  • IX35 Seat defective

Hello, I’ve been driving an IX35 for three years (50,000 km) and I’m getting tired of it. The car cost more than 33,000 EUR in equipment. I’ve always had some flaws. 1. bonnet flutters 2. The car has a very loud engine noise, which means the insulation is not very high. 3. The sunroof pushes against a rubber lip, which stands out a bit (estimated half a millimeter). 4. Navi: for the Spartan functionalities much too expensive. For example, the addresses of my contacts cannot be transferred to the Navi. 5. Processing is not OK. (The driver’s seat knattert) but the worst: 6. I already have the 3rd driver’s seat, which is now already defective. Even if I don’t pay for it, the guarantee expires in 2 years and I stay at the expense or on the defective seat in the truest part of the world. The hard plastic formwork of the seat is designed in such a way that the side flank of the seat drills into it when the coupling is activated. Of course, it can now be said that this is due to my weight, but I used to drive 2 Santa Fe, each with 120,000 km and 90,000 km. There it did not occur and I weighed just as much. I think I will look around so slowly for another mark if I have been driving Hyundai for almost 11 years. But before that it was always the Santa Fe. There were no such defects. I really regret that. Can someone say something about these defects or does someone know how to fix them? I am very grateful for suggestions.

  • Never again Hyundai

My Hyundai Sata Fe 2.0 CRDI, first registration 01.2004 has a transmission damage at a mileage of 92000 km. This can not be accepted with such a low mileage. As the warranty period has of course expired I made several bulwark requests. These were although the vehicle is maintained (all inspections available ) cold smiling with the indication of the age of the vehicle ( 7 years !!! ). Remember, competitors of the company Hyundai give b You can calculate on 5 fingers what Hyundai looks like with confidence in your own vehicles and in terms of customer satisfaction. I will change again to vehicles from Japanese production, whose reliability I never had anything to say about my previous vehicles. Here are the original quotes of the company Hyundai: 1. many thanks for your request of March 12, 2012. You write us that you have our Ents we have not been able to meet your client’s wishes. Therefore, of course, we understand that you are now contacting us again. If we are talking about the subject of culanz, it is not always easy to understand the other’s point of view and to find a common solution. You have once again explained your arguments to us. We thank you for that! If you are not satisfied with our answer, we will only be able to re-examine the requirements of our customers if we are able to meet the repair costs incurred. However, your Hyundai Santa Fe is no longer in the manufacturer’s warranty in the eighth year of operation and since January 2008. Even if you will not be satisfied with our answer, we will only be able to re-examine our first calculation. We wish you all the best and always good driving with Hyundai. 2. thank you for your feedback. We deeply regret that the transmission of your Hyundai Santa Fe has to be repaired. Unfortunately, it is not possible to grant a lifetime warranty on a product like an automobile. Despite the mileage you mentioned, the vehicle is still in the eighth year of operation and therefore far beyond the warranty and culling possibilities. Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you very much, Mr President-in-Office of the Council, for the excellent work you have done.

  • What’s annoying about the IX 35

Hello together A few things are not optimal…with other SUPER car!!! I wrote about my collapsed glass roof elsewhere. Was maybe a material error… But…what annoys: 1.) Seat heating is much too weak!! With my BMW I get warmed up to grilled after 3 minutes. BEim IX 35 is getting lukewarm after eternity! 2.) Hand-free device is absolutely useless with me. Coupled with my Iphone: No person understands me if I don’t get 1cm before the Mi 3.) I never use the navigator with sound. However, it is necessary for every manipulation (new route, other route option) to switch off again in the menu, settings, audio, the navigation statements. Nervt unnecessary. Can be switched off permanently at BMW. 4.) Dehumidification is too weak. When I get into the cold car after a walk in spite of maximum ventilation with AC everything runs on. Conclusion: A SUPER car with small defects. I hope Hyundai reads In the bad winter weather ever I was super good on the road, like on rails. I’ve never come so good through the winter here in the Black Forest

  • Change IX35 2.0 to gas

Hello, one of you already had his IX35 converted to gas. If yes, which plant, how expensive etc. Lt. statement of Hyundai Germany are only the gas plants of BRC and Lovato released. I got today in writing. (see below) What bothers me a bit, in the plant were authorized dealers indicated, where one can install the gas plant. After telephone demand at Hyundai Germany, an installation would only be advisable with these predetermined dealers, because Garan a local gas retrofitter would install the same plant almost 200 euros cheaper than an authorized Hyundai workshop. Hyundai workshop: 2700 € local gas retrofitter: 2510 € What irritates me very much about this thing, my car dealer recommended me this gas retrofitter, because they do not make any modifications themselves. But this gas retrofitter is not in the dealer list of Hyundai. Another Hyundai car dealership will get me a gas retrofitter, which installs Prinsysteme. Does everything speak to the writing of Hyundai? Or what do you think?

  • Fir or drive belts torn, worth repair?

