  • Front bracket

Hello, my Santa Fe (SM) should definitely have a front bar. Now there should be 2 different for it. One until 2004 (facelift) and one from 2004. My fairy is from 2005. Does the handle from the front lift really not fit there? Are the screw points different? The offer in the net is very clear. Can you give me a tip? Greeting, Christian!

  • Engine loses power and goes off

Hello experts, my Santa was noticed by a bit of inertia while accelerating. I first saw if the hand brake was still dressed, of course it wasn’t. Was then about 15 km far in the city and on the way back it became worse and worse. I could only drive in the 3rd gear, then in the 2nd and in the 1st and the engine no longer took any gas. Finally I stopped 10 meters in front of my house! At the same time the engine lamp came. In the workshop the message Zyl ignition breaker came when reading out. 4. After the extinguishing, no more lamp came. Since I still have a similar driving predecessor to stand around for slaughter, the nice people recommended me to just change ignition coils and candles. Made, nevertheless, did not go better. Then they thought it could also be the petrol filter, or the pump. Both changed (even new!). Engine ran for a while quite joyless (in the stand) and took on less and less gas and finally went out again. in or too little petrol. It gets warm or hot pretty fast. In the meantime I also pulled out the LMM, because it goes into the emergency run program, but it was not. In the OBD app also flow flow and temperature are displayed. Now I am rather perplexed. It looks like something has slowly but surely happened. Does any of you have any idea? Desperate greetings DonCavallo

  • Stuttering when starting + ESP + downhill assistance

Hello, this morning something very funny happened to me with my 1.7 CRDI (116hp, 6-speed switch) from 2011. It can be described as follows: If the car is cold, it starts normal. If it is switched off afterwards and started again (5-10 minutes), it stutters two to three times when starting and then starts. All warning lights go off. If you turn off the car again, it stutters significantly longer with two possible results: If it runs (even after starting with stuttering) the car is running normally. I have read out the error memory with Torque as well as with a PC software, there is nothing in it. Does anyone know this phenomenon?

  • My new vision

Hello-good morning! I would like to introduce myself briefly: I am Rainer (57) from Nds. and will get my Hyundai Santa Fe Premium front drive next Wednesday. Extra me decided against all-wheel drive. In Munich it was probably very vulnerable and expensive? After almost 40 years I left the Munich car brand because my last Fzg.X3 no longer met the premium demand, also price-performance ratio. After the conversion-adjustment phase w I would be pleased to be able to contribute actively here in the forum, productively with advice and action. I look forward to it! Happy weekend and greetings from the North Sea. Rainer; BMW-F11-Fan

  • It’s supposed to be the Santa Fe, now I have a diesel problem!

Hello everybody, we are currently looking for a new vehicle. It is supposed to be bigger, an SUV and definitely have automatic. In the search we have “in love” with the new Santa Fe and see it as well as bought. But now comes the dilemma … it exists exclusively as a diesel! I will probably drive the car daily, however, here we usually speak of only a few kilometers. Operating temperature he will not reach. For a diesel natür Does anyone already have experience with the CRDi on short distance? How is it generally determined by Hyundai around the Diesel. I read in the forum that Hyundai probably installs a kind of preheating system in the diesels. Does that bring what? I know of course that the cleaning program for the DPF will often enter here, or I have to “wash it through” at the weekend. But does it work too?! I would just like to hear your opinions and tips, because at Hyundai I do not have the optimal working environment. ai am new. Thank you very much! PS: Bitter don’t tear me apart.

  • 6. Aisle slips through when it’s cold

Hello Sante-Fe municipality, maybe one of you has already had the same problem and possibly also a solution for it. Since recently the 6th gear slips through when I start at temperatures of 0°C in the morning. The automatic switches into the 6th gear, but it slips through, i.e. speed up to over 3,000 at approx. 100 km/h. After approx. 1-2 km the automatic switches again cleanly into the 6th gear without slipping. Do any of you have an idea? Thank you very much.

  • Hyundai SUV with diesel Euro 6d-Temp for short distance???

Hello to the forum, We would like to buy a new car in the next 3 weeks. A SUV from Hyundai – either the Santa Fe or the Tuscon. Not yet fixed. We are faced with the question – diesel or gasoline? We drive 85 % short distance in the city (shopping, child to KiTa/school etc.) and only on the weekend we make trips with the 2 children in the area – then also sometimes further away (also highway rides). In addition 2 times a year holiday in BRD – mostly to the lake. It is time that the short distance is the death for the diesel. Because the catalyst does not get hot during the short distance and thus the soot particle filter continues to increase. Also there is a problem with the oil! However, the dealer says that the new diesel with the exhaust gas standard Euro 6d-Temp are so SAUBER that the danger that the soot particle filter is added is no longer there or is to be neglected. Thus the new diesel would also be suitable for short distance……….. Are the new diesels really so clean with the Euro 6d-Temp standard? Are these generally future-proof? We live in the countryside on the Lower Rhine – the next big city, which is affected by driving bans, is far away. Diesel driving bans are therefore not really of interest to us at all. An SUV with almost 2 tons of weight without diesel – so with gasoline – really advises us EVERYONE. Do you see that as well? I’ve been researching the Internet for hours. No matter who I ask – no one can answer the questions reasonably. Can you help me in the forum? Can someone help me and give me tips. Thank you very much.

  • Number plate lighting LED

Hello dear forists, I would like to upgrade my wife’s 2017 Tucson license plate lighting to LED, as all lamps, whether interior, entry bar or door street lighting, are LEDs. Do you have a tip, which pears are eligible? Many greetings and thanks in advance Matthias

  • Santa Fe Ottomotor contradictory data?

If the motorization offered for the Santa Fe petrol engine has 185 hp, why doesn’t it drive 200km/h? Why does the box need more than 10 seconds from 0 to 100? And if it doesn’t come right from Fleck, why does it need so much and supposedly has so much hp? Isn’t there something wrong with the translation that it starts slowly up to 50, and has more than enough power on the highway? Example: A VW Tiguan petrol engine with 180 hp drives 210, probably locked off, and is in 7 secu nd on 100. For this he needs 2 liters to 100km less (okay, maybe Google NEDC has delivered, then he needs the same amount). Weight is also not so much different. Please convince me that with any measures a coherent package will be or since any measurement errors have happened, I like the car in itself (even though the trunk is quite small compared to the current one), and I am looking for an all-wheel petrol engine.

  • Hyundai Terracan – rear axle breaks out

Help – we bought a terracan with switchable all-wheel drive (EZ 12/2006). U.A. he should serve us as a towing vehicle to transport occasionally 1-2 horses. Now my wife drove to an event on the weekend, when driving on the rain-wet highway (U-curve) and the necessary acceleration process the stern broke out and (probably as a result) also the trailer. Luckily my wife was able to catch the train again, but the fright was v In the first place, it was huge. Dannach only went on at the snail’s pace. Who knows this problem? How can you best meet it? Is it useful to drive in the trailer operation generally with an attached four-wheeler? I have already read one or the other time that when using the four-wheel drive on dry road, there can be “stresses”. What do I have to imagine and which defects can result from this? Would an EU import with permanent Al A lot of questions at once, I hope, nevertheless, someone knows the problem and can give me helpful tips on how to use our “TC”. (otherwise he is really fun) Thank you KapitaenPLV
