  • Jaguar XF (MY2012)

    Hello together, I would like to get a new mobile kit for the fall/winter of this year. At the moment I’m playing around with an Opel Astra (H) 1.9CDTI. The next vehicle is supposed to offer more space, comfort and performance. However, the running costs should not rise to the immeasurable, since I will mainly use the vehicle for business (–>Freelancer). Furthermore, I won’t buy a new car. First, it’s too expensive and second, the thing loses. I stumbled over the Jaguar XF 2.2D (MY2012) and must say that I can really get along with it. In short: The car is the perfect thing! At least from the look. But now I have a few questions: What are the workshop costs/inspection costs? What about the reliability? What is the difference between the leather equipment (base, bond, soft, etc.)? Does anyone have experience with the Schwabengarage for Servic? e, customer friendliness, etc.? (That would probably be one of the few dealers here in the area) I do not want to ask insurance. That depends on the individual data anyway. Thank you already in advance!! 🙂 Greetings DrMxxxxx

  • Start questions about Jaguar

    Hello you! Normally I am on the road in the Mercedes E-Class Forum when it comes to our family carriage (E280T). But now in the medium term I am looking for a replacement for my “service car” a 17 year old 3 year old coupé. Unfortunately, the substance of the 3 is no longer the best, rust at all corners and edges, so an issue of the TÜV badge in September is rather doubtful. I am mainly traveling alone with the car and indeed about 20-25tkm a year because of this the car is also converted to LPG. So for me only one car comes into question with diesel or the possibility to convert to gas (though not the strength of the Ford engines). I find the X-Type with 2.2l diesel interesting. Since I don’t know about the Jaguar series I want to be informed by you what you might recommend or tell me what you should be careful about when buying cats! Nice to have is all that has buttons I don’t find the equipment lines very speaking, a uf what should I respect this respectfully? As I already wrote, I still have time to look for a new vehicle.   • S-Type 3.0 (11/2000) Poles in the front axle

    Hello all, I bought an S-Type 3.0 l last week. The car was registered 11/2000 and has about 145 TKM down. HU u. AU had the seller re-made on 12.10.2011, whereby according to TÜV report no defects were detected. However, the car has polter noises on the front axle, which is particularly noticeable in poor road conditions. According to the seller, this deficiency was already examined by the Jaguar car dealership in Kronberg, but even there nothing could be done openly. For me, this is hard to imagine, because the sounds are not insignificant. Maybe one of you has had a similar problem before and can give me solution tips. I don’t necessarily want the workshop to start changing one axle after the next. Thanks already for your help ! jag-jag

  • XKR. “twit noises” at cold start

    Good day to the community, after reading some posts, I think with my Fzg. Jaguar XKR EZ. 2000 Silverstone convertible to be right here. There are some things to read about noise development after cold start, however, I find nothing comparable to my phenomenon. “With me chirping ́s” (no I have no bird) after the cold start the first 2-3 km quite loud. From the stationary gas at speed dependent, high frequency. Redirection roller timing belt WAPU are Kpl. renewed.! Even if it is l sounds usual, but “twisting” is 100% the soundscape. Maybe someone has experienced the same symptom and knows remedy. Another question about the interior equipment: The Fzg. has now 64 tsd. Km but the driver’s seat is something of “sustainless” as I have it with no Fzg. “cooperative”. Is this to be considered as “normal”? I am happy about feedback Stefan

  • X-Type used cars, why so cheap?

    I used to look at the usual internet pages for used cars and just looked at them BIS 10,000€….with big eyes I had to find out that I see a jaguar xtype with about 140,000km for 9500€. I thought to myself: ah…is anyway fucker…looked again… but that wasn’t the only… there are several in this price segment with similar running power and similar construction year. I always had the introduction: ui..jaguar…only for people with a thick wallet. I think I’m not the only one who thinks so. therefore: why is the xtype (but also stype) so cheap??

  • Super E5/Cars do not push and pull through fully/bad combustion

    Hi Leutz! I drive a Renault Kangoo and a Mercedes C 200 Sport next to an XJ81, which is still “winter-parked” at the moment. Both vehicles have been refueled exclusively with Super E5, but for about two months now hardly pull the sausage off the plate and have detonators (the Kangoo already longer, the MB since this morning –> at 4.5 tsd. revolutions, despite full throttle back to 3.5 tsd. revolutions!!!). The Kangoo was in two workshops (at Renault and in the free workshop of a known In the Mercedes I still wait for today’s return trip from work. Should he still jerk, he goes into the (without soon coming) inspection. Are there any of you forum members with similar experiences lately?   • Used car sales prices XK8 year 2002

    Hello Jaguar fans, cih am new to the Jaguar forum and greet you. I drive a Jaguar XK8 Coupe, which I bought anew in 2002. Although I still find this car beautiful and love it hot and intimate, I want to separate myself from it for different reasons. 1. I have been living in Rostock for several years and here the practical handling is simply very complicated because I have to go to Hamburg for every little thing. 2. I am 64 and somehow I feel like I’m in one place. i am too old for the car. I am therefore looking for an old successor model and reflect with a Mercedes GLK or VW Tiguan. Problematic is that the sellers here in Rostock/Mecklenburg-Vorpommern do not even offer me the Schwacke purchase price. My question therefore, has someone experience with user car sales prices when paying in and is this possibly a regional problem here?   • jaguar xj81 does not switch

    good day, I can get a jaguar xj81. it was imported from the usa and already provided with yellow blinkers etc.. now it has been standing for 1.5 years. the owner thinks that he ran the car in the stand and probably melted the cable trains for the transmission. that sounds very strange to me. is there any other things to consider with the us imports? it may be that the amis have a kat or something and then left the heat shield away have? as sifts in general with the xj81? on what is to be considered? is he better than a mark III xj12? my father has a Sovereign 4.2. are the carousel problems comparable?
