  • Hyundai Nexo Experience Report

Hello everyone, now I’ve been driving the Nexo for a week. So far about 400 km. Average consumption roughly 1.2 kg / 100 km. He drives well. The one thousand buttons in the armature area and on the center console are absolutely confusing. He drives on the highway quite neatly himself in the lane. The hands have to stay on the steering wheel, at least one finger… When setting off he blows out water and/or water vapor and finally makes a quite high noise. Probably valves are closed. I am satisfied so far.

  • electric range in practice

Hello! I would like to ask a question to the owners of electric cars. It’s about the range at a distance, if you drive e.g. 250km highway at a distance. The ranges are always uniformly as WLTP values, e.g. with 350km. Supposedly there is within place and max. 50 – 60 kmh also 400km and more in it, what I can understand myself as a PHEV driver. I can also confirm that the range is less when driving faster on the highway etc… Now I have a little bit of the feelers after a compact E-car extended out and have found two models, however, which come from the same group and have the same battery and motor, found. WLTP range is here so about the 330 – 340km, inside place also 400km should be in it. But what makes me wonder: with one of the brands there have already been thanks on the model side a range calculator. As soon as I choose 120, the range goes back to 200km. Even at 110 I would not have the desired value of 250km would be given anyway.

  • Kia ceed sportswagon plug-in hybrid charging cable flash red

Hello kia municipality, Hab Today my new kia ceed sportswagon plug-in hybrid got and there is already the first problem. It was delivered to me from the car dealership and was of course relatively empty. After all the formalities were done and the driver of the car dealership drove away with my old car, I loaded the sw directly with the normal charger, which was supplied. At 80% kahm the first error message and the charging process was interrupted. The charger flashed red. After a short drive the charging was repeated. At 60% the charging was started and the charging process was interrupted at 70% again. The car dealership had already done something wrong. Did I miss anything? Greetings

  • Delivery time NX 4

#1 Hello, (Tucson NX4 Trend) Ordered in mid-September 2021 – Current statement Autohaus delivery date at the end of June 2022. If there were more than 9 months or 40 weeks and I didn’t even take over the vehicle yet. Clearly to laaaang… Was not said so long! #2 So, end of June is also over. Should now be expected at the end of July after I have asked for the car dealership because no one ever reports himself. Just like this as customer information, has something to do with service. Tip of me! Orders in mid 09/21 Tucson What’s left, wait… #3 So, at the end of July is also over. Last contact from the car dealership was the 28.06.22 with the following information: Production on 04.07. In Bremerhaven on 09.07. Then the vehicle should be in the car dealership in 2 weeks. Now 3 weeks are over and I wait further… Is sure the TopTop vehicle from Hyundai! Well I’m curious what else “claps” for me at Hyundai.

  • Different hybrid modes in Ceed PHEV: difference between car and HEV

When the car starts, it is in EV mode without the car or HEV lighting. The car then drives purely electrically, but if I push too much on the tube, the engine is switched on. The same behavior shows the vehicle, in my opinion, when I drive in car mode. Will the burner be switched on earlier? And what is the difference to the HEV mode? Even in this mode I drive at times purely electric. Can one summarize it so that in HEV mode the battery level is kept as much as possible, while in car mode the burner is switched on only in special situations, while in mode “without everything” only concerns the verbenner in extreme situations…? Many greetings Kubi

  • Air conditioning stinks

With my XJ (Bj 2005) the air conditioning stinks for a few months. Already 2x at the JagDealer disinfected and pollen filter changed – it still smells like stable, when you open the car door the next day. After a few minutes drive the smell is gone. Either the nose has become used to it, or the mief has blown out. But the next morning it starts again from the beginning. I already had several cars (other manufacturer) with air conditioning, also considerably older. But I never had this problem. Does anyone have an idea?

  • Jaguar TPMS / Tyre pressure control

Hello XF-Driver, who of you also has the TPMS and how do you solve it with summer/winter tires? I am annoyed a little bit that I ordered it at all, because it is not such a nice toy as in the Audi (there you can display the pressure and temperature on the monitor for all four tires) but a quite banal warning system. For the 2nd tire set you need basically also a 2nd set of sensors. I have put the winter tires on the 18” rims with which the XF was delivered (for the summer then 19” on it). Therefore, there are now also the sensors on it. Have asked already what a sensor costs: 54,86 plus Mwst. (so a set about 260,- Euro incl.) Now comes the joke: The things are from Siemens VDO. And I have asked once a friend at Volvo whether the possible construction is true, since I had found the following on the web:Jaguar-TPMS Volvo-TPMS My friend has not seen what a Volvo is costing, but a bit of a bit.

  • Strange questions do I have; cat or Japanese?

Hello people, I would be looking for a fun car. I was at Lexus – so much wood. IS there only over 300 hp with the IS-F with 423 hp and 5.0 liter displacement. An Infiniti M37 with 3.7 liter displacement and 320 hp. Infiniti are rare. The Gaffers are rarer. Now I was at Jaguar and saw the XF with 3.0 liter displacement and compressor and 340 hp. Due to the 0.7 liter smaller engine the engine could consume less. The compressor pumps more oxygen into the combustion chambers – additionally less consumption. Yes, who should be interested in such a car should not look at the fuel consumption. I don’t want to read such sayings. The XF also exists with 275 diesel hp. The XF diesel should also create 250 km/h on the runway. I saw the XF at the dealer as a combo. As a combo he is only from the front as Jaguar to have bought a car that the people had never. How to buy it from Aldi is now a swan between 0 image (Infiniti) or the park used for luxury.

  • XJ40/X300 – Width incl. mirror?

Moin, I’m getting ready for a cat purchase (A “perfect” XJ40 4.0 Sovereign with 85 tkm first hand with Jag-Scheckheft will be available for sale for me in October!). Since my driveway at home is something special: Can anyone call me the exact width of an XJ40 including mirror? Alternatively, the corresponding measure of the X300 – probably quite similar. I drove for a while X350 and always opened the mirrors electrically in the driveway, but that won’t be possible with the older semesters… Trial ride with “test” unfortunately doesn’t work at the moment, so I ask for your help. If it doesn’t fit now, the plan would have died and I calmed down again 🙂 Thank you in advance!

  • Jaguar X-Type 2.0D Limousine (BJ 2006) Yes/No?

Hello community, I am 21 years old and I want to buy a new used car for the next few days. I have been looking for the last 3 weeks daily. I am looking at elegant limousines and since my budget only goes up to 600€, the Jaguar X-Type flew into my eye. The grossest details, as it comes from the Ford Mondeo, are known to me. Now I have found a 2006 executive with a new TÜV, with 130,000 km and new brake discs, 2.0 diesel with 131 hp. I want to drive the car for the next 5-6 years. Since I don’t know so much about this matter, I have also informed myself here in the forum. The consumption should be quite low and the majority seems to be satisfied. I am really unwise and would ask for help. With me there is no special Jaguar workshop within the next 20 km. If free workshops are to look at here to be disadvantaged and if something needs to be repaired, this is really so expensive with the X-Type? I just don’t want to have a great car at first glance, that then because I don’t have a special Jaguar workshop due to me for many necessary repairs.
