Hello, can someone tell me what a “certified Jaguar technician” is and on what basis this certification is awarded? === I had contacted the customer service twice by phone and at [email protected], but their answer leaves the question open. Also the question whether the LIN bus is part of this certification would not be answered. Jaguar states that “comprehensive expertise” and in the “own academy” would mediate:https:/ /www.jaguar.de/…/techniker.html However, the reality was then that a car dealership advertises practically without interruption with its certifications – but then the technician “measured” the LIN bus with the DMM. And the boss of the car dealership praised that too. How to drive the LIN bus obviously did not know either. In particular, I wonder why there are oscilloscopes with special LIN and CAN bus decoders, if this technology is just a certified technician in an official n Jaguar car dealership is completely foreign. Greetings, Alexander

Insulation boot F-Pace – Volume exhaust
What does your F-Pace look like under the luggage compartment cover. I’m pretty semi-finished, not disguised or insulated. I ask because I saw one in a video where it seemed the storage space under the cover was covered with insulation (dark grey hard foam or similar). The reason for the question is that my 3.0 V6 340 hp from the exhaust in the interior becomes much too loud from 3000 rpm (even under moderate partial load). , because it sounds like you wanted to race in (outside anyway) even though you’re really in a good mood. I don’t know whether a insulation would bring anything either. But I’m going to plug the test in with blankets. I know that I’ve chosen a sporty FZ, the leader (who doesn’t stand at all) was much more pleasant in my memory. How are your experiences?

Jaguar XJ-S 5.3. V12 H.E. Tempomat? Climate?
Hello dear car friends, I’ve been having a beautiful XJ-S coupé from 1984 for a few weeks, already the H.E. variant. 1.In my engine compartment, the vacuum hose from the cruiser is simply closed with a screw and somehow it looks like it’s missing. The hose is just the small nozzle on the bubble bellows pointing upwards and somehow it looks like the rubber needs a bow? Is that true? 2. From my heater in the interior comes only cold air, so K Limakalte air, can someone help me on the jumps, how can I get warm air out there? (does there some side air? Or can you adjust something?) Thank you in advance. I hope for your answers CA

XE with 17″ standard tire to 19″ – is that possible?
Hello everybody, I’m a little confused right now. It’s about me wanting to mount the 19″ rims “Star” (5 double spokes) on my ordered XE 20d automatic (132kW) with standard tyres in 17″. The rims/wheels have the dimensions Now on this Jaguar internal paper is under note (3) that this is not possible for vehicles that are released for 17″ tyres. But that’s obvious to me when it comes to 17″ rims/tires. o correct or can I still buy and assemble the 19 customs duties. My dealer unfortunately refuses to give me any statement ! What would be with a acceptance at the TÜV/DEKRA ? Thanks for your help and many greetings Ralf

Climate only heats, except from the air shower
After last year no heating worked and it became so cold that even the plastic of the air shower has burst, I had the heating double valve changed. After changing the heating valve the air conditioning did not work any more, so it comes only hot air. The only adjustment in the cold air comes when I put on the air shower on the windscreen. After my nerves were blank, mi t the car, because in between other things were broken, I had the error memory measured today: Result: 0 errors. Then the coolant was checked: 30g lost in 2 years. So dense. The Kima compressor works, the heat exchanger is fine. Cold air only on the front window. I was told that most likely the actuators or also the actuator cap are. So what mechanical. Now my questions: 1. Is the assumption with the actuators true? 2 If yes, where can I find them and how can they be replaced? 3. Can the change of the broken double-heating valve have anything to do with it? Or is it a coincidence that after changing the same at once only heats up? 4.What more could it be? I thank you in advance for helpful answers. Best regards

