Hi Leuts, after 20 years I flattened a tire again. Just as it looks at the shattered ground of a New Year’s Eve cult bottle, which was hidden in the snow. Too bad about the new kind of tire, which is irreparable. But fortunately the air escaped slowly, so that the wheel change could be carried out at home. With the tool on the roadside this would have been a failure. The supplied wobbly and foldable lever to the wheel nut is about as short as the handle of a frying pan. Without my proven wheel cross, which from today will always be in the car, it would have been completely impossible to solve the wheel nuts with this cluttered toy toy! The car lifter needs (feeled) 500 crank turns to lift the car. With the “pan handle” put on-half-turn-off-……… it would have been a half-day occupation. With the gun from the home key box (21’s key) it was painfully. The spare wheel is something to get used to the rope wind.

Hyundai S Couoe jerks and sparking ignition cables
Hello dear motor talk user. My last post is a bit old, had problems with my brakes, which helped me here and could fix the error. Now again two problems… For a long time my Udo stutters and jerks. If it is cold without probs but as soon as it has temperature, it starts to stutter and starts to stutter only at 3000u/min and my consumption is currently at approx. 10-11l / 100km. In addition it is nen 1.5l with 90ps. Quite expensive in the net researched and found nothing really clear. But much read about the Lambda. But can not my AU reports really much take away……Aufhnung??? Well the 2nd Prob. Before about 4 weeks ago he jerked extremely and reacted hardly to gas. I saw sparks everywhere, but not where they should go directly? Did spark candles change the last time but I can only try new ones (was the reason). Now I have the Bosch Super 4 in it, 4 weeks ago well, but since yesterday the same shot again, but the candles are not allowed to sound again?4 but they don’t?

Thick scratch on amaturation board at new cars – what to do?
Moin dear community, I got my new i10 today. I’m really overjoyed, wouldn’t be that thick scratch on the amatur board. I drove the car straight out of the hall when I picked it up today at noon and saw the scratch in different light later. Then I called my salesman immediately and complained about it. But now he’s going on vacation for 2 weeks and I’m supposed to come back Monday again. But now I don’t know how to face Monday. I’m somehow in a stupid situation. Should I ask for compensation? If so, how much? Or have Amatur Board exchanged? Or make use of the right of withdrawal (have financed the car)? The scratch is quite clear on the picture. Have tried to wipe it away, but it’s really deep in it! Wouldn’t be a problem if it wasn’t right in the field of view! What do you recommend to me?

Motor damage Santa Fe CRDi
Hello, last week I went through the engine with my 5 year old Santa Fe CRDi. He couldn’t be turned off any more and turned very high until he finally went out. Diagnosis of my workshop: Bad diesel over the year. Injection nozzles have added and then sprayed uncontrollably, which led to the passing. In addition, it is a reimport which was actually intended for France/Luxembourg. Damage 4600 euros. Only the injection nozzles cost 1600.. I then picked up the car repaired and after about 20 min. exactly the same again. Engine turns high, huge white smoke cloud, ignition out but engine runs on. But this time the damage is probably not quite so great. Has someone experience with such a thing and who is liable for the second damage? Thank you very much.

Require the 5 years of maintenance included
Hello MotorTalk municipality, I have before me to buy a Hyundai i30, which there is at the moment in the attractive Fifa World Cup offer. After I have seen that the additional package with seat heating etc already for me does not justify any improvements the 880€, I am now thinking about whether I should take the 5 years maintenance with me or not. Should I not take the maintenance the dealer goes down 2000€ in price. That would be 400€ per inspection with 5 maintenances. That’s not even how much my buddy pays BMW for an inspection. Moreover, if that were 400€ per year, I could get financed “free” or put the money on the bench. Are you there my opinion or did I miss something? Thank you for your answers Kelvin101

Hyundai Getz Fire in the engine compartment
Hello, yesterday at 17:45h it popped up in the carport in front of my terraced house. A look from the kitchen window did not bring any enlightenment, so I opened the front door and could not believe it. Smoke came hissing bonnet and windshield up and under the car I could see a small fire – so no bonfire under the car, but flame light on the pavement. – While my wife called the FF, I grabbed the shclüssel and pushed the car away from the house, took the hose and extinguished first from below, then I opened the bonnet and specifically extinguished the burning part from above. When the FF arrived it was all over, but the guys also wanted to keep their fun and kept it in with my garden hose. At this point a thank to all volunteers!!!! What burned I can not say yet- the FF didn’t know the part either. Tomorrow a expert arrives, then I will report. The car was already 90 min., so at an outside temp. of 5°C it should be cooled off by now. F external consumers were not old.

Radio Jazz broken?
Dear Forengemeinde, I have had a problem with my original radio for 2 days (Jazz 1.4 Bj. 2/2002). CD player is ok but the reception part spins. Loudspeakers remain silent and nothing could be adjusted (transmitters, frequencies, etc.) It was striking that “TP” flashed. I went into the lower settings (press on button 2 seconds) but tried all possibilities unsuccessfully. After the battery was disconnected, nothing went at first but then suddenly after 5 minutes I was able to re-set the stations and everything worked wonderfully. After about hours I started the car and the radio had the same error again. Does someone have similar experiences and how can the error be eliminated? If it should be a gross defect, do you have experiences with the exchange of the radio (distributors, costs etc) ? Thank you very much!

Quality of new EU cars
I was recently at a Hyundai dealer to inform myself about the bikester. There I asked the dealer quite provocatively why I should buy the bikester from the dealer and not from an EU-new car dealer. The new car prices are very different (car dealer: 22 000€, EU: 15 000€). The equipment differs, with many EU cars missing the parking bill, keyless access is rarely available, I am aware of all that. However, the Hyundai seller also wanted to convince me that the quality of the EU-new cars is significantly worse. He spoke of thinner sheet metal, small brake discs and NoName devices, where otherwise branded goods are installed (light machine, battery). The cars run from exactly the same band, or not? The seller’s arguments seem to me to be rather suspicious. Does anyone here have any idea and possibly experience with a Hyundai as an EU-new car?