Hello and have a nice evening at all! I’m “new” here, so please forgive me if I should do something wrong…. After being torn on the highway of the front (or also called drive belts ), I have now received various statements from “experts”… from up to is not worth it, you can only see about that when you have opened the engine block and see how many valves and pistons are damaged up to that you could not give any guarantee that the engine after the repair Who of you has experience and can really tell me what to do? The car has just been paid off for a few months, was a new car and with us in first hand… And now everything SCHROTT ???? The mileage is about 82,000km. The transmission has already been replaced before about 10,000km…. Unfortunately must drive often and a lot with a trailer…. • Santa Fe 2,4 rotary zalometer without function P0320

Hello together, I’m a little desperate! I’ve read the old articles about this topic. But I’m not a car mechanic and don’t bother the car workshop master anymore. Problem: – In the middle of this year, the motor lamp started to light up Error code 320 Mottorrotzalingang too low – malfunction Error code 122 Droselcap/pedal sensor A signal too small The car drove until now but still normal. When the car started getting misignition, do The ADAC dragged me to the workshop. The Hyundai workshop told me to change the timing belt set (which had to be changed anyway) and have the crankshaft sensor replaced. This was also made 870€ the Aut is driving again, but the rotary zalometer still doesn’t work (looks like a wackler. Sometimes it doesn’t go sometimes) and the Aut is driving again, but the rotary zalometer still doesn’t work (looks like a wackler. Motor light is burning again. The Werstattmeister again leaves the error code : P0320 Motor rotary input to nidrieg (insulation sensor malfunction) No one knows what the isolation sensor should be?? I don’t know how to proceed. The master said he had to disassemble the car now, because it would be either the ECU, cable breakage or bugger or even the amatures defective… He continues to say that no matter what it is, everything always costs about 1000€ to 1500€ and that’s definitely for me Can any of you give me a tip on what to do?

  • Santa Fe questions to connoisseurs

Hello everyone, so I’ve had an old Santa Fe year 2001 for about half a year. He’s got to the 200tkm down, LPG system and should pull with me off & to horse trailers. So now to the problem: He always made bad in the morning & the speeds waved back & forth. He took gas only after about 1 min. He ran however when he then jumped like a bee. When I drove a 350 km long drive with trailer, he suddenly started to boom strongly in the engine room. From me on the driver’s seat to the right in the Moto rraum. I was at Hyundai the next day, but after hours of waiting nothing came out, except that he is no longer a new car. I spoke to the air mass meter because of the start (I have read here) but the workshop master thought it could, but he doesn’t have to hum and does elsewhere. Engine light burned off and let read out 2 times: mixture to lean and once came air mass meter. He doesn’t buzz in the decoupled state (so step at the clutch) at all. I ssse the clutch again – no matter if in the stand o. when driving then it buzzes in the front right loudly, it is almost a tube. I also wanted to change the ignition coils with my father – have 2 new ones lying, but we do not find these in the engine room – so please short description would be great. So now please laugh at a woman who is interested, but has no idea about it. I courte on your help! Estelle

  • IX35: Is the CRDI 1.7 enough with 116 hp ?

Hello together, I wanted to order the Hyundai ix35 2.0 GDI petrol with 166 hp. But because of the long delivery time of 3-4-5 (depending on the dealer other statements) it is not possible. There are very good CRDI 1.7 with 116 hp offers which cost almost as much as the 2.0 petrol, especially with EU dealers, which are immediately available. I now confuse the official performance data, the 116PS diesel is apparently with 260 Nm in the acceleration better than the kr Somehow he needs 2 seconds more from 0 to 100. However, I read here in the forum that the 116 hp to 140 kmH is absolutely good and also fun. That would be really enough for us, because we don’t want to race, but just when we started to get there. The 135 hp petroler was tested and in my opinion was just too weak. If someone has experiences with the model compared to the (old) large engine, then it would be a good idea. Nziner?

  • Hyundai Santa Fe Fire Risk BJ 2008

Hello actually I would like to warn here only all Santa Fe members of a Hyundai Santa Fe Bj 2008. For about 1 year our model had when starting the multiple complete power failure It was not battery which was replaced by us by a new gradually we came up with it (with the help of my local workshop, because the next Hyundai is 50km away) that the mass cable of the battery (attachment to the body) loosened. r after a few weeks The local workshop had already pointed out that due to rust and looseness of the screws the current flow is not guaranteed cleanly After the last problem case I had to examine the car at the local workshop. Conclusion: The screws of the fastening were rusted, loose and no longer usable because not retractable. It had to be flexed out !!! The workshop said that the highest fire risk existed !!!! Hyundai interested in the overha I don’t think about it and didn’t want to take part in my costs of about 300.- Euro with any cent. Extended warranty, culantry and customer loyalty. Just because I didn’t drive my defective car to the Hyundai workshop 50km away Hyundai died for me and that’s why I want to point out to everyone else this maladministration.
