I intend to go from Wuppertal to Korbach in Hesse next Saturday, 01.10.2011, in order to see or buy a Jaguar XJ 8 4.2 V8 – Bauj. 2004 – 100 000km. I have no experience with Jaguar and it is therefore “my first”…. I would like to see someone with appropriate “expert knowledge” about the Jaguar and/or especially about this model type, who would be at my side with “Council and Action” or possibly also imagine. could go with me (against reimbursement) together to Korbach in order to spare me disappointments or a “mispurchase”. Otherwise I would also perhaps already be served with tips and experience values, on what I should pay attention to when buying or what one has to know about this model! I would be very happy about corresponding contacts. Dear greetings from Wuppertal, Klaus

Jaguar S-Type okay for beginners?
Hello, I bought a Jaguar s-Type 3.0 V6 238ps… (used) An acquaintance thinks I’m insane, and insists that it’s my biggest mistake of my life because I’m still going to kill myself with it…. The problem is that I’m a novice driver(21) Is it really that dangerous? Even if I drive very carefully and short distance in a village? (Need it from university to apartment) Sorry maybe it’s a stupid question, but I don’t know about cars so well, u And maybe I’ll return the car if it doesn’t work at all… But don’t understand why I can’t quickly adapt to the car if I’m careful. So should I return the car because GAR can’t drive it? Would be very grateful for every tip!

Hyundai Tucson Oil level warning no longer goes out
Hello, I currently have a problem with the Hyundai Tucson 2.0 crdi 4wd Diesel Automatik The car started with the oil level warning lamp, oil replenished and I thought well. Push cake, the lamp remained on. I rolled the BA the next day and then found the point where the manual reset is described, unfortunately the was unsuccessful, even after the described 50-100km no change. We then preferred the next service a bit and the car among other things to change oil into the (free )Workshop where he has been standing for a week now because they can’t get out of the lamp either. Oil level sensor was of course immediately changed but unsuccessful. Now yesterday the workshop master called me to explain that the fault is produced by the LIMA and he wants to exchange it now for a good 700€…. I have forbidden him the exchange now and decided for me that I prefer to look for oil more often and then the lamp stops because it only remains a Note is, if it gets arg goes on anyway the oil pressure warning lamp. Besides, I don’t believe that that’s really right on request if he tried the manual reset he answered not satisfactory and 50-100km he certainly hasn’t driven with the new sensor yet, so I have the feeling the lamp will soon start on its own. Is here perhaps someone who can explain to me how the alternator can produce a fault over the LIN bus which then ensures that the oil level ensor plays crazy?????

Hyunday Ionic – BEV Interested questions
Hello, at the moment with Prius mobil, my better half was able to gain experience and interest in 1 1/2 EMobility with me. Well, an I3, just like I drive it, she just doesn’t like it, but purely from the optics she has forgotten in the Ionic. Now on Saturday we would like to go to the friendly Hyundai dealer, actually with the aim to transfer that desire to the reality. Unfortunately I lack a little background to exactly this car. The hybrids are I’ve already been driving a test… chic car. What should I consider with the BEV variant, as far as I know, she has a facelift with an enlarged battery behind her. It’s supposed to be a red trend…. where should I put a cross in the accessories, what should I pay attention to. What real range can you speculate on (it can always only charge a car at home), how does he beat on longer motorway stages, which the lady of the house does not necessarily want to do again in the I3? rz und gut: She has a daily work journey of 80 to 150 km (total from front door to homecoming), drives on the BAB also times 120 to 130, Do you think that she is right with her choice from a technical point of view?

