  • Lowering EJ9 still profitable ?

Hello guys… I’m currently driving an EJ9 BJ 1999 Facelift version and it will probably give way next spring to a BMW 325/328 coupe or Alfa GT. Now I ask if it still cleans up until then still to install lowering springs and what they cost so much. Does that scare people when buying rather off? And maybe I would spice up my boring rather gray interior bitsl in which I would paint the bending plastic parts in car color (silver metallic). t you ? (P.S. The vehicle is still in its original condition except for aluminium rims)

  • Prelude BB8 4WS : Massive rust in the rear wheels

Proud owner of this beautiful and rare lover car with 4WS, leather and VTEC reports. Unfortunately I fight enormously with the heaviest rust on the rear wheel runs. My search for repair plates was unsuccessful and a single production in combination with the remaining carroserie stacks seems unprofitable. Does anyone have practical tips on how to save the good piece? Thanks & Best regards! – blueshift

  • ABS Prelude BB3

Hello I’ve been having a problem with the ABS from my BB3 for some time now. The lamp started at some point and since then my ABS is inoperable. I then measured all the sensors (for safety 2 times)… The rear two had a resistance value of 0.9 k-Ohm, the front left 1.2 k-Ohm and the front right was about 9 k-Ohm. I then assumed that this is defective, ordered a new one and when I wanted to install it again all measured. But then all 4 sensors had a resistance value between 0.9 and 1.2 k-Ohm, so all in the green area. My next guess would be the control unit… Has anyone had the problem already and can help me further? Thank you already in advance.

  • The BB3 is a good used guy?

Hello I would like to buy a fancy sporty Japanese in February. In my short choice are : Honda civic coupe ej 1 or 2 Honda Prelude BB3 Toyota t20 1.8 Mazda 323 f ba I want my car to be more visually what makes it and is not a pure-bred athlete. I noticed the BB3 with the “small” machine. Are these cars worth a recommendation? Do you have diseases? What about the costs (Bin student and have after all fixed costs still about 600€ available)? Do all Euro 2 have? What mileage are realistic and what prices? What consumptions are to be expected with normal driving methods?

  • Car purchase decision ( Honda Jazz, BMW 3 Series, Golf 4 , Audi A3)

Hello people are new to the forum and didn’t know exactly where to write in. So I’m looking for a car for me. Should be my first car. I was primarily talking about fuel consumption and afterwards about the optics. What was true in both was the Honda Jazz. My requirement is that he has to have less than 90000 km and at least first registration in 2004. At the price my limit was 4500 to 5500 euros. There will be not very easy but there are already some offers in mobile. but to the actual problem. For 4000 to 5000 euro you get also easily a bmw 3er under 100000km and a Golf 4 or A3 all over BJ 2000. Only with these cars would then be the duty on gas conversion so that I would drive the because otherwise the consumption is simply too high for me. Now I don’t know what the right thing would be. The lower the consumption the more it is driven and you have fun with it. I don’t need the car to drive with it to work or something. What do you think about it? prefer 4 to 5 thousand a jazz or 4000 a 3 and then 1400 a gas conversion.(Has let an acquaintance make with his Benz and is satisfied)

  • Handbrake without function because of rust on the edge of the brake disc!

Hello, my Honda Jazz is 4 years old and was regularly maintained in the Honda workshop! Last time I was very scared, because after I put on the hand brake and the clutch, my Jazz just rolled off. Then I drove into the workshop and I had to adjust the hand brake more tightly. But this didn’t bring anything. When I was back in the workshop I had been shown that the two rear brake discs on the outer edge a ca. The master said that this was a jazz disease and that I needed new brake discs and that it was also more common for small cars. He also said that the brake pads had been rusted, which is why the rust had formed. I don’t think that I can be, because first of all I drove regularly and zewitens, I think that the brake piston has enough power if only light rust formed the linings to operate. If someone has a n Tip on what I can do about it? Thanks for the help! MotCar

  • don’t know if jazz is better off

hello, I’ll make it short. have a peugeot 1007, 4.5 years old, (purchased 1.5 years ago) and apparently a Monday model. have only annoyed with it and the nose full. wants to sell it now. however, don’t know which pkw I get. for a new car my money will not be enough, possibly for super special offers –> am single parent with expensive rent in münchen so probably n used. important, must be in insurance half cheap and of course economical in sprit consumption. re min. 500 km a month + 3 times a year family tour with 1500km each. driving mainly in the city, would say so 80:20. jazz is supposed to be a place genius, which irritates. otherwise of course the low sprite consumption, loud hearing-speak-read. does this also apply to the city? then it is a 5 seater and 5 doorr. otherwise I have read here also some annoying things, tank display, battery problems, rust, noise background. so, and otherwise I have probably only for the selection ne number kle iner, the toyota aygo, c1 or the 107. very economical, but also only 4 seats and little space, and equipment so lala. what do I do only, what do I do only… skoda fabia would be nice, but probably with tsi ne number too expensive for me totz offers. (if already) the colt should probably not consume as little as indicated. the corsa and fiesta I do not like. the toyota yaris, should also be economical, but find it not exactly visually appealing. moreover, the selection of used don’t dare so intoxicating at the moment. how bad is the jazz now? thank you dear greetings helen

  • Attention Hyundai lubricated customers

In 2006 Bosch announced that there are diesel injection pumps that are defective and will fail to recall all diesel injection pumps. Mercedes,BMW and Chrysler have reacted and called all cars of their series from the time 2004 – 2006 back to the workshop and replaced them free of charge because yes Bosch takes over the damage. The only ones who did not see it was Hyundai who built even from 2004 to 2006 the defects diesel injection pump They waited nicely until the defective one of the diesel injection pump came out and during the guarantees you were replaced free of charge and when after the warranty only the error came just an invoice was presented to the customer and have to pay already because you need the car. Hyundai itself however the diesel injection pump plus working time received reimbursement from Bosch. Since I sel bst is affected by this with a Hyundai Tucson 2WD which is 4 years old and has only 35000km down and the pump is defective. Hyundai wanted me to pay 900 euro that was their culant (laughing). But did research and came out with this information so don’t let yourself be shitted. P.S only recall action from the Tucson : Tucson 03/2005 05/2005 Brakes – RR 711 13.01.2005 — Oeamtc — Control of the brake lines. It could be the between the auxiliary frame and the stop However, distance clips are mounted on the brake line for the vehicles concerned and additional corrosion protection is applied (1’220 vehicles). 26.01.2005 — Importer CH — In Switzerland, instead of an elaborate callback, a service action is initiated Oh yes, Hyundai is so honest according to your statements there comes another one : All 30,000 km the whole throttle flap has to be removed only with the Hyund ai Tucson Diesel (Crdi) and to be cleaned as the Rust gets stuck the throttle valve no longer works perfectly and can even abort. Why by bad material. For example also will not be replaced by a better quality. This costs the customer every time: 30 min working hour a 35 euro cleaning agent + blow out 25 euro New seal 3,85 euro Total: 58,85 euro and that every 30,000km !!!!!! I will soon not drive any Hyundai anymore !!!!!!
