Hello, The offer for the ix35 is quite thin. I have not heard of anyone who has already installed a swivelling AHK. There is an offer from rameder (Art No. Hy0478). Unlocking is done by pulling an eyelet at the bottom of the coupling itself and the socket has to be folded manually. From the picture this could be a Brink/Thule coupling. The video is very informative. For a short time Hyundai has also offered a swivelling device (Best-Nr. 9999Z-040440). Unfortunately without further information and the picture is not very meaningful. How is the can folded or is it even folded away? Who has experience of both versions in terms of: – continue functioning the return warning when the coupling is extended and of course without use? (with the rigid and removable of Hyundai this is probably the case) – How large is the cut-out on the bumper and is it visible? – How strong is the dirt sensitivity, Rust sensitivity to the function, mechanics, etc.? When I was sitting in the office, he asked me if an IX35 would be considered for me. I said: basically, but only from the next generation, because the current variant is not so much my business yet. Then he presented me a special print of a car newspaper, in which the “new” IX 35 was shown on the cover page. The picture, which was shown to me only very briefly, looked very much like a small version of the new Santa Fe. Including the very powerful radiator grill. I was told when that came to me: in the summer! The question about the year of the summer was only grinned. I did not get any more information. Now I know that in Geneva a facelift of the IX35 pres. The vehicle, which I was allowed to see very briefly, corresponded quite clearly to the hydrogen version of the IX 35, whose pictures are already on the internet. This car should come only in 2015, but probably now appears already this year. Does anyone have further information here? Is there really already a complete revision of the IX35 this year? Hello, look for advice. The search function did not show anything. Have an IX35 2.0 petrol engine and allowed me the luxury for expensive money to install the original day running light from the Hyundai accessory catalog. Now I or the workshop only have problems with it. Right after installation I have determined that the TFL concerns now and then even when the ignition is switched off. As for annoying, if this happens overnight in the garage —–> Nix Strom more… Result of the first test. Plus cable wrong was moved from the battery plus to terminal 30 in the fuse box. Result: The problem occurred more frequently afterwards. Now I also noticed (don’t know if this had only not been noticed before) that the TFL went out once in a while when the ignition was switched on. Now again in the workshop. The problem is known to Hyundai. The Plus line would be moved to the ignition plus today. Result: Now the light is permanently switched off after switching off. home function (TFL goes out 30 seconds later) is out of function. The TFL just switches off after 45 seconds in the stand gas (for example at traffic lights or construction sites) and only goes back on again at the start of the engine. It can’t be that. For Jolf and Co. I get TFL for 150 euros incl. installation. At Hyundai I paid a total of 4 times and they can’t do that? I suspect that something has to do with the voltage state of the on-board network and there is the error. Because according to the construction instructions, the things should be clamped to the battery and once to the headlight. Thus, the control units would never get with, if the ignition is switched on or off. So the control unit has to recognize this via the on-board voltage. Am I right with this assumption? The first error always occurs if the engine ran only briefly, e.g. if I took the car out of the garage and parked it in front of the front door. Assumption: No constant on-board voltage yet. the error occurs when the car is about 30-45 sec. in the stand gas. Assumption: Here the onboard voltage decreases, which results in a shutdown. My parents want to buy an SUV. The choice is the IX 35 as Eu reimport and a Santa Fe. The new model. The first question is, the dealer offers a perfect IX35 almost full equipment for 23.900Euro plus optional 2000Euro for a gas plant and advertises with 5 years factory warranty. Is this factory guarantee also valid for a reimport? Could be on the net Second question of the IX 35 is a petrol with 163Ps. It was intended to install a gas plant. This dealer offers the option to install a Vialle plant. On the net I read that only a Lovato or BRC plant is approved at Hyundai. Is this correct? If yes, it would be more useful to install the gas plant at a Hyundai contract workshop. Maybe a few experiences about a gas plant in general. Shelf life and susceptibility. My parents wanted to spend max. 25000-26000Euro. And there the Santa Fe is available, but without leather Navi etc. My parents are no longer the youngest and get the SUV mainly because of the better entry and comfort.
