XF daytime running light
Hi XFler, does anyone know if you can retrofit the XF daytime running light? Who offers this and who installs it? So other “little things” stand out: No fog lights (and that with a car from England), no parking light and no daytime driving light. If an AHK is mounted, the rear parking sensors are not switched off. All standard among the competitors. XF 2,7 D/Arden PL oesti1942

From E500 (w211) to XJR (x308) ???
Servus together, I drive an E500 and think about selling this possibly and switching to an XJR X308 because I like the look very much. An x350 does not come into question, because it seems to me already too massive and by far not as sporty as the x308. If then I would decide for a model from year 2000 with under 125tkm. What do you think of such a plan? Totally crazy or ok? What must you pay attention to with the x308? – what are weak points? en? Spare parts situation ect. I know of my XJS that some spare parts are very difficult to obtain and by way of detours, as it no longer supplies jaguar. Is this similar to the x308? What is a justified price for a well-preserved xjr from bj 2000?

Jaguar engines 2.5L and 2.7D respectively
Hello community, plan to buy me a Jaguar S-Type with a 2.5 L petrol or 2.7L diesel soon. Who has experience with these engines? Had already an S-Type with the 3.0L V6 and was very satisfied. Is the 2.5L also as reliable as the 3.0L or is it more prone to repair? What about the 2.7L diesel engine? Does anyone know from whom the automatic transmissions come from Jaguar, who is the supplier? Obviously, the automatic transmission is not as reliable as the V6 3.0L engine. Each message is gratefully noted. Greetings, Jagfan

Autogas system for Jag X300
Hello Jaguar municipality, the question is simple and yet not trivial. How reliable are autogas systems in a Jaguar X300 ( 4.0 liters) . Which are recommended, or better to let the fingers of it, because there is only trouble and they lead to engine damage in the long term ? How high should the cost of a serious offer to the LPG conversion be ? Are there recommendations in the Berlin area for this ? If there are good arguments for the switch to car gas, is something special for the Jag to Note ? Thanks Volga-Olga

Distance disks/track broadening for XKR–> which..??
Moin have the 18″ Alu standard rim on my 98er XKR and find it also optically OK especially since the tyre width is sufficient with 265/45r18 but the wheel boxes are huge and the wheels are a bit far inside….I would like to see it stand a little richer on the road and I have thought of a discreet track widening….has someone a recommendation for me which brand or manufacturer is to recommend there and how much mm per side without stress with the TÜV offers itself..?? vo rab thanks for the tips mfg Andy

What does the hose belong to???
Hello 3 weeks ago my car was in the Mainz jaguar workshop. There the catalyst was changed. A week ago I rented a deep garage parking space. today I wanted to peek after the car, and my brother immediately noticed that a tube hangs under the front…. I wanted to get to know what it belongs exactly to it. maybe someone knows it here!!! I gelled up the car so that I can take better photos. Besides, I wanted to just a little bit before d drive back. It was funny!!!!! I released the handbrake and let go of the brake (he slows down slowly, automatic). But he stopped and only when I gave a bit of gas, it hit and the car shook very strongly. the second time everything was normal. The first picture (picture 1), as you can see, is torn down at the bottom right of the front. That was already in front of the workshop. Do you know what this is for??? The second picture (picture 22) there you see the hose under the car! !! Does anyone know what that belongs to??? third picture (picture3) If you don’t know what the hose belongs to, I photographed the way of the hose!! So now the question still arises… The car was recently in the workshop…. I don’t know if it just happened, if someone did something in the deep garage, or if something like that was done in the workshop. So that you go there more often, there were already cases. I hope you can help, many thanks to all already
