  • BB3 water pump leaks – what to do?

Hello everyone, during yesterday’s oil change I discovered a leak in the cooling system. But this only occurs during running engine, so I could never see a wet spot on the road. The leak is at the water pump, which is driven by the timing belt – right? From a small hole between the water pump and timing belt drive comes a small “cool water – rhinestones”. Now to my questions: 1. Is the cause of this leak a def. sealing ring at the water pump? 2. I get the water pump out without expanding the timing belt (so just relax belts and the pump by the belt somehow?) 3. Do I need a completely new water pump (Ebay 43,44)? Or is the change of the sealing ring in the pump rich?

  • What’s special about the 2.2 VTEC engine

Hey guys I have a question about you and I think I’m right here. I’m looking for a sporty coupe at the moment and am very excited about the price performance ratio of the Honda Prelude Bj.98 2.2 VTEC with 185 ps only want to know what’s special about the engine that is going around the top so good when the VTEC is used but what exactly is that because with Honda I haven’t really occupied myself the last time and I have no idea about the Honda engines in general so it would be nice if you would help me a little bit because of the lifespan, load capacity and maintenance and what comes up with you so much So hope for an answer MFG: QUATTRO1993

  • Honda Legend – purchase recommendation??

Hello! I’m going to post this here because the Accord seems to be the closest to the Legend. Unfortunately, there’s no Legend Forum. I just got back from an extensive test drive with a Legend KA9. Year of construction 1998, 214,000 km. Technically quite good, except for two serious points: The brakes are made and the shock absorbers don’t seem to be the best anymore. Or does such a slightly spongy driving feeling belong to the Legend??? The car was built primarily for the US market… Anyway, except for slightly rusted rear fenders, there’s nothing to complain about. A little careless is it, but that’s really not the problem. The whole thing is to cost 800 euros. To make it fit for the Pickerl (or for the Germans: TÜV) ;-), one would probably have to plug in just under a thousand more. What do you think: is it worth it? Is something to say about the Legend in general from your side. To make it fit for the Pickerl (or for the Germans: TÜV) 😉

  • Accord Tourer 2.2i-CTDi Sport 30 Years Edition Needs ÖL

Hello together, does someone have experience with whether a Honda new vehicle can use / consume oil as standard? I was informed by the dealer at the delivery that, since the 2000 km inspection would be done nciht more, every 1000km look after the oil level MUST. Otherwise no warranty line in case of engine problems. Well, neatly as you are, I have checked it then. and see there: about every 2000 km needs 0.5 – 1 liter oil. meanwhile, 4.5 tkm on the clock. That can’t be normal! My previous cars have no oil CONSUMPTED! and when they were sold…. Thank you and many greetings jochen

  • By the car manufacturers built navs ….. TOPP or FLOP ???

Hello together, what do you think about fixed built-up car radios and navs, which are forced on today by every car manufacturer of humanity? I personally find these things only rip off. I will never buy a car with integrated nav. The problem is not the nav, but the rest usually only out of money used by the manufacturers. You want to have only one nav, and get a multimedia center for not seldom 2000€ to 350€ in the cut. These the manufacturers can pay well already at the purchase. And not rarely do they earn also in the afterin in best with it. A good nav costs today approx. 100€. So stands absolutely in no proportion what the car manufacturers demand for. What do you mean???? Greeting Willi H

  • Honda Civic Kaufberatung Azubi low fuel consumption

Hi people, I’d like to say thank you very much at the Golf IV Forum, but after a few months of thinking I decided to buy a Honda Civic, because I think that this one in insurance, spirt and purchase is much cheaper than the Gulf. (And it looks very good!!! ) I could narrow my selection to the point where it should be a Honda Civic of the 5th or 6th generation (the others see me as shabby from xD). With the 3 doors I like the 5th generation better, because at the 6th generation the rear lights look funny. I would be very happy at this point, some users would like to post a photo of your Honda with a specific name so that I can make a picture like the cars from the front etc.. On the internet please report the following sources or there is no name. My first question is, of which generation is this Honda? http://.maxrev.de/file My/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/my/

  • Coupling defect?

Data about the car: Honda Civic 1.4 90hp EJ9 Hatchback Hello, I had a problem and I did not have a problem a few days ago, I accelerated my Civic from the standstill and when I wanted to get out of the 1st into the 2nd gear, the clutch pedal felt funny at this moment and I couldn’t put in the second gear any more. The clutch pedal comes back to its position quite normally, but when I press it seems a little lighter and shortly before the close one you run a slight counter pressure. When the car is on, I can’t put in the gear. Once I have switched off the car, I can switch the gears normally. I then turned off the car, put in the 1st gear, put on the car and wanted to go off. Only from about 3500 revolutions the car moved slowly forward and the gears could not be changed. Then I did a clutch test (with the 4th gear and tightened hand brake) and I was able to give in the standstill and plugged in gas and it is not dead. Liquid is present, it is not checked today. What is the coupling cylinder should start here?

  • Civic 1.8 limousine from 2014 – no problem?

Hello, at the recent Honda festival I was alerted to a Civic Limousine (4 doors) 1.8 Beziner with short registration. The car in itself made a good impression, however, the door panels were not straight processed. The limousine is manufactured in Turkey. My questions: Is there a fluctuating quality of workmanship with this model? Is the car only mounted or installed many domestic parts of the supplier? Are the essential parts from Japan or England or under license from Turkey? Is the engine robust, quiet and durable? How does it look with the rust protection and the general quality? A bit a lot at once, but I have never driven a Honda. The test drive was not a topic at first, because I wanted to clarify what is going on with the car in general. Who drives a “Turkish” 4-door and can say something about it? Thanks for any answers. Greeting Jüppken

  • Honda Jazz GE (2009) – Radio exchange for Android radio?

Now that I have repeatedly used my Sche***** radio code (for a short period of time I have disconnected the battery) I decided to replace the radio with an Android radio. At Amazon and eBay there are various offers but I ask if someone has already made such a conversion and possibly has tips and, on the other hand, if someone can recommend a specific offer? Here is an example: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B091YWMKC4