XE 2.0D Main Investigation DO NOT UNDERSTAND!!
Hello, my frustration has to get rid of here… Had ordered my XE brand new and drive it for 3 years now. This is the time when you have to drive for the first time to the main examination in Austria. I drove to the ÖAMTC (our equivalent to the ADAC) with a good mood and without a bad foreboding. When I picked up the car, I already saw the appalled face of the mechanic, who was almost embarrassed to tell me that the car would NOT be allowed to operate more when the necessary repa In addition, the left rear brake disc and pads were completely at the end! Not only the few km (51Tkm) and the delicate age of 3 years caused the anger to swell up in more, but all other brake discs and dampers are as new as possible! In other words, material errors must be the culprit How can a 60k€ car please after 3 years already not be carried out… I have already written to the JLR dealer with the expectation of a warranty cover or bulwark control, even if it is wear parts, how can it be that the errors occur only on the left back?! I’m curious what feedback I will receive. I’m not willing to pay 1€ for this cheekiness on a so-called “premium” car.

Engine noise Jaguar XE
For 4 weeks I have had an 8-month-old used car Jaguar XE 180PS Diesel) in which quite clear howling noises can be heard in the engine range, exactly when I take away gas and the engine is in the speed range from 1600 to 1000 revolutions. Sounds like a U-Bahn is entering. Actually, would like to know if someone has that, because according to Jaguar it can happen occasionally with the XE models and Jaguar does not know what it is. the noises are with petrol engines, as the engine noises are lower overall. For me, therefore, the question of the conversion of the purchase contract also arises. Maybe someone has already had similar experiences???

Decision in principle
Hello dear Jaguar Community, I would like to personally assess your assessment of the following facts. But first of all ZDF . Inventory: Audi A4 B8_2009 2.7TDI with 310,000 KM on the clock. annual mileage: approx. 35.-40,000 (80% highway 10% Country 10% City) Budget: 12,000 euros I have the great “luck?” that my brother works at Jaguar and now has an internal advantage purchase on a saloon_Jaguar XF from 2010 3.0 – 241 hp diesel with 110,000 KM. The car costs me 8_fold over now my question, would you give up the Audi against the Jaguar? I personally really like my Audi and wanted to crack the 400,000 mark with him and actually get a little lower from the consumption costs ^^ now I think I might just do something crazy, because the extra price in the maintenance against Audi vs Jaguar is marginal. How would you decide?

First everyday experiences F- Pace
I am now 4 weeks proud owner of an F-Pace 2.0 Awd automatic. The car is my 1st “modern” Jag , the last years I drove Benz , Bmw and Porsche . I am basically happy with my cat , but after 2000 km also had to notice that the f Pace still runs a little after the German competition with regard to workmanship quality and thoughtfulness ( operator guidance etc ) . I mean not the cheaper cockpit materials but rather things ,the so the rear door or rear seat makes noises, the sign recognition of the navigator works badly and the hood flutters easily at speeds of over 150 KM/H. Maybe these are all starting difficulties, the more would interest me your experiences. 🙂

F-Type as switch
Hello F-Type-community, I am thinking about getting an F-Type Roadster, and I was thinking about the S-version here. Before the recent test drive I had already read in the forum about the dubious engine damage and fires etc., and promptly the seller was also very eager not to turn the engine over the first 20km (I never do anyway). First question: I can no longer find a newer communicataton on this topic. What has become of this with regard to error-cause and flaws? hes ? During this longer contact and ride with the “S” I noticed a few things that I would not have expected: – ZF-Automatik much worse tuned, than e.g. during installation in BMWs. Very much carrier. – the Meridian sound system does not deserve its name, or Navi is in operation and graphics simply disk glue and from before yesterday. – Sports seats are a must The presenter was (I believe) from 9/2014. 2016 model as a switch, with flap, 19-piece tyres, sports seats and little other equipment faxes. A driver car just. Second (main) question therefore: Has anyone already driven this switch version, and how are the impressions compared? Probably he will drink like a hole, because the ZF will keep the ball flat in normal mode after all, or ? Are there already experiences with the 2016 update of the sound and navigation system, which probably already took place since the factory holiday is installed ? It’s funny. I also recently drove with the brand new 11er of a friend – the objectively in all matters clearly better sports car. Just grabs me the design of the F directly to the E…. Many thanks for your feedback. Jürgen
