  • Hyundai Santa Fe cruise control defective

Moin, we have been calling for a week a Hyundai Santa Fe from 2005 our own (V6 2.7 l, automatic, autogasanl.). During the test drive we noticed that the cruise control does not work. On the steering wheel there are 4 keys: “on/off”, “cancel”, “set” and “reset”. The cruise control cannot be activated by the “on/off” button; the “cuise” display in the amaturary board does not light up and there is also no speed “set”. “, so activate the cruise control while pedaling the brake at the same time, which does not work. The fuse is OK and all the buttons work (measured). Can you help me further what I should check next, or where I can find the control of the cruise control? Thanks for your help David

  • Transmission and coupling problems

Hello! I would like to know if some of you have already had experiences with Hyundai’s prowess and how you would assess the prospects in my case. Or has someone already had similar experiences? I could read a few lines about this….but still my story about it: On 16.02.2012 I made a used Hyundai ix35 (05.10.2010) with 120 KW as gasoline and thus acquired my first Hyundai. Coverable in price, with So I was convinced to buy a good car and I really enjoyed driving. With 5 years warranty (i.e. on purchase still 3), what should go wrong, especially since I also assumed that Hyundai also offers quality. However, I was taught a better one today, after the workshop manager handed me the Hiops message, that there is probably a damage to the gearbox and the clutch and next week with the cost advance Despite the fact that all inspection intervals have been observed and the inspections have been carried out according to the manufacturer’s specifications, a gearbox after not even 6 years and a mileage of just 114,000 km???? does not belong to my driving style, because with family and a now 7-year-old son you probably don’t get excited about the PS. And then, of course, just after the end of the 5 years! Sow ohl the workshop as well as I have now made contact with Hyundai and I am very excited to see how they will react. I would be happy to receive experiences, tips and answers.

  • Santa Fe high pressure pump

Hello together, my Santa Fe 2,2 CDI with 200000 km has stopped on the highway. After the diagnosis of a workshop the high pressure pump is defective, one has found in the pump chips. First thought : such a crap….. The demand for what now for possibilities came the statement: Throwing away If the pump is changed it may be that chips have placed themselves in the injection nozzles and these then also have to be replaced, moreover there is the possibility that the running bushings even when the car is running again, there is the possibility that after a few weeks it will again blablabla….and and and possibly and so on. Repair costs above ground not feasible. My plan: buy used pump (have already one) , install, flush and filter fuel systems, test. how high is the probability that this leads to the desired success, are the objections of the mechanics really so high in probability? Thanks if ever one answers my questions, doesn’t really know what to do… Desperado

  • Deception on the Hyundaiwebsite

Hi guys, I was just looking around on the official website of Hyundai and I looked at the models Tucson and Santa Fe a little bit more closely to compare them. Since the Santa Fe is in the basic equipment about 10,000€ above the Tucson, I was a little surprised when I saw that both of them are almost the same in the performance specification. But now I noticed something that I can only see as an attempt to deceive the Tucson. The information that can be taken from the same graphic, which is available for almost every model on the website, is given in kW by the Santa Fe, as it is common today – but in PS by the Tucson! Thus, it is first suggested that the Tucson has more than a third more power than it actually has. On the website, otherwise almost all models have the indication also in kW. Since I felt a bit silly now, because otherwise what intention should be behind this deviation of the representation? I took a screenshot of both graphics, you can find them on the official website of the respective models under the section “Technique”. This reminds me strongly of the deception of VW (and also some other manufacturers if I am not mistaken), the shorthand simple, in addition to the worst efficiency class G, a In the meantime, you really have to look very carefully at the car purchase… What do you think about it?

  • is it supposed to be due to the injection nozzles ?

These error codes have been read out by me, I would like to ask now specifically what you mean or what it could be. A user from Berlin has already given me some tips and I am now waiting for a competent second opinion. The car does not stutter, does not run on three cylinders and runs well, only this yellow lamp Chek I can not get deleted anymore. The only thing that strikes me again and again is the rev indicator, sometimes it falls off during the ride around also w Error code P 0300 Combustion oscillators, error code P 0320 Ignition/Zünddistribution/Motor speed Signal/Function feherlhaft Error code P 0320 Speed signal not detected.

Now my question is the Lamdasonde broken or what to do.You may know what to do the error has occurred several times. Mfg Gerhold

  • Santa Fe BJ 2003, Diesel, starts with trouble

Hello all, At minus temperatures my Santa Fe, BJ 2003, Diesel, Mucken. It doesn’t start. The engine goes crazy, battery seems full, but nothing happens. What I find very strange, the battery is full, but if we bridge the car, it starts up and drives without problems. If I have driven for a while, then I have no problems at the start. Only in the morning when it is really cold. The battery is installed in a workshop only in August where can anyone tell me what power the battery must have? I can’t find anything in the manual. LG Ulko

  • Santa Fe engine suspension

Hello, I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe and have a strange problem. Just wanted to start on vacation, then at the traffic light the engine shuts down. It jerked short and then there was nothing more. Panning service arrived about half an hour later and curious way the car jumped again. He stank improbably and squirted powerfully out of the exhaust. continued my trip and after 250km the CHECK ENGINE light went on. Drive next day into the Hyundai contract workshop, which read the error from mixture to Magnificent. Recommended me to refuel the “good” fuel. Well, I refueled super and drove almost two tank fillings empty and the error was still there. Drive on to my workshop and they started to check: spark plugs ok. Lamdasonde ok. ignition coil ok. all hoses or vacuum cable ok. You suspect an electrical error (control unit) Please urgently for help, who has a similar or even same problem and hasts got fixed. Thanks in advance.

  • High fuel consumption Santa Fe CM 2.2 CRDI

Hello, I drive a 2.2 CRDI (2WD) BJ07. Meanwhile 185000km. For more than a year it needs about 10l/100km. Before about 8l/100km. In addition (not exactly at the same time, a little later) a temporarily illuminating or flashing MIL. The visit of two Hyundai workshops led to the exchange of the AGR valve and the differential pressure sensor. The high consumption and the luminous MIL could not be impressed. The statement of the master/mounteur of the last plant. “When the MIL lights up again, the DPF has to be replaced.” (according to the previous owner, the DPF has already been cleaned once). Now I have changed the DPF myself, for a product from the accessory. The MIL no longer lights up; the consumption is still as high as before. In my opinion, the error did not occur from the “clogged” DPF, but from a tube clogged by Dieselruss to the differential pressure sensor. Now I read with the ScanMaster software at the OBDII-Ans Cluss the following values: under “not permanently monitored components”: AGR does not support completed below This vehicle is not ready for exhaust gas testing. Under “real-time data” Number of hot-run cycles since last fault erasure 28 Do I quite assume that with a certain number of hot-run cycles the message “This vehicle is not ready for exhaust gas testing” disappears? What can cause the high fuel consumption still? Gruss Frankie
