  • OTA for Tucson Facelift 2025 (NX4e) ?

    Hello, quick question in the round: can my Tucson Hybrid Facelift 2025 (NX4e, October 2024) now OTA updates or not? I was/m of the opinion that I have read in the vehicle description (FOR the purchase) that this Tucson can do that. Meanwhile I have doubts… Does anyone know exactly?   • 1.6 GDI Oil consumption

    Hello, it’s about the Hyundai of my sister. The car ran about 120,000km. It’s the 1.6 GDI, unfortunately the oil consumption is too high in my opinion. On about 900-1000 kilometers the oil level drops from maximum to minimum. Noteworthy for extreme short distance (3x daily approx. 3 kilometers) I was with the car a week ago in Croatia, before I did an oil change with the filter with the Motul 5w40 Xcess to see if something changes. (The contract factory sta.) dt always fills 5w-30). Result: after 2600 kilometers the oil level is close to minimum. The cooling water is clean, there is no blue smoke from the exhaust. I have read that the problem with the engine is known, is that true? Is there a defect or is it so ok? Thank you in advance.

  • Purchase considerations for Daimler Double Six or Jag V12

    At the moment I drive an XKR Convertible Bj 2007 and have become a total Jag. fan. Now I think about buying a Daimler Double Six or Jag V12. The cars are quite cheap to get in the CH. I would drive max. 5’000 km a year and would have the car the XKR only as a hobby. What do I have to bear in mind that I don’t finance the workshop. Can’t really make a contribution to the maintenance except oil. I found two offers, you are interested in: 1. D Aimler Double Six, built in 06/96 with 85’000 km for Euro 10’000.00, 2nd Daimler Double Six, built in 01/94 with 59’500 km for Euro 11’000. Are the Jag. 12 cylinders what, for one who can’t do anything himself on the engine, or leave their fingers behind? Thank you for your opinions and best regards from Switzerland.

    Hello, I’m currently driving a BMW 520d (E61) and I love the new Jaguar XF 2.2 D. I’ve been driving well with BMW so far and I’m very satisfied, but after the 13th BMW I’d like to do something different (with Audi and Mercedes being no alternative for me). Since I drive a lot (50-60 tkm p. a.) I’m interested in general whether there are former 5-man drivers here in the Jaguar camp who want to say something about their impressions and feelings.
