  • Kia XCeed Platinum: Consumption

Hi, I’d be interested in your consumption at the Xceed. I’m about to get an Xceed in Platinum Edition with 204hp gasoline. I’ll use the car mainly as a commuter vehicle.

  • 7 years guarantee? Not really!

Sounds great at 7 years warranty at KIA. But when it comes to it, it’s amazing how fast KIA gets out. I bought my Rio from the dealer 06/2012. At almost 16,000 kilometers the car was maintained at the dealer’s and with almost 19,000 kilometers the coupling is now defective. Regardless of the fact that the dealer rejects the warranty, KIA writes back the error, according to the dealer, to my lack of driving experience, since I have the coupling constantly Since I drive a company car as a second car, and I drive more than 40,000 km a year with it, I feel that this is already a shame. The costs of more than 1500,- Euro should therefore be paid myself. Therefore, it is not possible to talk about a guarantee. But most of all, I got angry about the incompetent dealer, who explains to me after 2 minutes during the test drive: lies on the driver and the driving style. No guarantee possible. that will be my last KIA.

  • Xceed winter bikes

Hello to all Xceed drivers, vehicle is already one year and is therefore probably already a winter have been ridden. Especially the 1.6 CRDI drivers may announce their winter wheel/tire combinations. Of course if possible with price and source. I stand before purchase and tend to 16 inch steel rim-if possible. Would be happy about your comments. Thank you and many greetings

  • Brake line change against steel flex: experience, loss of warranty?

Good day, we are currently expecting our new Ceed (used, 1 year old, 17TKm). With its now 13 year old predecessor, we had the rubber brake lines replaced with steel helmet after about 5 years, because I did not agree to the response behavior at all. At the test drive I already noticed that the Ceed is better than the Hyundai in the original earlier, but by far not as crisp on the brake as the Hyundai now with steel helmet. Does anyone have any experience here what this does with the 7 year warranty? I think it’s hard to assume that it will go out at least for the brakes. Or would that affect even more?

  • Track Keeper

Hello everybody, it’s pretty annoying but I know that the track hold assistant will always be activated automatically at the start. What I didn’t know, if you don’t set it to play on the steering wheel, but just jerk off, this setting is discarded at the next start too? What’s the point??? If I don’t want the function I have to hang myself through the menu after each start? I’m getting more and more away from this teeming box that makes a lot of sense. to reduce responsibility

  • Warning for vehicles in the Dead Angle.

Hello together. If someone would please report briefly in which situations the warning appears in the outside mirror. (ceed CD) If I drive on the AB and overtake a vehicle, no message appears on the right side. If I am overtaken, the warning comes every now and then, but I can’t really say what these situations differ.

  • Kia Ceed (CD) SW Loading edge protection

I’m expected to get my Ceed SW at the end of next week and the negotiated (original) accessories will now be ordered via the dealer. I’m not sure if the version stainless steel would fit better or shiny. Color of the car will be Lunar silver. Does anyone at Kia have a loading edge protection in his car or even have pictures of it available? Thank you & BG

  • Update 2021

Does anyone know if the route delays are still displayed? I see the one since the release of the Updat any more. So I don’t see any big improvements. Rather the opposite. And if the update wasn’t necessary to use the language function again I wouldn’t have done that. But as I said, I miss the expected delay of a route very much. Did it also fall away?

  • Switching in the meantime very difficult. Independent of transmission oil temperature.

Hello together. I’ve been having the phenomenon that gears (all gears) are very difficult to use for a long time. Levers can only be inserted with a bad effort -> circuit clamps. This is especially so at cold outside temperatures. However, it doesn’t depend on whether the car (motor, transmission) is warm. It can almost not even go to switch within a ride up to no restriction. With standing motor the gears always go easily, as far as I have noticed. Kup The problem has worsened in the cold season over the years. In summer there is never a topic. Who has an idea about this? Thank you! KIA cee’d ED 2010, 1.6CrDI 90PS, 6 gears
