Hello Forians, do you also have problems with the partial leather seats? Driver’s seat was replaced after 2 and after 4 years. Leather parts of the seat porous and even torn in the second time. Both times exchanged on warranty. Passenger’s seat now after 4 years porous and threatening to tear. This seat is hardly used!!!!!! Answer from Hyundai: That would be normal wear, no guarantee. Please? In my opinion a leather seat after 4 years may not look like this yet. 29000 KM down and, as I said, the passenger seat is used only little. Every motorcycle seat lasts longer, although the much more loads are exposed. Do you have similar experiences? Greetings Frank

Keyless Key Hyundai Tucson NX4
After a short normal ride I parked the vehicle. After 20 minutes I came back, wanted to open the car with the Keyless key – nothing worked anymore. Opening the door was no longer possible. Did anyone ever have that?

Interval fan motor
Today I noticed that the fan engine, although the engine was warmed up for about 1 hour, did not turn on when the engine was running idle for 10 minutes. Is this normal with the Tucson JM/2.0 gasoline engine? I have never had vehicles that did not need the fan at least every 3 – 4 minutes in idle/stow. As soon as the climate is switched on, the fan runs with – as it should be. Upper and lower cooling hose become hot. ==References==

Tacho deviations in Hyundai models
Today I noticed in the Tucson JM that the speedometer indicator runs up to 8 to 10 % against the Navi.Lt. Tacho Tempo 50: Navi = 54 km/h – Tempo 100: Navi = 111 km/h The same navigator indicates exactly the same value in the Volvo as the speedometer, no slight deviation. Does anyone have any information or experience about the Hyundai speedometers; possibly even in the form of warning money? Side remark: Both vehicles have standard tyres.

All-wheel connection bad ???
Hello, write here for the first time. I drive a Hyundai Santa Fe 2 (CM) 2.2 CRDi (Automatics) , was recently for inspection in Hyundai workshop. But for information in advance: I used to drive a Ford Explorer (USA Model) (Automatics).I was advised by another Exi driver to drive better with wet and in winter with four-wheeled access. Also the car is better on the road. I got used to that and drove almost day and night with four-wheel. in the Hyundai workshop with my current car it was said that I should NOT turn the four wheel ONLY when I drive into the terrain. WHY: the gearbox would suffer from it and the fuel consumption would be higher. I replied, however, that I am of the opinion that the car is “more solid, more stable” on the road, almost like on rails. The “nice” gentleman then said that this was only ONE EDUCATION. So, wah, I can believe. Does someone know exactly how the behavior is or should I know myself oh yes, the consumption is not less since I drive without four-wheel drive. Thank you already. Until then Su

Tucson EURO 6 – also software update required?
Hello Tucson – driver, I drive a Tucson 2.0 Diesel, year 2017, 4 WD with Euro 6!!! Now I hear in the news constantly that not only EURO 5 but also EURO 6 vehicles should receive a repair by a software update. Hyundai was not mentioned explicitly as manufacturer in the messages, nevertheless I ask myself whether my Tucson is also affected by this? If one of you here in the Hyundai forum may already find out if, for example, the Tucson Euro 6 is affected by this? Thanks already for your answers. All a good ride and best regards status1953

Motor anti-freeze for Hyundai Tucson BJ 2017
What antifreeze? I have been driving a Hyundai Tucson petrol for a year, 1.6 l, 177 hp, BJ 2017 and ask the following question on behalf of some other drivers who also drive the Tucson and have the same problem: My cooling water shows a 15 ° frost protection. That’s why I wanted to increase the protection somewhat. Unfortunately, the information in the Hyundai workshops is not uniform. The one multi-brand workshop sells a red Opel-Fr for the Hyundai east protection (a blue-green frost protection was filled in from the factory), the other contract workshop sold “G12”, the 3rd contract workshop fills G30 from BASF. All assure, one should only take this frost protection for the Tucson engine sold by them. Which frost protection is now ok? Until 1 year ago I drove VW and bought a frost protection in the workshop with the inscription: “Only for VW engines” Therefore, there was never any discussion about which frost protection can be taken. E s is finally also about the possible loss of warranty claims. Friendly greetings ingebert

Schematic of the Hyundai-ix-35-2.0-136hp-4WD diesel
Hello, good day, I wanted to check the ground connections on the vehicle and ask if anyone has a table or documents for it. My rear view camera does not display any display except the beep tones. This occurred after the car wash and apart from possible humidity in the camera I wanted to check the ground connections. Thanks Achim
