Have this for 2 months and am satisfied – after but only 13,000 KM on the clock. As it is so, a rim times slightly scratched and initial equipment rim costs sometimes in replacement about € 775, – which shocked me already. Otherwise the car is more than satisfactory and makes a lot of fun. The engine is sufficient, which I compared to previous passat with 150 PS can compare. Equipment is more than good and works well to date – without any dropouts and NAVI is very fast – faster than in the passat, as well as more reliable. Kia Ceed clutch / who is responsible?
Hello, I bought a used Ceed from a car dealer in December 2023, he currently bought 80k and with 67k. I noticed 2-3 months ago that in the D1 walk, he jerks when starting up. Now I called the workshop, however, he told me that this is definitely not a guarantee case, if the clutch is worn out. Whether this is defective, one would have to check, but costs 120-130€, which I am not really willing to pay, already alone, because I have a year dealer guarantee and after a 3/4 year that happens suddenly. the problem, which seems to be a short circuit somewhere, because the boot lighting does not work, since the buy is not, the rear camera is leaking and the picture is extremely pixelated and the Car Play USB slot, also has a wackler, all that, I should inform the contract workshop, which fix it on guarantee. For me, the dealer here takes off the responsibility, but I simply don’t know how to do that. Now I don’t know how to proceed here, because the whole problem is that the car is not a problem. It would be great if I could get recommendations and information about what I should/can do now.

KIA dealer network
Hello together, what is actually going on in the KIA dealer network at the moment?? My dealer in Koblenz has closed, in Oberhonnefeld the lights are now also running out. At KIA in Bonn, appointments that have been booked online with 2 weeks advance are sometimes just postponed by 4 weeks. Then there are 2 more dealers or workshops with which I have already been able to gain experience, but which will never see me again thanks to indisputable services. The call to the KIA hotline ends in the fact that ss they send me the manufacturer specifications for the inspections by email and I should go to a free workshop. Do I have to understand this?????????? After I move my third Sorento at the moment, it looks strongly like it will be my last one.

Warranty Kia – no workshop appointments
On all KIA owners, KIA is extremely sensitive with the smallest exceedances to the service interval, the guarantee expires very quickly. On the other hand, KIA is known to offer workshop appointments only with very long lead times, so I had to search for a long time, which offers me an appointment after four weeks waiting time. 1650 km before the service date (142 days) I get the information that the inspection is due. Every week I drive more than 600 km, i.e., the 4 weeks are not enough, one-two appointments i Customers in addition – and already the kilometers have been exceeded – or leave a car, happen at the moment. As a professional frequent driver this is not acceptable, because KIA does not have enough workshops under contract to get an appointment at least after two weeks. Furthermore, KIA is not able to answer an e-mail to the customer service in due time (I have been waiting for 2 weeks without answer). Conclusion: KIA – knows neither the needs of its customers (or does it want to – does not stand aside the customer – leaves the customer “hanging” – forces the customer to leave the car – produces costs (a car that is costing without equivalent) – does not (me) work, or has to take another AUto – if I have that. At the moment I collect experiences of other KIA owners, since I think about it at the moment to file a lawsuit, because KIA does not offer the possibility to implement the service that they themselves require sufficiently promptly, here I would also like to think about a class action. Reimport > 7 years warranty ????
Hello, yesterday at the KIA dealer asked for a reimport, so I got a confusing answer. The reimports don’t have a 7 year warranty. Can someone confirm that. In a KIA brochure it says that every Kia sold in Europe has a 7 year warranty from 2010. I don’t think the dealer is too good to talk about reimports. Olli
