Remodeling help with XJ8 V8 4.0 engine
Hello, so gaaaaaannz big problem: the following beautiful vehicle: Jaguar XJ8 V8 4.0, year of construction: 2001, engine identification letter: BC The beautiful car has a motor damage. So I got on the search and found one: Jaguar XJ 8 4.0 year of construction 1998, engine identification letter: BC The seller (who is serious, much deals with Jaguar parts) guaranteed me that this engine fits into our vehicle. Sooo… Engine bought (extra 400 km per direction), so I want with the installation fan and see the following: My ́alter ́ motor has 2 tap sensors and 2 camshaft adjusters The ́neue ́ motor has only 1 tap sensor and 2 camshaft adjusters Hmmm.. I contacted the men and told him that, he swears that this engine fits, but you have to change something !! Since he is very ill and I can not reach him unfortunately, I hope and pray very much that I can possibly help a HERE !!! For every tip I am grateful !!

Jaguar XK 4.2 Used vehicle
A wonderful good morning dear community, I play with the idea of buying an XK, but I don’t have the slightest idea what I should pay attention to when buying, therefore my questions to you: 1. Where are the weak points in the XK from year 2007 on? 2. Is a high mileage is to be seen? (from 150tkm – 200tkm) 3. Is a transmission oil flushing necessary? And if so, is this noted in the checkbook? 4. What is the actual consumption in the city? This one at over 17 l. 5. Coupe or convertible? I love both variants, just wonderful ^^ The problem with the convertible probably is wind noises, or am I wrong? 6. What would this fun have to cost me in the purchase? The price differences are enormous, from 14,000 to over 30,000 € everything is there. Everyone probably has his own price idea, but what is an XK actually worth until 2009? PS: All sellers I have called up to now assured me that no defects exist In addition, a dealer offers an XK 4.2 with “increased oil consumption”, then it ponders in me, because one can find this kind of deficiency neither in the workshop nor during a test drive. Jaguar used car (following costs, reliability)
Hello, so far I used to drive a used 94 C-Class. I bought the then extremely cheap for 1000 euros and so over two years invested so again 23,000 euros in maintenance and repairs. In time it put on the original 120,000km again 40,000km. Problems there were few (Tacho spins sometimes, cooling water sensor also). Next year we become a Tüv think I separate because the underbody looks as if it will cause more problems in the long term. That’s why I’m looking at what an alternative would be, and I’ve stumbled across the (comfortably?) huge drop in value at Jaguar. Why does XJ of 95 cost 114,000km, stapled) single5000 euros? Somewhere must there be a catch? Are the extremely needy? I mean, the design is timeless, status is really high even with an older used person – rather oldtime level and the equipment speaks for itself. Is there any model series that should be avoided? which one you can especially recommend? Otherwise I am interested in the assessment of Jaguar as a comfortable, used limosine with a KM capacity of approx. 10,000km per year. Thanks already in advance!

Purchase advice Jaguar XF
Good evening, I’m a complete newcomer to Jaguar My new job requires a lot of flexibility, which means that I’m going to sneak around 40,000km every year on the mileage indicator. Since I don’t really want to go through so long on the highway with my old polo, I’m looking for a new car. Among other things, I met in my research on the Jaguar XF 3.0 network and I thought: Finally, a simple, elegant car without a strange detour. After all the very good feedback and tests in this forum, as well as in various articles, I am now in serious temptation to buy this car as a used car from 2010. My question now is: Which XF 3.0 should I take? The one with 211 hp, 240 hp or 271 hp? I am not a raser, more than 160 km/h you can not manage in normal running traffic anyway. I still want to be able to overtake quickly and If it is possible to drive over the motorway for a time with 200+ without loud engine noises and all too high consumption. The car probably has around 50,000km (BJ 2010/11) on the clock so far, how long will it take then until the first correct problems occur, provided the car is top in shot when purchased? My alternatives to this car would be so far the Audi A5 and the BMW 530d.

Connect daytime running light, pulse current at passing beam
Hello, someone knows this problem. Have bought a day running light 2 in 1, i.e. fog lights and day running light in the accessories trade. If instead of the fog lights are installed, fit also perfectly with the brackets. Problem is now, as soon as I connect the module to the Plus cable of the Ablelllichtes go out the day running lights, but they should only go out if I turn on the stand light. Have telephoned with the manufacturer, and this meant this with modern vehicles always a Pulse current (crack current) in which cable can be to the dipped-beam, and thus the TFG module receives the pulse the light is switched on, so turn off daytime running light. Rat de Mannen, switch a work relay between dipped-beam connection and module. Now my question, has someone had this problem before, or a relay between it, which only closes at full power output? I also found a relay on the Internet “Kfz-Relais FiC FRC5BA-DC12V 12 V/DC 1 Working contact 30 A 14 V/DC”, but am not sure if this is right and how it is then connected.

UMTS shutdown summer 2021

1. Oil change at x-type
Hello together, can someone tell me when the first oil change has to be made with the x-type as a new car (diesel) if at all? In the past, the first oil change should be made with diesel vehicles after about 1,500 km. Is this still the case with today’s engines? Thank you for your answers

Jaguar broke
Jaguar is as bad as never… The car crisis is causing a lot of empty orders… What happens when TATA gets out? …? The spare parts will last a few months and what then? Does the fleet have to be scrapped forcibly? What was it like with Rover then? Since the X type are almost inconvenient, you have to drive them through until the end, but what happens in the case of a defective one if Jaguar is no longer available?

Whether Jaguar will turn from a premium brand into a cheap product?? Would be a pity about the brand that has a myth. Tata builds the cheapest new car you can buy for 170€. That certainly won’t be sold with us because the car is not safe enough. Just imagine what the company makes of the two English brands. I ch am not a friend of Jaguar or Land Rover now, but here and there I have to say I like the cars and I personally can only hope that the two brands will stay where they are and not be raped together with cheap parts from India or China. That would really be a catastrophe. That would be just as bad as if Porsche were bought by a Trabiwerk, if there were still the good the Porsche stands for example so good there. What do you say about the sale of Jaguar and Land Rover????
