Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the cylinder head gasket is defective at our H 1, which we bought in May 2009. The repair will amount to approx. 2000 Euro (more). It is still in the workshop, because the head is still sanded. We have already driven 144,000 km (last customer service at 140,000 km) without real problems, all the more annoying to us. As you know, the guarantee is only valid for 3 years. So our guarantee had expired on the damage day 16 days. Even on Kulanz, as the works statistics tell me, it would be unlikely that something will be taken over at this stage. My wife drives the vehicle decently, sometimes country road, sometimes highway, sometimes short distance, sometimes long distance, just quite normal. She is so frustrated that she doesn’t want to have “her Heinz” anymore. Actually, I’m not willing to accept it just like that. Do you have any suggestions for me? Frustrated greetings

Moin together, on Saturday I spent a few hours polishing my Heinz Premium Bj. 2011 properly, cleaning thoroughly inside, letting summer tires open and and and and. The car looks almost again despite smaller scratches (doesn’t seem to remain with three children) just like fresh out of the factory. I noticed two things however: 1. The paint looks somehow like orange skin. Therefore as layman the question: Is this normal or does it say something about a supposed mind 2. At the lower transition from rear window to tailgate, where the water usually stands, the car has rust – and already with small bubbles. Has any of you already noticed such a thing? Greetings

a question, who fights with this problem as well. when you start it rumbles from the drive train. until now the complete differential last week was renewed Wednesday the clutch and nevertheless it rumbles when you drive. especially at trailer operation. in the early year when the tire change in my old screwdriver booth we talked about it and the master saw the time and meant that in the push piece at the gear side where the cardan goes in the side play would be quite big. Hello, after viewing the articles I have unfortunately found nothing- annoying high frequency squeaking from the engine compartment – since about 50000km!!!!. Description: Engine is at operating temperature (not only the 90° on the display, but also the engine oil). As soon as I give back gas in the sliding mode (downhill without power), a very annoying squeaking occurs (starts at about 1000 rpm and ends at about 2500 rpm). Under load this then disappears again comparable to a slide The workshop said that the belt with all pulleys had to be replaced – of course let it do and- problem still there!!! About 10000km later the master came up, the turbo has changed a Macke- and now with 800€ expensive certainty- problem is still there!!!! What could that be????? Again summarized: – occurs only with really warm engine – occurs after sliding operation – when driving under load this does not occur – Turbo / pulleys / pulleys lt – already since about 50Tkm Grateful for every hint!!!!

I picked up our new i40 in the garage 2 weeks ago and am so happy. I waited for 7 Moante and was happy when this was finally delivered. We agreed on various extras such as panoramic roof or side airbags at the back. At the acceptance I was assured that everything was delivered according to my wishes. Now I noticed, however, that the side airbags in the back of the car are not written on what I mean The dealer has now had to admit to me after several working investigations that these were not available. In the purchase contract they were explicitly mentioned, because these are very important to me. The dealer apologized to me and said that this had not been clarified correctly before the purchase was completed, since the side airbags in the back of this model are not selectable at all and can not be installed afterwards. He offered me the price for the airbags at to deduct a future purchase of spare parts (e.g. winter bikes etc.), which in my opinion is not exactly Kullant. I gave him to understand that I would have made the purchase with him, since his offer for the overall package was the best, including the airbags. Otherwise I could have made the purchase also at another dealer, who gave me at the beginning to understand that he could not deliver the car with the airbags. I am now not sure what I can do from the dealer I just think that the refund of the surcharge for the airbags is not done because, as I said, he has not dealt with the competitors carefully enough and I would not have bought the car from him in these circumstances. Hello, for a week now my fat guy has already been standing in the garage with an engine damage. Some foreign body will have gotten into the engine and there probably (the noises to judge) have eaten between piston and cylinder wall. A repair is no longer worthwhile, therefore the XG heavy heart will be scrapped away. With regard to the numerous repairs and the enormous amount of money that I put into the car, of course, a bit too bad. but still look here at the Hyundaiforum and wander around Since several parts have come new to my XG, of course, it is good to pass on these parts. Hello, officially the seats on the Hyundai H1 Travel are not to be dismantled on the rails. This is often criticized at the H1. I find these are very easy to dismantle, you only need a Torx T50. Six screws loosen and lift out seats. The single seat is even to be extended on its own. Unfortunately, a rather unsightly “hole” is created in the vehicle floor which is to be covered. That’s why I designed seat rail covers which are quite easy to assemble. e original screws (M10x1) should however be used for this, since there are no such screws at reasonable prices in the trade. (no standard) The seat rail covers are designed in such a way that they can be mounted with the original screws. Advantage: You only need one tool! I have taken into account that it is possible with or without floor mats. See pictures. I like to publish a technical drawing for the H1 drivers who want these “recasts”. I can also imagine ALU-Riffelblech from the hardware store. I hope I can alleviate this shortcoming at the H1-Travel. Again to the conclusion contrary to many test reports: Yes, it is probably possible to expand all seats without much effort!

Since about 100km my engine clacks, i.e. I hear it in the stand in the interior. About 15 years ago I had a Golf 2 16V, and somehow the noise sounds the same. At that time it was the Hydropulse… very expensive thing. However, the Golf had 160tkm. The Hyundai just reached 10tkm. A warranty case? Normal that the engine ” louder” or “cracks” ? I drove it up to 5tkm without turning it up once. Since sometimes a little faster on the way. Also 220 on the highway. and as I said, since about 100km the clacking (comparable with a quiet pinning diesel) would be nice who anyone has a few infos for me before I go to my dealer. Greetings