Kia e-Niro and Hyundai Kona electric
By increasing the premium as well as lowering the VAT, the purchase of an e-car is to be preferred. I have therefore been reading with you for some time and have, among other things, determined myself because of the range and the price of the basic model for the full promotion on the e-Niro or the Kona electric. In any case, I would take the large model with a large battery, the performance is not important, but nice. Due to the changes to the MY2020.5 it is only to become the new model, especially threep Since it will not be so much to configure and it will become my first new car, I would choose all the special equipment, so that I would end up with the Kona at 50200 and the e-Niro at 49860. Since the two list prices are so close together, it will probably depend on the possible discounts and the small differences. At the e-Niro you have a little bit more legroom behind, for that tells me at the Koko In addition, the e-Niro has an up-to-date delivery period of 8 to 12 months, I still have to ask Kona. I am mobile and unbound in time, but it may be good that due to the long delivery period the VAT is back at 19% at the time of delivery and I can pay back. Apart from that, I would be interested in experiences with the two models, especially with the current model year. Just like anyone in the same situation on the one hand or on the other hand. and what was decisive for him. Oh yes, test drives are booked for the next few days. Thank you very much!

Terracan, sporadic MKL, takes keis gas more, rarely goes out.
Hello, I am since yesterday proud bestizer of a Hyundai Terracan 2,9 CRD with 150 hp and automatic transmission from the BJ: 2002. I picked up the car yesterday and drove about 300 km home with the car. On the way home I saw the MKL light up several times, but it only lights up with strong acceleration or with stronger acceleration over longer time (like e.g. on climbs). If I then go from the gas pedal, it takes a few seconds until the MKL likes r goes out when I arrived yesterday at the slope and I had to give a little more gas for a long time with luminous MKL, he just didn’t take any more gas and rolled into the stand and went out, that happened 2x. I could start the car immediately again without any problems and the ride went “normal” without permanently illuminating MKL of course, she then lit up for a short time, but then she went out again and again. For answers I would be very nice to you kbar. Greetings Dreistein

Coupling wear and change
Hello dear forum members, I have a SantaFe 2.0 CRDI 4WD BJ 2001 with approx. 220,000 km, which I bought with approx. 195.000 km. A year ago I changed the clutch, (automaton, pulley and back bearing). Seidem I drove approx. 20,000 km with approx. 1.000 km horse hanger Now the clutch has already gone down again and partly slips through in the third gear. I have now removed the gearbox again and you can’t see any direct error as at the last time. looks OK, and still has a thickness of 8.4 mm No blue colour or cracks on the pressure plate or flywheel, no oil. I have added a set labeled by Valeo, as follows: PHC 39150 with KIA / Hyundai logo pulley: PHC 33608 The same number was also on the old set from a year ago. Now I’m honestly perplexed. Is the wear limit reached with the pulley? Did I possibly have the wrong clutch set in it. Coupling and makes it sense to install it? Should I try wvtl another manufacturer? Greetings WADI01

IX35 Seat defective
Hello, I’ve been driving an IX35 for three years (50,000 km) and I’m getting tired of it. The car cost more than 33,000 EUR in equipment. I’ve always had some flaws. 1. bonnet flutters 2. The car has a very loud engine noise, which means the insulation is not very high. 3. The sunroof pushes against a rubber lip, which stands out a bit (estimated half a millimeter). 4. Navi: for the Spartan functionalities much too expensive. For example, the addresses of my contacts cannot be transferred to the Navi. 5. Processing is not OK. (The driver’s seat knattert) but the worst: 6. I already have the 3rd driver’s seat, which is now already defective. Even if I don’t pay for it, the guarantee expires in 2 years and I stay at the expense or on the defective seat in the truest part of the world. The hard plastic formwork of the seat is designed in such a way that the side flank of the seat drills into it when the coupling is activated. Of course, it can now be said that this is due to my weight, but I used to drive 2 Santa Fe, each with 120,000 km and 90,000 km. There it did not occur and I weighed just as much. I think I will look around so slowly for another mark if I have been driving Hyundai for almost 11 years. But before that it was always the Santa Fe. There were no such defects. I really regret that. Can someone say something about these defects or does someone know how to fix them? I am very grateful for suggestions.
