  • XG30 stutters in idle

On all those who have a clue: I bought some time ago an XG30 year `99 and am fully satisfied with the car. Unfortunately, the following problem appeared recently – the idle speed was around the 900, now this fluctuates at 500 and the engine stutters in idle, from 2000 To get quieter. (What is important, the vehicle could not even be read out by ATU until now, because the connection is available for reading, but not compatible with the common errors The engine runs smoothly from 2000 rpm, but still doesn’t have the old power. The third gear of the automatic transmission is brutally inserted. The spark plugs incl. coils are ok according to the mechanic, as well as the air mass meter. Some things that I “co-purchased”, wzBsp the tanker, tacho, I was able to repair myself. But now I am at the end with the latain. So if someone can give tips without the car for troubleshooting expensive to the workshop. ellen, I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance to all Hyundai owners and car screwdrivers…

  • Santa Fe decays under the hands

Hello community, have here the problem that my Santa Fe, 2.4 Benz., but langasm certainly decays. In particular, that means that the steering wheel dissolves and the clear varnish dissolves. (looks great with a black car with the hand plate size white lacquer islands) The car is year 2002 and the whole thing is. HyundaiGermany apparently normal that their boxes collapse at 5-6 years. I probably bought three times a Hyundai, the first, the last and the only time. With this car and the Hyundai’s service is made a laughing stock. Who already had the same problem, according to an oral statement of a dealer, these problems (lenkrad, clear varnish removal) are known for ages at Hyundai and will remain silent. A layer thickness measurement of the bonnet showed that the hood has already been painted. Lt. statement of the dealer in the first year, but why can he not say despite electronic diary in the system. Even the previous owner cannot remember. (Is there really something being kept secret here??)

  • i30 – Facelift as re-import already there!!!

Well, I wasn’t too surprised when I saw the facelift model of the i30 just standing at a re-importer on my way to work last week. I went to the WE and brought some photos. As a new thing I noticed: – Large radiator grille – Changed front bumper – Hyundai circling strip with brand symbol now no longer seamless on the bonnet, but “floating” between bumper and bonnet – side bars? changed, so the things under the door and above the underbody – modified rear bumper The front and rear lights remained untouched, as well as largely the interior. Only the gear stick now looks more high-quality.

  • Problems with ATU

Hello everyone! I have a problem and hope to find advice here. Tuesday I stayed with my Hyundai Atos. Adac called. It was determined that it was the distributor and that I was drawn to the next contract workshop, which is ATU. They then called me and said that it was probably the ignition coil. Couldn’t check them properly and say 100 percent. They would order the part and install it and I would have to pay all the costs. 270 euros. d if it’s not the ignition coil, I’ve had bad luck. Can it work? I talked to a lawyer from the Adac who advised me not to let it go. A Hyundai workshop, on the other hand, said it was a common practice again. And also at ATU they told me that it was normal. I have little idea about it and am afraid that I am being dragged over the table just because of it. Greetings and many thanks.

  • Tomtom and i30 viva wm, is that possible?

Hello, I bought my wife an i30 1.6CRDI in the equipment Viva WM. My question: How can I push a Tomtom-Navi so that it looks decent first and second does not hang on the disc? I fixed it in my ML to the ventilation grid but that’s because the ventilation struts run vertically (from top to bottom). Maybe someone has a suitable solution? Look forward to suggestions, thank you Marcus

  • 3 Werstatt visits, clapping doesn’t go away…

Moin dear Hyundai team. It’s again about my Hyundai Lantra RD (III) 1.6 GLS Bj.2000 In the cold start it clatters from the direction of the valves, the clattering can only be heard in the interior about 5 minutes long until the engine or engine oil are at operating temperature. After that the clattering is gone. Also when changing loads or driving from bad roads you hear this clattering in the cold start. Help sought at: 1) Seller in Segeberg. He has stuffed any parts with foam e.g. Unt The air filter box. Nothing brought. 2) Instead of my trust. Gear rods were loose, tightened again. Weary small material replaced. Nothing brought. 3) Hyundai Hamburg. It was determined by the valves. But I knew this for a long time. Now I quote “This car is sooo rare against the clapping can’t be done, you have to live with it”. He then spoke of oil pressure and toe fluid. I have done a motor flushing. and a 0w40 oil from Castrol. The rattle got less… I have the impression than if the Hyundai forum has more idea than anyone else. So please help more. Thank you in advance!!!

  • Hyundai i20 rust !!

Hi guys, it’s about a TOP POWDER Hyundai i20, which is just over a year old and has been standing in the garage all the time for a few months. It’s often washed and waxed, really very well maintained. Now there are the following problems. A few rust pimples have formed on the tailgate. Does anyone else have this here? And, in my opinion, a manufacturer’s error: Between the underside of the rear window and tailgate there is a bead, so a slit ru Here, water, dirt, etc. can easily collect. Cleaning, even with Q-tips, etc. is hardly possible. In the beading, therefore, rust accumulates. Does any of you have the problem too? Is that known? Greeting, Silencer

  • Manufacturer of the Navi im ix35

Hello, our ix35 came with Navi (Original of Hyundai). Does anyone know which manufacturer is behind it? My problems: 1. Somehow there is no central location for the volume settings to each other of the individual functions of the device, but everyone grumbles for themselves in their own volume – that is annoying. 2. After the Bluetooth coupling, the phone book from the mobile phone is not transferred into the device. It can’t be that you have all this new in the combination In the other car I have (yet) a small Parrot CK3100. This works well with the phone book transferring both handsets used, which is not possible with the device in the ix35. My dealer shows himself at first with both questions.

  • Preheating in IX 55

Good morning, please don’t think me or my question in this forum is stupid, but: what is your opinion/experience after a heater, in this case a Webasto ThermoTop C ? I had a complete heater installed at a Hyundai dealer, including the remote control T 100 HTM with heating management. I’m surprised that after only 6 minutes the heater regulates or even runs out of the reduced heating area – after only 1 – 2 minutes When I enter a departure time (e.g. 10 a.m.) via HTM, the heating calculates the necessary time before the departure to the heating. In the current weather this is about 35 minutes. For a complete heating of the system incl. motor circuit this would also be the correct time. My heating has done its work after 6 minutes and switches off and on/off again and again. In this case the burner starts to start again. u smoke, so that the exhaust gases reach into the interior. Have now run the heating several times 2×30 minutes, the interior is after a short time already well warm, but the engine is definitely not heated! And that is the real meaning of a heater, namely the avoidance of a KALTSTARTS !! Have now got in contact with Hyundai and send me the installation plans: According to instructions the heating is obviously planned so that by the installation of recoilve In the cooling circuit it should be avoided that warm water can get into the engine ! Why did I then install a burner with 5.2 KW heating power, which can heat up a water quantity of max. 3 liters in a very short time to 65 or 72 degrees, because at these two temperatures the heating regulates in small or off. Once the water has become a little cooler again, the heating phase starts again. Please for tips.

  • Your Wishlist to Hyundai

Christmas is the time of wishes. Usually these go in the form of a wish list to Santa Claus. Well, we’re all out of age and besides, this is a forum around the topic car and motor. But why not pick up the idea and use the opportunity here instead of addressing the wishes to Santa Claus directly to Hyundai? Since we are already in direct conversation with almost all manufacturers, the chance is great that your wishes are also read So if you had a wish free, what would you want from Hyundai for the year 2011?
