatic parking be defective. What can I check to see what is defective. The normal brake works perfectly I mean. Was not yet on the brake test stand. Thanks in the front of the brake test stand.

Macken Prelude BB1??
Hey guys, looking for a new ride, should be as cheap and Japanese as possible. A few days ago I noticed a Prelude BB1 with almost 130,000 km, 92 year of construction and the 2.3 liter allradmaschine + automatik. Unfortunately, don’t know me in the Prelude scene and want to ask you if the money is worth and what I should pay attention to. Think about the same as the civic problem with rust at the back but what else does it have?
