Hello everyone, now I’ve been driving the Nexo for a week. So far about 400 km. Average consumption roughly 1.2 kg / 100 km. He drives well. The one thousand buttons in the armature area and on the center console are absolutely confusing. He drives on the highway quite neatly himself in the lane. The hands have to stay on the steering wheel, at least one finger… When setting off he blows out water and/or water vapor and finally makes a quite high noise. Probably valves are closed. I am satisfied so far.

electric range in practice
Hello! I would like to ask a question to the owners of electric cars. It’s about the range at a distance, if you drive e.g. 250km highway at a distance. The ranges are always uniformly as WLTP values, e.g. with 350km. Supposedly there is within place and max. 50 – 60 kmh also 400km and more in it, what I can understand myself as a PHEV driver. I can also confirm that the range is less when driving faster on the highway etc… Now I have a little bit of the feelers after a compact E-car extended out and have found two models, however, which come from the same group and have the same battery and motor, found. WLTP range is here so about the 330 – 340km, inside place also 400km should be in it. But what makes me wonder: with one of the brands there have already been thanks on the model side a range calculator. As soon as I choose 120, the range goes back to 200km. Even at 110 I would not have the desired value of 250km would be given anyway.

Kia ceed sportswagon plug-in hybrid charging cable flash red
Hello kia municipality, Hab Today my new kia ceed sportswagon plug-in hybrid got and there is already the first problem. It was delivered to me from the car dealership and was of course relatively empty. After all the formalities were done and the driver of the car dealership drove away with my old car, I loaded the sw directly with the normal charger, which was supplied. At 80% kahm the first error message and the charging process was interrupted. The charger flashed red. After a short drive the charging was repeated. At 60% the charging was started and the charging process was interrupted at 70% again. The car dealership had already done something wrong. Did I miss anything? Greetings

Delivery time NX 4
#1 Hello, (Tucson NX4 Trend) Ordered in mid-September 2021 – Current statement Autohaus delivery date at the end of June 2022. If there were more than 9 months or 40 weeks and I didn’t even take over the vehicle yet. Clearly to laaaang… Was not said so long! #2 So, end of June is also over. Should now be expected at the end of July after I have asked for the car dealership because no one ever reports himself. Just like this as customer information, has something to do with service. Tip of me! Orders in mid 09/21 Tucson What’s left, wait… #3 So, at the end of July is also over. Last contact from the car dealership was the 28.06.22 with the following information: Production on 04.07. In Bremerhaven on 09.07. Then the vehicle should be in the car dealership in 2 weeks. Now 3 weeks are over and I wait further… Is sure the TopTop vehicle from Hyundai! Well I’m curious what else “claps” for me at Hyundai.

Different hybrid modes in Ceed PHEV: difference between car and HEV
When the car starts, it is in EV mode without the car or HEV lighting. The car then drives purely electrically, but if I push too much on the tube, the engine is switched on. The same behavior shows the vehicle, in my opinion, when I drive in car mode. Will the burner be switched on earlier? And what is the difference to the HEV mode? Even in this mode I drive at times purely electric. Can one summarize it so that in HEV mode the battery level is kept as much as possible, while in car mode the burner is switched on only in special situations, while in mode “without everything” only concerns the verbenner in extreme situations…? Many greetings Kubi

Guarantee Ioniq Electrics
Hi guys! I’m very much superior to buying an Ioniq electrics. This is from 2020. Now I’ve heard the Hyundai grant eight years warranty on vehicles from 2020. How does it look when I purchase a used one from 2020? Does someone have experience or does anyone know if this warranty can be transferred, or are the 8 years now with new cars? I know this for example at Toyota it doesn’t matter if you bought the used one (here extends the guarantee by one year each when you have a service performed.) Thank you for the help. Unfortunately I did not find the right topic.

KIA & Hyundai – Rolls in N position – Possible?
In a threat to brake discs, the idea came up to let the car roll in N-position in order to prevent recuperation, in order to load the discs more strongly. I remember in an English-language forum a statement for this, that one should not do this because it can damage the gearbox. Background were the missing gear paddles of the old Ioniq generation. To simulate the sliding / rolling came up the idea, the gearbox nevertheless simply In this forum, however, a warning was given not to do so. Also in the manual of our PHEVs, it says not to let the car roll on N at higher speeds and for longer periods of time. For short towing trips at low speeds, the OK is, but not at 100km/h. Background is the function of a double coupling gearbox. Unlike most manual gears, the gears do not simply run in an oil bath, but will be This oil pump is directly connected to the input shaft. The oil pump may also have other tasks. The output shaft of the transmission is connected directly to the wheels via the differential. This means that when the wheels rotate, the output shaft also rotates, and the connected gears in the transmission. The oil pump is connected to the input shaft because it does not have to cover as large a speed range as the output shaft. With our PHEVs, the E-motor is firmly connected to the input shaft. The burner can be coupled to the input shaft, or connected to the HSG (starter generator). Unfortunately, neither the E-motor nor the burner or the HSG rotates in the N-position. Therefore, the input shaft also stands in the following, which leads to the stoppage of the oil pump. This, in turn, allows the gears to run dry, which increases the wear extremely. In a VW forum similar things were discussed. There was an official position name of VW. There it was said that you should not do it, but it would not be a problem, because the burner still runs in idle mode and thus maintains the lubrication. Besides, the gearbox is not loaded. If the burner was also switched off, it would be a problem indeed. But that is exactly the case with us.

Kona Electro charging power reduced
Hello, I have finally loaded my Kona Electro and it yesterday with my father-in-law and today with me at the Schuko socket. Today with me for test purposes, because I noticed something yesterday with my father-in-law. And that is every time I have looked, how far the charge is, the charging power is reduced to 0.5 kW according to the display. So: Go to the car, unlock, open the door, check the display message. Interestingly, after a few seconds is I tried the whole thing with my socket and went out again to check the display. With the same result: I open the door and the display shows me 0.5 kW, after a few seconds it runs high to 2.1/2.2 kW We actually suspected an overheating protection, but all connections are ok in temperature. The calculated charging time runs down as planned… Is that ever the power up to 2.0 kW again. Is there an explanation? Thank you very much.

Decision-making aid! Difference Ioniq HEV and PHEV
Hello, since I changed my employer and my work path now only about 4 km have to be my diesel away. Since I am an absolute e-car fan I want to go in the direction as well. But 1 year waiting time paired with the possibly too low range+ the price drove me from pure E Ioniq to hybrid. The Kia Niro plug in I have already driven the Hundai Ioniq hybrid too and I have to say the Hyundai is better than the plug in Ki as a pure hybrid around worlds a. Now I have read that switching to the petrol engines is not as well regulated as with pure hybrids, which is also in my experience according to the two test drives. So the question arises to me, is this really so that the plugs in the engine management have realized differently and then maybe run a little less and in the hybrid mode the consumption is higher than with a pure hybrid, or is my determination rather to push on the difference Niro to Ioniq? I hope hi he has experienced someone who goes further than mine. Should it be different from the Ioniq – Kia then still the question arises, with my driver profile 8 km daily from it a steep mountain down and back up, otherwise a super chilled and forward looking driver who swims rather than races. What makes more sense plug in or pure hybrid? Thanks for your help I make the decision just really not easy. Mfg Pay
