  • H1 Cruise control

Hello, I have ordered H1 Travel now and think about having the cruise control installed immediately. However, WAECO offers a retrofit tempomat with a steering wheel remote control, this would not be bad. What experience have you made with the original cruise control? Or is the original one just the one from WAECO? Does someone happen to have a picture of the control lever on the handlebar and could set it here? Would you be grateful about any opinion… Greetings

  • Hyundai H1 Travel Premium after 6 months of paint problems?

Hello, after last year we noticed tiny, pinhead-sized white dots in considerable numbers on the bonnet on our newly bought black H1 and this was founded by the dealer with rockfall, we were already a little surprised. We thought that with black paint the primer can be seen soon when stones get on it. After such a short time and in the density of these “pünktchen” this remained annoying and strange. L Last weekend was again a hand wash due and we hardly dared our eyes – both doors – drivers as well as passengers – were, in approximately the same running places, large area also with such small paint damage. Not to be seen from a meter distance – but clearly in front of it. Many of these points (small recesses) had set rust! At the last wash it was definitely not there yet! I have never heard that before, let alone seen it. Is there something like this that someone has ever heard, experienced on his own vehicle or seen somewhere? We will probably visit a paint shop for the days – maybe someone has an explanation … .

  • Sound system IX35

Hello Since I have to wait about 4 weeks for my IX35, I have now thought about the following things: -) What output power does the integrated radio actually have? -) Are the built-in boxes of good quality? –> For system suitable? -) What components would I need for a “small” system still so much for my IX35? (Woofer, Amplifier, Condenser, … ?) -) Since I don’t know about this technology: Where is the installation advisable? kt e.g.? -) What would the fun cost me? -) If I need the entire space of the trunk, can I easily remove the components of the system? Music genres: News/Techno Hope it fits here in the Hyundai thread. Would be very grateful for your suggestions/thoughts.

  • Santa Fe four-wheel drive

Hi guys! I’ve been driving a new Santa Fe Diesel, automatic for 3 months. Had to take it a little harder yesterday on wet meadow and Maisacker, because it finally got more muddy than I had initially suspected: On a slight incline, with slightly spinning wheels, it went slower and slower to a standstill. It was a slight incline, therefore set back, was difficult, but went, then again, tried to take a little more swing, did not go back. before, the track was probably a little tighter, the wheels picked up a little better, then suddenly indicator light of the 4wd-lock turned on and – standstill! Luckily one day before I had read a test in the car-picture-all-wheel, that the all-wheel system of the Santa Fe passed itself when overheating and switched everything to front-wheel drive. Otherwise I would have thought that something had broken. Only with front-wheel drive of course one has the feeling that there is no traction at all So I waited 2 minutes, again set to 4-lock and I slowly pulled myself out of the mud! Now my question to the forum: Does this happen more often, for example when driving free from high snow? Does someone know why the central differential overheats, although one actually suspects that it would have to be firmly connected when you have operated the 4lock switch and should actually not cause frictional heat? I am grateful for all the answers except comments like: On such fields one does not drive where one sinks almost 20 cm! Tires were of course not MT, but new winter tires Bridgestone 4×4. • Thinning of the dealer network

With great horror I learned that Hyundai thins out his network of dealers. Since the mid-1990s I have bought 20 new Hyundais for me, my wife and my son. Now I had to watch how my friend was quitted. Now to buy a Hyundai I had to drive for miles, which in my case is an impression. When I wanted to buy the new i30, I then opened up to another dealer who promised to inform me as soon as he had one. I’m still waiting for this call today. I suspect that he didn’t want to buy my Hyundai Turbo (186 hp). I’ve already complained to Hyundai, but I didn’t get a reaction. I’m pissed and gallube that my Hyundai purchases are now part of the story. What good alternatives would you advise me to do?

  • Hyundai Tiburon Gk 2.0 gls eats the oil

Hello dear forum! Have a strange problem and I’ll ask myself in a forum. Google meant with you I’m right. So. I bought me a Hyundai Tiburon Gk 2.0 gls year 2005 with 200,000 km. Engine runs quietly and he does not install any other. ONLY he eats the oil away from me! I filled in 4 1/2 liters of oil on 300 km! But he doesn’t burn it! Also he doesn’t lose oil! It’s just gone. o.O. According to the seller, the cylinder head gasket has been filled with 4 1/2 liters of oil! The mechanic that did this then filled up to max. and it ran perfectly. My guess was that he had too little oil in the tub, but would it have to be already full or?! Does anyone have any idea what could be there? Since he is already dry again, I am filled up with dust again when I think of him, but I’m afraid that he might drown in the oil. xD I thank you already now for your Antw Detection!

  • Winter tyres H-1

Moin, in advance: I’ve already searched the forum, but found no really suitable result (except a thread from 2009). We all know that the H-1 is not exactly the optimal winter companion. However, I arrived with my current winter tires at a point where I can’t even climb the easiest climbs with minimal snow. The trip to the supermarket the day before yesterday looked spectacular from the outside with its drift inserts, but certainly It’s just online – there are exactly three tyres to choose from in my size (215/70R16C 108T): Nexen doesn’t tell me anything, but somehow sounds like cheap tyres, so Hankook and Maxxis stay – not my first choice, but what you want to do. The Maxxis has the much better EU tyre label (C/A against F/E at Hankook) overall and seems to be completely new. I find average reviews for Hankook. Question: What do you have on winter tires, and above all: with which tire have you made the best experiences with ice and snow? Is there possibly a better choice if you change to a similar size and let it carry in appearance? Thank you already Ralle

  • Winter tyres Hyundai H1

Hello first of all! I ordered a Hyundai H1 Travel Bj. 2008 from an EU dealer at the end of July – is probably the Austrian model, as lock differential in the rear incl. aluminium rims. Practically I get it first Nov/Dec…if there is a lot of snow here in Bavaria and of course there are summer tires on it…the dealer is only two hours away. So I need a set of winter tires before I take it with me… I have here in the For in order to already searched and found that it is probably not so easy with the tire choice, can someone recommend me a good winter ice cream (not only approved size but also manufacturer) and suitable rim? How are the prices like this? I have never been bus owners, but my two dogs the Astra Caravan is much too small… According to my tyre dealer there is no 215/70R16C 108T…as I have read here???? With the tire search he seems to be a bit overwhelmed, since I I don’t have a letter and in the usual catalogs only the old H1 is included… What do you have and what are the experiences??? I am grateful for every good tip! How do I go about expanding the last row of seats – need the space for a large dog box. Does the Torx just go through?? Are the Torx? What size do I need? What do I need for the installation of a normal Auotradio, ISO adapter? Does the antenna fit or do you need an adapter? And last but not least – does the part fit into a Standard garage? Or can my wife be happy that she will soon get the garage? Thanks! Sven

  • Hyundai i10 too high oil consumption?

My Hyundai i10 with 67 hp ran about 133,000 kilometers. After I bought it, everything seemed to be fine. But after a longer long distance drive, back and forth about 500 km, the car began to shake, and it turned out that the ignition cables and candles had to be replaced. After this repair was done, everything was fine again, and the mot However, I noticed that hardly any oil could be seen on the measuring rod. Therefore, I replenished about 1.5 liters of oil. Afterwards, it seemed to be a little too much oil, which did not bother me any more. But now, after just a month, my car has consumed half of the oil visible on the measuring rod again. What surprised me is that neither an unusual smell, nor stains, nor oil moisture have occurred under the car, nor any blue roughness. h can be seen from the exhaust. Can someone explain to me what is wrong here and why my car consumes so much oil? I worry and hope for your help and advice. Thank you in advance!
