A hello in the round, I come from the A8 forum, but my father has some problems with his then () new re-import Santa Fe, petroler, 2.7 ltr. 189 hp. (139 KW). This has now 143,000 km on the clock, ZR etc. were changed at about 105,000 km. All services etc. made. Problem: Since about 15,000 a single, sudden jerk who goes through the vehicle… Not bad, driver realizes it, an uninvolved not… It annoys him, me too… We are very sensitive. The spark plugs at 105,000 km changed, again when the problem was already there, before about 10,000 km – problem remained. It is neither dependent on rotary zhal, nor on speed and can NOT be reproduced. MEIST it occurs from 140 km/h on the highway, with MEIST under load, but also not always. Then it can also be two, three rucksacks by irregular distance (but shortly after – so 8-10 seconds). The contract workshop says: error memory empty, drive until it IMM ER occurs. Freie Werksatt says: Error memory empty, hmmm…. Are there any tips for me here? Thank you and many greetings Michael

After changing to winter tyres funny driving noises
after I bolted the winter tires to the IX today I had noises and vibrations in the drive as if I were driving on cobblestones. When rolling the noises and vibrations were gone. The phenomenon occurred between 20 and 90 km/h. The tires were already on it last year. Only difference, I made the rears to the front, because these have more profile (about 3mm more) After I changed the tires from the rear to the front were the phan Does anyone have an explanation for this? Greetings from Ralf IX35, 2,0D, 184PS, AWD

2.0 CDI Santa Fe does not start
Good morning together, I am recently owner of a 2.0 L CDI Santa Fe. Now I have replaced the existing radio with a Sony radio and matching adapter cable and it worked as well. ?BUT now the engine no longer jumps on. I can not recognize a installation error, but what is noticeable is that the symbol for the immobilizer remains on and in the start process. On starter spray the engine causes immediately. Who can please help me with tips or solutions? V G Karl

Santa Fe (SM) jerks while driving
My friend has the following problem with her car: During the drive the car suddenly starts to jerk strongly. Is also visible that the rev indicator falls off and catches again. No indicator light works on. With luck he gets back in and runs normally. If it runs stupid the engine goes off, after a short waiting time you can start it again. In the error memory is not stored. It is about the following vehicle: SantaFe 2.4 16V, BJ 2001 with 146 HP. D he workshop has changed the following and is still at a loss: – Misignition sensor No. 2737038000 – Ignition coil No. 2730138020 In the workshop it was suspected that it could be the air mass meter No. 2816438080, but it costs accordingly. I have worried the LMM in the meantime, but the problem still exists. Has any of you had such a problem and knows where the error lies? We are now in despair about what we can still do. my friend doesn’t even dare to drive with it anymore. For your hopefully numerous and useful answers, thank you very much in advance.

Santa FE already the second turbo and even more problems power drop
Hello to all professionals here, since our Santa Fe EZ 2008 2.2 CRDI 4WD only causes problems and very high costs I wanted to ask for your opinions. Below an excerpt from our repair list: wheel hub rear at 82000 km turbocharger renewed at 100000 km = 2000,- € temperature sensor + standing bolts + manifold seal 117000 km = 600,- € bar joints front , handlebar 130000 km = 240,- € wheel hub + wheel bearing rear 156000 km = 700,- € 5 weeks ago again a new turbo due Turbo loader + alternator renewed 184000 km = 3000,- € three weeks later again power drop now exhaust gas recirculation valve renewed at 186000 km = 677,- € yesterday, while driving suddenly again no more power, now according to Hyundaiwerkstatt it should be the control valve of the KAT, cost approx. 600,- € We ask ourselves now of course if the workshop wants to earn with us a golden nose, the replacement of the exhaust gas recirculation valve was possibly not necessary. take advantage of our inexperience in the field. Would be very happy about your opinions, tips

Leasing / purchase Hyundai Tucson
The Hyundai Tucson is high on the decision list. In the race are still the VW Tiguan and possibly still the Kia Sportage and times the new Seat waiting. Maybe you can give me some tips in the decision: Does anyone have experience with the Hyundai leasing process ??? Here I would be particularly interested if there is an insurance for the small stone hits, dents, scratches etc. VW has a return protection Insurance in the offer. Since you can often read about major problems with regard to the private leasing with regard to the return evaluation and processing: How is your general opinion about it. My wish would be 4 years leasing incl. 100,000 km mileage I personally favor yes 4×4 drive because of the contingencies in winter, wetness and driving stability. Certainly there are different views. My seller advises me only because of the more harmonious engine ( 1,7 with double wheel) the front drive instead of the four wheel with larger engine with automatic transmission. What is your opinion about it? Thanks for the help already before

Front bracket
Hello, my Santa Fe (SM) should definitely have a front bar. Now there should be 2 different for it. One until 2004 (facelift) and one from 2004. My fairy is from 2005. Does the handle from the front lift really not fit there? Are the screw points different? The offer in the net is very clear. Can you give me a tip? Greeting, Christian!

Engine loses power and goes off
Hello experts, my Santa was noticed by a bit of inertia while accelerating. I first saw if the hand brake was still dressed, of course it wasn’t. Was then about 15 km far in the city and on the way back it became worse and worse. I could only drive in the 3rd gear, then in the 2nd and in the 1st and the engine no longer took any gas. Finally I stopped 10 meters in front of my house! At the same time the engine lamp came. In the workshop the message Zyl ignition breaker came when reading out. 4. After the extinguishing, no more lamp came. Since I still have a similar driving predecessor to stand around for slaughter, the nice people recommended me to just change ignition coils and candles. Made, nevertheless, did not go better. Then they thought it could also be the petrol filter, or the pump. Both changed (even new!). Engine ran for a while quite joyless (in the stand) and took on less and less gas and finally went out again. in or too little petrol. It gets warm or hot pretty fast. In the meantime I also pulled out the LMM, because it goes into the emergency run program, but it was not. In the OBD app also flow flow and temperature are displayed. Now I am rather perplexed. It looks like something has slowly but surely happened. Does any of you have any idea? Desperate greetings DonCavallo

Stuttering when starting + ESP + downhill assistance
Hello, this morning something very funny happened to me with my 1.7 CRDI (116hp, 6-speed switch) from 2011. It can be described as follows: If the car is cold, it starts normal. If it is switched off afterwards and started again (5-10 minutes), it stutters two to three times when starting and then starts. All warning lights go off. If you turn off the car again, it stutters significantly longer with two possible results: If it runs (even after starting with stuttering) the car is running normally. I have read out the error memory with Torque as well as with a PC software, there is nothing in it. Does anyone know this phenomenon?
